HP PSC 1310

I have been using my PSC1310 with a laptop running windows XP. Now, I changed to a laptop that runs windows Vista, can I continue to use this printer, or should I throw it away and buy another printer?

Thanks again, Enrico, but I wonder if we are at cross-purposes, because I did not clear I'm not now able to use my Mac Yosemite. My Windows PC (Vista 32 bit) is left behind in another country and will not be accessible for me until April. You say I can download Windows Vista 32-bit driver on my Mac and I will be able to install and use the software on my Mac?

Best wishes

Malcolm

N ° you have not made this clear at all. I based my suggestions on the subject and the information contained in the initial post that you created.

You cannot use Vista with an Apple OSX driver.

Follow the instructions on the HP web document I have planned on installing the driver for the printer on an Apple device. HP printers supported in OSX 10.10 Yosemite. Your PSC 1310 printer is supported, but may not have a full pilot. Apple V. 3.0 for OS x printer drivers

  • HP PSC 1310 all in one more not print color

    Hey guys,.

Recently, I replaced my color ink cartridge in my HP PSC 1310 after don't have one a few days and now my printer just won't print in color. It is aligned and it SHOULD be printing in color, it displays just everything in black and white. Y at - it a setting I'm missing or something?

    Thank you guys.

    SlamNetwork,

OK, we know that's not the material of the PSC 1310, that we are able to get the color on the diagnostic print page. So that leads me to believe he has associated software, something in the settings of printing or drivers are causing to print in black and white only. Before you complete the steps, make sure that your Windows computer has all updates installed, check and see if there are those that could be installed. Please follow the steps listed below:

    1. disconnect the USB.

    2. remove the software HP PSC 1310 to uninstall from the control panel of your computers an option of the program.

    3. restart the computer

    4. make sure that all them that software PSC has disappeared from the list of programs, but also your HP folder listed under all programs in your Start Menu

    5. now, go ahead and download the software and drivers for your PSC (DO NOT connect USB until the software prompts you to):

    6. go ahead and print a test page.

    7. If you are unable to print a test page or get no color, please run the HP Print and Scan Doctor- it was designed by HP to provide the users with troubleshooting and problem-solving features needed to solve many common problems encountered with HP print and scan the products related to Windows computers.

  • install a hp psc 1310 all-in-one for windows7

I've recently upgraded to a Bell with Windows7 system.  Unfortunately I can't get my disc to load for my all-in-one hp psc printer 1310 to load.  I get the warning that I don't have "administrator rights" and the system will not load.  I tried to download the installation Sinc online but without success.   How can I work around this problem?

Even if you are probably an administrator user, Vista and Windows 7 administrators run with Standard user privileges only (by design), and that's why you need to elevate privileges in your chart by selecting the option 'run as administrator '.

Even at that time, anti virus software (and other security software) can also interfere with the installation of programs.  It may be necessary to disable it temporarily.

  • Scanning with PSC 1210

Anyone know if I have all the installed ink cartridges in order to use the scan function?  Someone has just given me their old printer, but with no ink.  I tried to analyze something with a Brother MFC 420CN, but he would do nothing until all the ink cartridges have been installed.  I've never printed in color, so this is not a useful option for me.

Also, the PSC 1210 is compatible with Windows 7?

IIRC, this printer can print with only 1 cartridge. If you insert only the black cartridge, it prints ink backup mode.

As for Windows 7, it has built-in drivers for PSC 1310. So he just plug the printer to the PC and run Windows Update, and it should install the drivers.

  • How to stop a test print page whenever the HP psc 1315 printer is turned on?

Everytime I turn on my HP PSC 1315 printer automatically prints a test page.  How can I turn this off?  At the same time, I was able to print or copy without a first printing test page.

I also have Windows 7 ultimate installed with a HP PSC 1310.

He kept printing an alignment at each start page, so I downloaded and installed the installer of HP PSC 1315 all in one series printer:

    Link:

This download works for the 1300 series.

I ran the printer align cartridge utility, page printed, put in the scanner and used the button "scan" as the 'OK' button and it solved the problem.

Thanks for the tip of the "scan" button

  • Windows 7 needs. INF file for network HP PSC 1315 printer

I have a HP PSC 1315 all-in-one printer connected to a Vista x 64 laptop. I connected the printer with my desktop Vista x 32 before the end, however, I've recently added a desktop Windows 7 x 32 on the network computer, and I can't add the printer. I installed the drivers from HP for Windows 7 x 32 site, but when I go to add the network printer, it says I need a. INF file. It recognizes the printer, but it wont let me connect or use unless I have that. The driver INF file. I don't see why I need something else, because I have the drivers and software already downloaded. The accompanying CD wouldn't help, either, because he has only XP drivers, and I have even more.

Try the following: go to the folder, devices and printers, add printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Vista64Computer\printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update, and then select HP PSC 1310 series.

  • Cannot print/connection of Windows 7 for shared PSC 1315 on the XP Machine

I have a HP PSC 1315, connected to a computer running Windows XP (32 bit).  This printer is shared.  I can access it from other XP machines on my home network.  I can't access it from my computer Windows 7 (64-bit).  I can see the printer is shared on the computer, but when I double click on it, I get the following error:

"Windows can't find a driver for hp PSC 1310 series on the network."  To locate one manually, click on OK.  Otherwise, click Cancel and consult your network administrator or the printer manufacturer's Web site. »

Then I tried to download the driver Windows 7 (64 bit) of HP and installed on my Windows 7 machine:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=Al-75052-1&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=CA&...

At the end of the installation, it asks to connect the printer to the computer via USB.  Because I'm not physically the printer connected to the Windows 7 computer, I check the box that says I can't login now and go forward at the end.

Then I tried to connect to the printer and I get the same error.  I try to locate a driver manually.  I point to c:\windows\inf\ without success (I am * if * the driver info might settle there, but I don't know what the name of .inf).  Windows says that it cannot find an appropriate driver.  Maybe I should be looking elsewhere?

I found some troubleshooters on the HP website, but it does not give "shared printer on a network" as one of the schemes to solve connection problems.

I'm a little confused on this one.  Hoping that there will be something simple, I missed.

    Thank you!

Here's a good explanation of how to share a printer from an XP PC to Windows 7 PC on a network home.  It should work since Windows 7 (64-bit) PC can see the partition Windows XP 32-bit.  What you missed was the type of port to use for the network connection.
