  I try this plugin (IR) report to Excel (xlsx) http://www.apex-plugin.com/oracle-apex-plugins/process-type-plugin/ir-report-to-excel-xlsx_74.html by Anton Scheffer and when the report opens in Excel, I get an error that Excel wants to fix.

  The report is an interactive report.

  I check the forums of andPL/SQL SQL almost everyday, this forum less.

  But Tom's right. Because the plugin doesn't work in most cases your problem is very likely related data. So if you could share the xlsx file, or the files mentioned Tom that it would probably help solve the problem
  The demo of the plugin page, you can find an updated version, here , which fixes some problems. I'm not sure if solves your problem.

• Missing columns when exporting reports to excel

  VSM RP08 & RP10: I came across a problem where we are exporting some of our reports to Excel .xls format where the file seems to get corrupted and we lose some of the columns or the colum headings.  It opens again, but we lost a few columns.  Repeat the results and what report another column may be omitted.

  I managed to find the problem with one of the standard reports box "IPK-call summary reports" Top ten type "as well."

  If someone has observed this behavior and if so, is there a work around / solution?

  I had problems with printable reports carefully formatted when trying to get the data into excel from our V8.

  Data could exchange columns on one line per page, the headers don't align with the data, titles on each page have an age to undress, etc..

  The solution I have cam up with was to identify the report containing the data I need to manipulate in excellent and to create a "light" version with all the stuff readable fancy removed and the report basically turned into a list with a single header line.

  Do all the header fields and the data on the characters of eight or larger and spread evenly over the entire page and align the header to the data exactly.

  Excel in this will cause usually some empty columns that separate the columns of data.

  It is easy enough to do everything that you do is reformat the output and once his work, he always works...

  When I export a report FRS run in the workspace in Excel, line heights are not together in FRS each line is the same height in Excel.  How to do this?  I don't want users to have then to adjust the height of rows in Excel so that the report is read when printing.

  Action-> download-> when you click the CSV, it will send a request like "CSV". Change the columns that you want to include in the output csv file. Go to the Condition section,

  Condition type: request is NOT contained in the Expression 1

  Expression1: CSV

  This column will not include in the csv file.

  It doesn't have to be in the link on the Page, but in the Page Type.

  In OBIEE 11.1.1.6, when I export the report to EXCEL file and open this file to view all the data, it is correct.
  However, as the amount of data is so, so I add filter for each column (click on the sorting-> filter filter)
  When I select data in the filters, I'm afraid that I find the value of 'White' in the last line in the filter area, but in the table, there no null data. Why? Are you facing the same issue?
  Secondly, when I select a value, it will generate a data line.
  
  For example:
  2008 - Region1
  -The region.2

  2009 - Region1

  -Elle3
  
  
  When I select 2008 data in EXCEL, it will display unexpected data, as below:

  Exactly... If you export to the format you will not face question of null data or incorrect when filtered.

  When I download a report to Excel it is still opening as an MHTML file as fact when I download any format as Power Point, etc it is defaulting to MHTML. Please let me know if there is any change of setting I need to do. It works great for someone else, but for me it doesn't. Thanks for your time and your help.

  Well, if you say that your Excel does not recognize a .mhtml file

  Follow these steps to check:

  (1) open the Windows Explorer (hold the Key Microsoft - one to the left of the ALT - and then press 'e'. It is a shortcut to open Windows Explorer. (Note: not to be confused with Internet Explorer!)

  2) click on tools > Options files and when the window opens, click on the views of file Type.

  3) scroll down until you get to .mhtml. What is the application associated with this file extension? Change it to Excel, and then Excel needs to open the file for you.

  I am buiding a reports page, and everything now I know I need to limit the number of results on the page (number of rec is 69 720), I made very easily. Now, I tried to build a stretch to navigate through the results with a return type / front of the nav code block, but it does not work.
