  XMLImporter works for the pages developed using JDeveloper also, so I did not understand your point.

  DBA can set the password for APPS in a unix environment (I'm sure it would be already) that are visible and accessible only for the user to super/appl. In your script, access the variable directly ($VARIABLE NAME) while XMLImport.

  I created 2 custom pages "EITPersonPG" and "EITPersonMainPG" and imported in the SDM repository using import.bat. I created a function to 'EITPersonPG' and he added in the menu. I can open my pages in the menu directly, but when I try to open "EITPersonMainPG" of "EITPersonPG" I get this error:

• I reset my homepage to yahoo and now firefox has a pop up that tells me that they are not my home page whenever I open a page

  I prefer the yahoo homepage..... so I put my yahoo homepage. now, whenever I open a page, I get a pop up of firefox, telling me that they are not my home page and I need to check the action I want... can we stop this very annoying pop up or do I have to remove firefox itself. ???

  What looks like the popup? I think that Yahoo may have a bar in the page content area that encourages to make your Yahoo homepage. However, if it appears outside of the page, and especially if it displays when you visit other sites, it could be caused by an add-on unwanted. Here's an example another user recently published along these lines:

  

  Here's my method of tracking down and cleaning of the bad modules, the air pirates and injectors ad. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

  (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. • Holding still to open new pages, or not at all

  I have used Firefox for years, and it has always been THE best browser. However, the last two versions have shared a problem, and it has me Firefox hunts. First of all, regardless of the settings, Firefox insists on the last page of opening, rather than the Google News page that I said open the preferences page... * watch * the good Google News page, but Firefox keep coming back to this that last opened. It's annoying, but not a game-breaker.

  What, however, is that Firefox has become incredibly slow in opening * any * page, if we open the page at all.   Also, could check you the custom connection settings? You can do it in the dialog box Options here:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > tab mini network > button "settings".

  The default value of 'Use system proxy settings' should piggyback on your Windows/IE 'LAN' settings, but you can also try 'No proxy' to see if it has an impact.

  Do you by chance have the LastPass Manager as an add-on of Firefox?
  (You can click the icon settings at the top right and choose Add ons).

  If you do, try to disable it, or from Firefox with no Add-ons to see if it works.

  This add-on seems to cause problems with Facebook on Firefox.

  I'm no computer expert and cannot afford to have my iMac cleaned. I don't know what to clean or how to do it.  I have extensions that I don't know which ones to delete, things like that, not sure what flash player I need or does come with your old iMac 2007?  I have Adobe who is good or bad but there are a few other does not say what I really should use.  I hate feeling so stupid and for the past 3 days, my computer works so slowly takes good 5 min to open a page opens it sometimes say oops error, waited for a long time, I even guess.  I don't know how to fix or what I should be getting rid of or keep.  I finally get rid of all the caches, just took a chance, still no improvement.  I have never on this point but can't afford to get whatever it is, I need to back up.  So please, can someone help to shed light on this point, what to delete it so my computer can run like he did?

• D110 printer custom page size

  I have a PC of HPE-400y under Windows and Office 2010.  "I have a document in Word that has a size of custom page 5.5" x8.5 ".  It will not be printed on a paper 5.5x8.5.  In Word when I select Preview before printing, the D110 shows up the print, the page size as 8.5x11.  "If I click on the page and go to"more formats of paper and dΘfinir the page size to 5.5x8.5, the box shows custom page size 5.5"x 8.5" with one "! "in the box.  When I click on print, it prints it centered in the middle of a page of 8.5x11.0.

  So I have shows the properties of the D110, and saw that the driver was list as Micorsoft.  So I download the driver full features on the HP site.  It made no difference.

  If I go in Word and open the document and select the printer preview and select Microsoft XPS Document Writer printer, the size of the page shows that education 5.5 x 8.5.  If I then select the D110, it shows the size of the page as letter 8.5 "x 11".

  So, how can I print 5.5 x 8.5 page size in the D110

  HP Chat has solved my problem.  We open the print properties, then choose the features tab.  You click size, and then in the drop-down list, click Custom...    It then opens a window of the custom page size.   In the name field, enter the name you want the custom size to call.  Change the width and length you want, and then click on SAVE and then on OK.

  I then went in Word and the name that I created in the custom page was there.  And it prints correctly.

• Laptop won't mode standby when open Web pages

  My laptop (Dell latitude E6510) is not want of sleep / hibernate when I open webpages (Chrome). OS = XP.  If I click on standby, it just hangs.   Unfortunately, I got things running for awhile which I cannot test Stand By and Hibernate with this new version of Chrome, until they end :-((hours) and I'm too lazy to go to another system since I can't reproduce the problem.

  But if you still want to create to create your own page and pagelayout region. Take the seeded page from server to the local computer.

  Apex.navigation.dialog from code using JavaScript is not often necessary, but there are cases where it is necessary and it can be done. The tricky part is that the URL should be generated by the server as PREPARE_URL. The general idea is to extract the url from the rest of the javascript code that is generated. This can be done on the server or the client.

  Regarding the example code above, I never recommend using eval and it is better to use the apex.server API (or DA) than the old htmldb_Get. You can return to the server to have it prepare the URL using ajax, but wherever possible it is best to have the server generate the URL when the page is loaded. If you do not use ajax have the server split the URL you can call apex.navigation.dialog and not eval.

  It would be really nice if in the future PREPARE_URL had an option to return to the dialogue page URL or the URL and strings but also separate options. Or it could be a different utility API.
