Hallo,
seit dem last Update gehoren sich folgendes problem. ICH platziere ein black-and-white Tiff in meine Indesign file. Richtigerweise der nun ist background transparent und das Motiv schwarz. So weit, as well.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Yes, it's a known bug, and the developers are working on a fix.

See here:

Re: Images tiff bitmap color shows in black only

What is helping:
'View of overprinting' checked permanently.

In German:
Do einfach die ein 'Uberdruckenvorschau'.

Die shows the town.

Kind regards
Uwe

• I received a call from someone claiming to be a representative of Microsoft

I just got a call from someone claiming to be a representative of Microsoft to report that my network downloads could be accompanied by unwanted files without my knowledge. I know it's a scam, but I played along anyway. The representative asked me to press the keys Ctrl + key Microsoft Logo at the same time. Of course I hung up immediately, but I can't find in any of my research, what will make this combination of keys. Can anyone advise, please. Thank you.

Original title: what is CTRL + touch Logo Microsoft do?

It is a scam. This combination of keys does nothing. Then, my guess is that they will tell you that he was supposed to do something and work on you from here to get info on your machine. Microsoft never does unsolicited phone calls.

• PerfMon statement drive dramatic increase in access to Oracle starting times

Hello

My Oracle 10 g (10.2.0.4) server is hosted on a windows 2003 server.
The data files are stored on a disk RAID1 on a dedicated partition array: currently 30 free concerts on 180, that shouldn't be a concern unless I am mistaken, because the data files have been created in the form of 10 GB of files with no automatic growth. I add a new data file whenever I need more space for my tables (alerts when 80% used).

Since 2 days I feel a loss of theatrical representation:
The EM console reports nothing special (no alarm storage-related) outside the need for a more paged memory.
I have a reorg when segmentation Adviser suggests.
My the optimizer statistics are calculated by the default scheduled task.

The strange thing I noticed is that as soon as I start the database, there is a huge disk activity increase even if no request at all is submitted to the database.
PerfMon reports current length of queue of > 1000 disc and disc > 3000 ms access time

CPU is 2% of the activity on the 4-CPU server.
I have a lot of spare memory (currently 3 used on the 16 GB).

It is a server dev for ETL processes, there is very little simultaneous connections.

Any suggestion is welcome.

Now have a serious look. AV Dr (ms). For a value of tablespace cannot event now enter the window that's why its display #.

According to the recommendation of the oracle Av Rd (ms) should not be greater than 20, if his will on 20 so its considered to be a problem with the IO subsystem. But as its seen in your case its passing.

Now the question on my side
Did configuration changes?
I suggest you undo these changes as soon as possible and to communicate with the storage admin guys...

• HP50G equations w / complex real Vars & solve for reports of Vars

Hi guys. I have 2 questions.

1. given an equation with a variable complex and variable real in it, I want to solve for both variables. Here is an example

Given:
∠120 has° + jb =-4 + j3

Solve for A and b.

Answer:

A = 8
b = -3.93

I know it's possible to solve by hand because A is true and b is complex. But I don't know how to do this on the HP50G because the equation has two variables inside.

2 it will probably be a bit more complicated. Saw 2 symbolic equations, I want to solve for the report of two variables with respect to the other variables. Here is an example.

Given:

(X Z) / Q + (X - Y) / (X - Y) + R / Q = 0
/ Q (X - Y) = Y/R

Solve for Y/Z depending on X, Q and R

Answer:
Y/Z = [/(Q+R) R] ^ 2

I'd be very impressed if anyone can understand these out or already knows how do the following.

Thanks in advance!

Hello

(1) :

It's my approach:

Settings of the calculator:

-angle mode: radians (required for the Solver)

-coord system: rectangular (my choice as it fits x + y * i).

-Digital and about unchecked

-operating mode: RPN

-Flag-27 value complex display that x + y * I

First angle must be converted to radians, 120 deg = 2/3 * PI radians (PI can be entered as WhiteShift SPC).

Enter ' (A, ∠2/3 * PI) + B * i =-4 + 3 * I '

I use 2/3 integers to facilitate the exact mode of address, shortened to ∠ is ALHPA, redshift, 6.

That the calculator is in rectangular mode, it will be transformed into rectangular.

You should now have:

A * COS(2/3*PI) + A * SIN (2/3 * PI) * + B * i =-4 + 3 * I

Now, press ENTER to duplicate the equation.

Go to WhiteShift MTH, CMPLX.

Select RE for the real part:

A * COS (2/3 * PI) =-4

Press SWAP (silver arrow)

Select IM to the imaginary part:

A * SIN(2/3*PI) + B = 3

You should now have 2 equations on the stack (the real part of level 2) and the imaginary part in level 1

You can now put them in a table (2,-> TABLE) and use the Solver to solve for A and b.

NOTE: when you use real numbers instead of integers, you may use the digital Solver of multiple equations MSLV (NUM. SLV). This requires a set of initial parameters i.e. guess (see Chapter 7 of the great user's Guide or MSLV AUR).

(2) :

You cannot resolve Y/Z directly. However, you can solve for and there, Z , then simply ÷ to get Y/Z.

Level 2: [(X-Z) / Q + (X - Y) / (X - Y) + R / Q = 0 (X - Y) / Q = Y/R]

Level 1: [Y - Z]

S.SLV, point 6 or F6 to SOLVE

Will result in a list or a table that contains solutions for Y and Z depending on X, Q and r. use OBJ-> once or twice to put both equations separately on the stack, then press fracture for Y/Z.

Note, you can change the representation of the solution by the factor or simplify (best way to find who is to press down arrow money to enter the Equation Editor, select the right side of the eqation then de FACTO or SIMP).

I hope this helps.

Do you have technical assistance representatives call saying that there is a suspicious activity going on my computer and I do give you the permission to take control. These people are literally hart add me. The number they call from East (646) 820-3928

I just got a call from a Jack Hardy, who pretended to be a representative Microsoft investigating damage to my computer because my computer downloads. After that I expressed some hesitation he wanted me to verify his identity (00442032397020) by dialing a number to give me. We got cut off before that happened. Can you tell me if Microsoft would contact me like this. My suspicion is that it is connected to the messages that appear sometimes for me to respond to errors to Microsoft. Comments?

It's a scam! Do not leave them in your computer! A search on these forums and you will see a HUGE amount of them being reported. Just hang up on them. Microsoft will never call you unsolicited.

Sounds like you're being spoofed and not hacked. The emails appear in your sent
Records showing you sent them?

Which is called Spoofing and its pretty easy for a spammer to make. Of course, it does
it look like you or the other person has sent the e-mail. Someone intercepted an email and
It may not be you who caused him. Account of a friend could have been consulted
or even someone could have sent an email on your behalf to someone else who has been
compromise. Your friend can access headers and block the real senders of

• Alleged windows phone representative called to say that my computer was doing a lot of mistakes

original title: representative of Windows Phone?

I have an old Dell laptop with Windows XP. A person named [(510)943-3040] a Mark called and said my computer was a lot of mistakes and has been infected. If I turn on my computer, it would be happy to turn it off for me. I get a lot of error messages - send error report, for example, but I don't think you would contact me in this way. Am I wrong? What should I do if he was right? John Clark

It is a phishing attempt! Do not give any information.

Reported people on these calls for a person who represents Windows (note: not Microsoft).

It is a scam! Not to follow their instructions or advice and not to provide ANY information to them.

Because they use the internet lines and/or phone to complete their fraud, there may be federal agencies in your country who are interested in discovering their calls. Their report directly to the appropriate agency if you feel you can contribute to their arrest and the charges.

Microsoft do NOT pick up the phone and start dialing customers and never phones/e-mails asking for personal information or asking them to visit a web site!

On another note, if you encounter any problems with your computer, please do not hesitate to post a desription of situation and the error messages you received in those forums. We would be happy to help you. (information staff unnecessary or requested !)

• Report on the ability of virtual machines VMware Cluster

We started to evaluate Foglight for capacity planning and evaluation. One of the reports that I believe is interested in our leadership is the "ability of virtual machines VMware Cluster" report. I see that the report provides a value for the VMS remaining. I would like to learn a little more about this value and how is it calculated:

1. What exactly a 'virtual machine' represents in these reports?
2. Can a similar report to run using a specific type of server based on the allocation of resources or patterned after an existing VM wokload?

We are a small, medium and large VM offering based on the allocation of resources. I would like to change the report to display the number of each type of virtual machine I have available... or pointer pointing to an existing virtual machine, and according to its resources and workload, determine how this server, I have available.

It is based on the average size of the virtual machine in the cluster. If you look at the dashboard of capacity management in the user interface, it can give you more details by cluster. It is based on the average of the use of min/max/AVG across all virtual machines in a period given (usually 90 days). This can not be changed today, but there is work to allow lets you specify a size of slot for something as small, medium, large, etc...

This feature exists in the Foglight for virtualization, however Standard Edition. It might be interesting to watch this, if you need it sooner.

• Report capability with VFoglight 6.1

Hello
I was looking for a way to generate reports of ability as follows.
1. it should display a summary of what is current and additional capacity for VM with the statndard configuration.
I know that capacity planning cartridge can do that, however can who enforce it against cluster?
Kind regards
Paresh

OOTB, this is impossible, but a member of our sales team created a cartridge that has the ability to do so.
I suggest that you contact your sales representative and ask about the velocity cartridge.
It's a cartridge not supported as vBundle-1, but both are beautiful cartridges to have nonetheless.
