  For months, I was able to view my laptop on lcd tv and my projector screen. I would just plug my cable rgb at the back of the TV or projector and the screen would be immediately shown. Now am unable view the screen of the laptop on each device. I try to toggle Fn + F5 button but this has no effect. I don't have to press Fn + F5 because it displays automatically once the rgb cable has been connected.

  I have intel chipset r965 and have just recently updated the driver from the website of intel but this has not solved the problem. Would appreciate further advice outside the toggling the Fn + F5 key

  I'm afraid that's the problem. Toshiba's own drivers tailored for each model laptop with the support of all the features and additional options.

  I'm afraid with this Intel driver it will not work. Back to Toshiba driver.

  Hello sirzune,

  You can all stop them by clicking on the "Stop" button in the Start Menu and unplug your laptop battery charger and remove the battery from the laptop. This will give you good way before replacing your laptop equipment.

  If you have multiple computers, install a software disk cloning (IE: Acronis image) on it and then clone drive of the image of the USB hard disk for replacement (may require you to buy a USB HARD drive docking station if you don't have any place to connect).

  The error message indicates that there is nothing to start, it means that an operating system is not installed, or the MBR is corrupted, that is not your case. The hard drive is ok, but you must restore the system using the recovery disks, you got.

  It's simple, change the startup option in the BIOS to CD/DVD-ROM as the first one (press ESC on startup, press F10), then you can insert the No. 1 disc in the optical drive recovery. Save the settings of the BIOS (reboot), then follow the instructions (click on factory reset). It worked for me that way...
