Request code.

Is it possible to get a claim code for my p2015dn printer that is connected to my wireless router? EPrint of iPad to the printer works fine. I would like to be able to print using the hp connect services. However, they want a claim code but the p2015dn doesn't have a tab of Web Service when you use the web browser to connect using the IP address of the printer.

Hello

The P2015dn does not support web services like HP ePrint and have therefore no tab of web services.

Only models that are listed on the following features of ePrint document support, the P2015 is not listed as you can see:

  • Create process failed; code 740 the requested code requires an elevation trying to download the latest version of Any Video Converter

While I was trying to download the latest version of Any Video Converter I got the message: create process failed; code 740; the requested code requires a rise.  What does that mean and what should I do to be able to download this program?

    Hello

    (1) have you made changes before the start of this issue?

    (2) what website you are trying to download from?

    (3) when exactly you get the error message? While trying to download or install?

    (4) what browser do you use?

    (5) can you download and install other applications/programs successfully?

Create process Failed: Code 740 is an error which is caused by Windows being unable to load the permissions that your computer needs to function correctly.

Try disabling the user account control:

Enable or disable the User Account Control

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off

Note: User Account Control (UAC) can help you to prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. It works by asking permission when a task requires administrative rights, such as installing software or changing settings affecting other users. We do not recommend disable user account control. If you turn it off, you must reactivate as soon as possible.

Let us know if that helps.

  • A request code I sent you! happy Cn217A!

Hello! I just want to know that if it's good the claim code you sent me!  CN217A?

    Lynn Roberts.

    Hello Lynn Roberts,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you asked if CN217A was the code of your application.

CN217A is the number of product for your HP Photosmart Plus e-all-in-one printer - B210a and it is not your claim code.  I've included the document 'the code of claim printer' so you can find your printer request code.  Please be aware that your printer must be connected to your wireless network before you enable web services.

If you printer is not connected to your wireless network, it can be done easily from the front panel of the printer. The instructions are in your user's Guide on page 35, in the section titled "to connect the product with the wireless configuration wizard.  Don't forget to pass the type of connection on your computer if you have already installed the driver for a USB connection.  I included the link to the web page of print Center wireless HP "convert from a connected USB wireless printer".

For any additional consultation, I have included the "adjustment upwards a Custom Email address for ePrint" to guide you through customizing your ePrint e-mail address.  If you plan on printing from mobile devices, once you have configured the ePrint feature, I've also included the document entitled "HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ" and "HP all-in - One Printer Remote App Mobile FAQ".

  • Request code has changed

I just bought a printer 4625. During installation, a claim code was generated. After that, I changed the printer email address. Two days later by a reason any (I don't know what I did) a new claim code was generated. When I tried to print a document, send to the email address, the printer does not work. Now, I realize that the printer email address has been changed also. Then I tried to change the email address to the ones I posted the first day, but the system does not allow me because he said, that he was not free. I have to choose another. My question is how can I rename my second email to the first address.

    Hi, javier64.

Some kind of rebate to zero, other than a network reset, had to be done to the printer so that it lost is the e-mail and print a new code.  Currently, the 'old' email addresses are locked for six months.  You should be able to change the email to the address of origin at this time here.

  • Photosmart 7520: request code

I sent HP technical support without response. I am trying to add my e-print 7520 and need of a claim code. I also printed out my my printer configuration page. No claim code listed. However, I am trying to set up my printer to my Verizon tablet, is it still possible? Thanks in advance!

    Hello

You can connect your printer to your Tablet using ePrint.

To do this, you must register the printer and get the claim code.

Here are the steps to get the claim of the printer code.

Once you connect your printer with the cable network, let the printer get the IP address.

Now plug your laptop or your PC in the same network.

Type the IP address of your printer in the address bar of the browser and hit enter.

Now, you will see the embedded Web Services Page.

Access the Web Service tab and click Activate.

Now, the printer must be turned on and print a sheet with the claim code.

After obtaining the identification of email of the printer, use HP eprint App on your tablet to connect the printer.

    Kind regards

    Oliver

  • 5514e All in one B111h: request code

I am trying to get a claim code so I can add my printer in order to receive the information reports and eprint. I'm already on Hp connected but you can't always find a claim code.  Please notify. Thank you.

    Hello

To find printers email address you will need to activate the icon web services from the front panel of the printer. It is normally a button on the front panel or an option in a menu.

The printer will be connected to your WiFI network, and once you press the icon of the device web services, it should print a page with the claim code composed of letters and numbers. It's the e-mail address of printers (when you add @hpeprint.com to it).

Once you have this, go ahead and configure a connected HP account and register the printer to your account. This will allow you to manage settings of the ePrint printer but also to track the history of the work.

  • Request code PIN 3 G bug annoying as hell

I've read some older posts on this issue and not really found something on Lenovo working on this.

The problem is that TPT randomly asked the SAME sim card pin 3G TURNED OFF!

This is particularly troublesome when your TPT is hooked up to a projector because you, let say a lecture or showing a movie.

Also the hdmi port remains on, so either you pull the cable each time or everyone watching will know your sim card, PIN and also you screen model of lock. NOT COOL! Lenovo sells TPT the Tablet for professionals, but then demand pin code appears and the professional look like an idiot in front of a crowd.

It keeps me really using the TPT for what I bought. I imagine the same is true for other owners, so this must be a priority and fixed urgently!
