• Problem with the dialog box displayed when the RadioButton is selected.

  It is an application with 3 buttons button1, radio 2 and output key that uses System.exit (0)
  The problem is with the dialogs first two buttons

  1. I open the application

  2 Select a radiobutton, I get a dialog box, I click 'ok', dialog will, that's fine.

  3. I choose an another radiobutton button1 or button2, I get the corresponding dialog, BUT know I have to click 'ok' twice to keep it alive.

  I guess the event changed field is called twice, once deselection button1 and once to select button2. you pay your processing logic to account for this.

  I think that there is a method that must be overridden to avoid this problem. I get this result when I run my app in the device with OS 5.0, but it works fine on the Simulator (7.0).

  Use ButtonField.CONSUME_CLICK as a style.

  your override of navigationclick should also work, but you would raise the event changed yourself field before return true.

• Developer SQL 2.1: problem with the dialog box to change the display

  I am running Version 2.1.0.63 on Windows XP SP3.
  
  When I open an existing view and make changes in the change display dialog box and then click on the button OK the dialog box remains open and the view is not changed.
  
  This user has Create View privileges and can run CREATE or REPLACE the sql statement to change the view. The same view of edition having the same user works very well in Version 1.5.3.

  Hi WalterGR, for me, 40 Firefox works in the same way as previous versions. One click adds a bookmark in the bookmarks unordered folder (you see the animation of the star in the list). A second click opens the Panel to modify bookmark. CTRL + d also works normally.

  Could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

  Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

  If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
  • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

  and OK reboot.

  Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

  In my application I need to open file and file save dialog box when a specific button is clicked. I looked at the docs of stunts, but I found that the native options. Tried the native alert dialog, change of filebrowse dialog type. It displays well on Simulator, but could not get any output file that will be used in the Qt code.

  I pass these parameters

  To use the native filebrowse dialog box, the native code must run in its own thread to prevent the user interface in the Cascades to block. This is achieved by encapsulating all the dialog box code in a class derived from QThread.  The class I wrote is called FileBrowseDialog

  This class derives from QObject (by QThread) which means that it can be used by QML when it exposes properties and signals. The FileBrowseDialog class has 3 properties

  -multiple selection: a Boolean flag indicating if single or multiple selection is allowed

  -filepaths: a read only value that returns the list of files selected

  -Filters: a read/write value is where you can specify one or more filters to file (for example, ".doc", "*.jpg") etc.

  The next part is how you call the FileBrowseDialog through the QML. To do this, we must inform the QML of the FileBrowseDialog page. This is done in the App class via the qmlregistertype code.

  The QML is now ready to be able to use the FileBrowseDialog. The example below is a page complete qml which has a button and a label. When we click on the FileBrowseDialog button is open, and all selected files will appear in the label.

  And it's pretty much just invoke the native dialog file navigation in stunts. Please note save the file would follow a similar model, but I found that this dialog box was not particularly useful because it displays only a simple dialogbox with a text file name entry.

• Problem of print dialog box. Cannot change the selection of the printer. Box is stuck on Canon Fax series printer in the dialog for some programs, but not all programs.

  Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

  Ideas:

  • Adobe Reader; Mozilla Firefox will print for the Canon Fax (not my default printer) series.  I am trying to print on a printer HP 7300, which is my default printer.
  • I can print to the printer HP 7300 of Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer
  • I have very limited ability to print from Microsoft Outlook, but the number of copies is out of control
  • There is no error message
  • Problem started after a power surge
  • I did a restore of the system for the period before the problem started, but it has not set a problem.  I also ran the Windows Print diagnostic program but found no problem.  I ran McAfee virus scan and found no problem.

• How to move an object using Distance and Angle of the dialog boxes only?

  I use Illustrator CS6. When I select an object and open the window move (either by pressing the Enter key or by selecting object > transform > move), I try and move the object at a given angle and at a given distance. I leave horizontal & vertical dialogues empty and just fill the information for the Distance and Angle. When I press OK (or copy), nothing happens. In all previous versions of Illustrator, this feature worked perfectly. I can't make it work in CS6. What I'm doing wrong or what setting I'm missing? Thank you

• PowerCLI and Popup Message or dialog box

  Is there anyway to display a message to a user, when the PowerCLI script is complete.

  In addition, if you know another way another popup then, as we did in VBS, I use Message.Show in c#.

• Problem of dialog box alert from QNX

  Hey guys,.

  I have here an application that I use the qnx alert dialog box in my program and I have everything works as it should.  The problem I have now is I want to add an image in the alert box.  Even after I created the code to add a picture to the alert, the alert displays always very well, and when I need it, except the image is not there.  Anyone know why this is happening?  even if I don't explicitly declare the variable image function and jusst call from the mxml that still does not work.  Here is my code.  Thank you guys!

  the classes in the library dialogue QNX is not extensible, nor can they be treated as normal sprites or objects also. they are related to the underlying system. so adding an image will not actually add the image. the system is very precise as to what he wants and wants to display. so adding objects such as images does not work unfortunately. your best bet is to roll or use the library of jtegen, it has displayed a little back and forth with customizable dialog boxes:

• Problems within the hierarchy of the modal dialog box

  I just started watching JavaFx2.0 and I encountered a problem with the creation of a Heirarchal of Dialogs collection (internship). I want to be able to do is to create a windowed application of hand and than create internal dialog boxes and maybe same dialog displayed in in dialog boxes created, it could serve to messages to a user.
  
  But I've found that I can create a main stage basis, and I am able to create a modal scene in this primary stage. But if the intermodal should create and display another stage, and for this new step to be modal, it always appears as if the 3rd stage is in its own application, (I know, application is not the right word, I'm looking for dedicated to...), it is the 3rd stage seems to work separately from the previous 2 steps.
  
  Here is a simple configuration of the 3 step of what I'm trying to achieve...

  You must call. show() on the dialog box before show you the popup message (with the dialog as the owner).

  If you change it, the behavior is as you want it to be.

• [JS CS5] problem with memory leak possible with the dialog box in the event handler

  I'm having a very difficult problem.

  I am attaching a script in a handler for a menu item, by using an installation script menu that I wrote based on one by Marc Autret. My version of the script menu installation attach a bunch of event handlers at the same time, to the actions of different menu.

  What is the event handler, with that I have a problem is to prompt the user for a URL and then applies the URL as a hyperlink to the text selection, with our house style for the way in which the URL should look like.

  The problem is the following:

  1. all other installed menu actions work very well, except for this one.

  2. the addition of URL script works fine, when you run it directly from the script menu.

  3. the combination of #1 and #2 (using the script to add URL by function as an event handler in the Edit menu) blocks to InDesign. But it is only after the addition of URL script has finished and done what it was supposed to do!

  4. when I comment on the section of the script URL adding user input, so that instead of saying

  userInput = myDisplayDialog();
  

  It is said

  userInput = "http://thisworks.com";   // userInput = myDisplayDialog();
  

  It works well as an event handler.

  So obviously a problem with the dialog box, but only when adding URL script is executed as an event handler. My first guess is that this is some kind of memory leak, but I think I am following the model of. destroy() the way I saw it elsewhere.

  Someone knows something like that before?
