  Clearly a bug - December 31, 1969 at 16:00 is January 1, 1970 00:00:00 UTC, a magic date in many operating systems and the programming languages that is represented by the integer 0 (i.e. an uninitialized variable date).

• Tiny bridge unusable UI (Win 10 use screen high ground)-help! No solution found in the research forum and www.

  I found a Photoshop setting who works for new CC versions, but nothing for the bridge. The application is completely unusable. Interface labels all incredibly small. Using the Magnifier application is useless. BTW, the bridge didn't have this problem until yesterday. It looks not like Photoshop before preferences ' difficulty. "Suddenly, bridge dropped from readable to useless. Were there a just released upgrade which (unfortunately) reflects this catastrophic change?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

  We published a new version of Adobe Bridge (CC 2015) on July 19, 2016. This update is available via the Adobe Creative Cloud application.

  We have added support of HighDPI under windows in this version. Please try the new version and check the number you have met.

  If you are not able to locate the bridge (CC 2015) on the creative cloud application, you will need to update application creative cloud and restart the machine.

  Hello

  I have a problem with my email and need help.
  I have 7 e-mail account in thunderbird and each account a reception and about 10 cases per account.

  The problem is disappeared from my Inbox from a single account mail and Inbox is now empty, but I do not know why.
  Now the first question is that thunderbird makes backup files I could simply copy or move it to bring my emails in the box of a reception? The Inbox and inbox.msf are now small 14KO on behalf of one and the other used to be massive.

  Now, I did some research forum and managed a small victory, I deleted an account "popstate.dat" and I managed to re - download my last 100 emails or while he remained on my mail server.

  Next question is on the backup and restore, and yes I have search the forum for awhile.
  I have mozbackup and use it to back up my mail a month ago, but I never needed to restore my mail.

  Is there a way to restore only the Inbox of the account where the mail disappeared?
  Or he will restore all accounts, all folders and mail?

  Is last question, possible to back up each folder and the Inbox of my email accounts separately?
  So if this problem arises again I can simply restore a folder element/ect... and then delete the "popstate.dat" to re - download again the current emails?

  I'm sorry for asking such questions noobish, but I never had these problems before, and I'm a noob to restoreing email in thunderbird.

  Update, I was able to use mozbackup file and folder import one I lost.

• Notes disappeared. Everything.

  I have the Mavericks.

  I do not anything special - no updates or anything. Is back to work today and I noticed that the computer turns off so I restarted.

  Then I noticed that all THE notes disappeared in the Notes application.

  Did some research forum and see that getting into ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes can find the data. But this file does not exist in the computer. Help, thanks in advance.

  Under mac osx pro mavericks (10.9.5) when you click on go > hold the option key > library > containers > com.apple.notes > data are not there.

  You can see in the new versions of el capitan.

  Regarding your question notes disappear you deleted the notes or in case if notes app is corrupt we enter library hidden the same method as above and in the Preferences folder > find com.apple.notes.plist right click on it and move to the trash.

  The apple logo reboot & empty trash.

• Satellite P100-423 - RTC battery replacement

  I'm happy enough to replace the CMOS / RTC on Satellite P100-423 battery because the device is out of warranty and the battery needs to be replaced.
  Le-423 is a build of Costco and not much found after the mandatory, manual Google and research forum.

  Can anyone recommend a type satisfying to do this, no clue on the former.

  Are you sure that the RTC battery is replaceable?
  I ask this question because as much as I know it is not possible on all s models and if it is replaceable you can find the specs on the battery itself if you disassemble the laptop.

  Normally, this battery can be charged if you leave the AC/DC adapter plugged in for 24 hours. Have you already tried?

• Satellite R830 Core i5 - not marketing

  Hi all.

  My R830 seems not have experienced a catastrophic problem preventing it from marketing.

  I had been running pretty hard laptop underway last week to run simultaneous accounts and multiple applications while output of music on speakers when the phone suddenly blacked out.

  I tried to turn it back on for nothing doesn't.

  I did some research forum, but couldn't find many discussions on all issues, I tried a hard reset. Remove the battery etc and now the power button in during 30 seconds, plug everything in and then switching it back on. Then, the laptop would start for about 5 seconds, attempt to start and then die again. Laptop not charge not despite having the power cable is plugged in (no charge light).

  My own idea for the problem is that it is question of battery or a motherboard, but I can't be sure.

  Is someone able to give advice on how I could fix this or shed light on what is perhaps the direct question more?

  Connect power adapter while turning on the unit?
  In this case, the laptop must turn on and run even if the battery is faulty or discharged / vacuum.

  In my own opinion, it looks more like problems motherboard as a related problem of battery materials.

  Another question: are you able to access the BIOS? The laptop works in BIOS mode?

• Satellite C850 - keyboard no longer works

  I have an old Satellite C850 of only 8 months and the keyboard stops working frequently enough. I have to click on where I left and start typing again, but a few letters later it crashes again. I have a USB keyboard and a mouse attached and it does the same thing on the USB keyboard on the laptop keyboard. This leads me to think that it is a driver problem.

  I did the research forums and reset in the BIOS by default and also tried pressing FN, left SHIFT, CTrl left then right shift including a forum said work, but it doesn't.

  Any ideas before it goes in the trash?

  Check please if the newer BIOS version is available. If I m remembering well in the past of similar problems have been resolved with the new version of the BIOS.

  Laptop warranty valid if you have another option and t is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. If there is some hardware problem, that they should fix it.

• Satellite P100: Where to find the BIOS 2.4 to get rid of overheating

  Hi all

  Well well, it is for anyone who has had problems of overheating on the p100 or other such fan disturbances in vista or xp.

  Here is my story:
  I bought a new p100 on seven 6th with Vista preinstalled and I found that I couldn't play because A) there was the problem of "stutter" B) my system overheats protection to stop the automatic to do.

  So I spent a week of research forums and the bowls of the internet trying to find solutions for that.
  The first most liley solution I found was to downgrade to XP, so I did... and that fixed the problems of stuttering during playback of dvd and while palying games!

  However I have had overheating issues (I could only play games like oblivion for 10 minutes then boom).
  The temperature of my system has been peeking at as 75 to 85 degrees, obviously this is not good. So I phoned a support technique toshiba and they told me to take it in an ASP and the look.

  Well, it's a problem for me, because the nearest EPA is 4 hours away by rocket lol jk but it is plan Z.
  So I looked more deeply into the darkest recesses of internet forums...

  AND I THINK I FOUND THE ANSWER!

  However, this requires downgradeing to the BIOS version2.40 who, after a week of research, I have been unable to find! :(

  So my question... my please. Can someone tell me where I can find this particular version of the Bios?

  If you have had similar problems, like that I can post a link to the forum (I've not worn to hand at the moment but I can get it if anyone wants) which I think has the answers but you should have a pretty good understanding of computer systems to try these fixes. I weeded ut who changes the ACPI settings does not work (for my system anyway)

  I wish you much luck, but I'm a little pessimistic about finding the old version of the BIOS. Please check this forum a bit better by using the advanced search option. I'm not 100% sure but I think I read the similar topic some time ago. Maybe you can find the user who wrote this version of BIOS. Check her profile here and write on his e-mail address, if any.

• Satellite C660 - cannot start the facial recognition software

  When I try to run face recognition software I get a window saying to contact my administrator - I have the status of administration on the Satellite C660 laptop.

  I think that this tool is confusing upward in some way. Therefore, the first thing that should be judged is a new software installation. I recommend you to uninstall this tool first.
  You can do it is Panel-> software

  After the uninstall, it would be recommended to clean the registry. This can be done by using a software like CCleaner.
  After that, download Toshiba face recognition software pilot European page and install again.

  Don t you need a lot. Download the drivers for your machine by clicking [HERE | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp] choose your machine (model number is PSAE0E) and registration of all the drivers available on your machine. Then I suggest you to burn all the drivers on a CD to get to your hands after installation.

  It could happen that your hard drive is not recognized during installation. It comes from the lack of drivers SATA (Serial ATA) on the Windows XP CD. This can be solved trough the "F6Floppy" or 'slipstreamed Windows XP CD' solutions. Sorry I would now not explain the WHOLE process how do this because this problem/issue was discussed, about 1,000,000 times here in the forum.
  I guess you already saw the text box 'Research Forum tips' above. Take these words I gave you above (F6Floppy + CD XP Slipstream) and type here or in google.com.
  You will find many useful documents.

  Otherwise there is no special thing, you need to take care off. (Plus I Don t know what I could tell you about your installation of XP on your beautiful machine path ;)))

• Envy 15 video freezing, BSOD

  Been responsible for research forums, but it seems that I am quite alone on this one (which seems very strange).

  I have reinstalled my desire with an OEM of W7 Pro version, used all the drivers on the HP support site
  and I suffer from random blocks where the screen freezes or go black.

  If I leave W7 Aero active never locks up on me, instead of this, he'll just BSOD on me regarding the ATIkmdag.sys

  It will also crash a lot more frequently.

  With disable Aero W7, it is much more stable, but it usually happens when switching from windows or watch a video

  (youtube, etc). I thought that perhaps it would be heat even if fans ever spent in a hurry so I tested a FurMark

  burn in test and it worked very well for 15 minutes with the GPU fan at full speed.
