  If you must use these commands depends entirely on what you want to achieve. Your subject line suggests you have passwords have an unlimited life. What is closing audit and the audit table flushing has to do with it? What is UNLIMITED FAILED_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS has to do with it?

  The only command that "off" password expiration would EDIT the PROFILE by DEFAULT LIMIT PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME UNLIMITED;
  And that only affect the passwords that are changed or created after the change of the profile. And only for users who use the profile specified in "ALTER PROFILE .

  I am running Xenapp 6.5 on Server 2008 R2.  We use HP T410 clients running that OS build Z6A43201.

  At the expiration of the user password active directory and they log on to the workstation, it is prompted to reset their password.  After you enter the old password and the new password and confirm the password they receive the error "failed to update the password.  Make sure that the value provided meets the requirements of length, complexity and history of the field"

  If I go to an ordinary PC and start a web interface Xenapp session I am invited in the mansion even change my password.  If I use the same password, it updates without problem.  If I use an iPad to run Receiver and start a session, I can also change the password.  This only occurs on thin clients

  Citrix says it's a problem to think client as a thick client (PC) and the receiver are both successful in changing the password.  HP Support says "no way".  There must be a problem of ICA session.

  Any help in troubleshooting or by correcting the errors would be appreciated.

  UPDATE: the problem was the time on the thin client.  It was not configured time server and the time was over five minutes late on the domain controller.

  Did you run the command "change profile" AFTER the password has expired? In this case, it will not affect the password already expired, but made sure that won't happen again. You must reset the password in this case.

  However, it is not a good idea to change the DEFAULT profile. Instead, create a new profile as APP_UNLIMITED with appropriate limits and assign the user to the application.
