  Hi, I'm using Vista and Firefox 3.6. I installed some popular addons such as no script and the web page of the trust for the admin account, but when I connect under the standard account with fewer rights, I do not have them available.   I use APEX v4.2 and inadvertently forgot password administrator apex. I tried to reset the password by executing the apxchpwd.sql as sys in SQLPLUS but modified past is not being recognized when I try to connect to apex_admin as the admin user. Could someone tell me what I can do to successfully reset the admin password

  Do you have updated recently to an earlier version of the APEX by any chance? Are you sure that you run the script apxchpwd.sql APEX 4.2 and not an older version?

  It may seem like a stupid question, but I have seen this problem when you try to change the admin apex password using a script from an earlier version.

  You cannot reset the administrator of a limited account password.  You must be logged in with administrative permissions in order to reset the password of any other user account.

  Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account (it cannot be deleted) using start > run > 'control userpasswords2' to change the desired accounts.

  By design, the only way to connect to the administrator account on Windows XP Home is to restart in Mode without failure.  For WinXP Pro, by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice at the Welcome screen will produce the standard login dialog box.  Unless the owner deliberately value password to the administrator via the Management Console (_not_ Control Panel), it is probably still a Virgin.  WinXP Pro ask the installer to set the administrator password during installation, but WinXP Home does not work.

  I recently installed an Epson L555 instead of my Epson L355, which worked well with my software windows 7 and my BACK program based. However, whenever the L555 turned the printer just keeps ejecting the hopper pages until it is empty. On the menu screen, it says "printing", but there is nothing in the print queue and I didn't send anything to be printed. Sometimes it reads "Fax set auto answer. By pressing the Stop/Reset button stops the ejection pages and "Cancel" is displayed on the screen. This continues for about 2-3 minutes, then the pages start ejected again. Problem does not occur when it is not connected USB so that it looks like some sort of communication problem. The L355 worked perfectly.

  I solved the problem.

  Initially, I tried to reset the password using computer management > local users and groups > set password. However when I tried Control Panel > user accounts > manage user accounts > reset password I was able to change it without any error message. I guess there is a difference between 'set password' and 'reset password '.
