Resize a partition for recovery to the original format?

A few months ago, I installed an SSD (512 GB) in my laptop after the HARD (640 GB) using Acronis Disk cloning.  In time, I have not noticed that the process reduces the size of the D: partition recovery of 22.3 GB GB 19.9 or the real used space in the partition.  Now, I keep getting a warning not enough disk space on recovery drive.  I also just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

I can resize this partition to original size to add 2 GB without affecting the data (there is plenty of room on the C: partition?  If Yes, what is the easiest way?  The recovery of the DVD discs that I burned play the same goal the recovery partition to dismiss the recovery partition?  If so, how to remove the partition recovery or at least stop these messages?  Thanks for your thoughts...

The recovery partition must not be used to store data. It is for this reason that it should not have a drive letter. You can now launch disk management (diskmgmt.msc), right-click on the recovery partition, and then remove the drive letter. This get rid of the unwanted (and inappropriate) message in an elegant way.

It will be. This option is really there to allow export with all tag metadata information. It will remove all changes made to the picture image.

  • Satellite P100-188: how to perform the procedure for recovery of the product?

    Hello

I just had a bit of trouble to install a piece of software that, in the end I could settle with a system restore. This process was worried at the time that I could not get the software uninstalled properly (I had to download a program from the machine to uninstall!)

At one point, I considered the restoration of my laptop Satellite P100-188 with the product recovery disc, the thing is I never did this before and I was wondering if someone could tell me the best sequence for later use.

I have a standard Windows Media Center Edition OS, a recovery disk of the product, a disk Express Media Player and a CD of Drivers and tools that I created when I got the laptop.

I have a feeling telling to restore Express Media Player before Windows, is does that mean that I have to insert this disc, install Express Media Player, then insert recovery disk product to install Windows?

The Express Media Player disc formats the drive? It's not clear to me and I don't want to run into problems when I finally don't have to reinstall my operating system.

I searched this forum to see if this information was already posted and could not find all the relevant information, all I can find are problems with the help of recovery and lack of discs discs.

If it has been posted before could you provide me a link and I'm sorry again calls for data.

    Hello Gary

If you want to have own OS preinstalled, the best solution is to use supplied recovery media. If the Express media player works well the leave it as it is and use the recovery DVDs only for clean operating system installation. All that s!

Tools and Utilities CD can be used if you need to reinstall Toshiba designed tools or if you want to install your own operating system by using the facilities of Microsoft CD. If you have any other questions please post again.

  • How can I move files system recovery to the original location?

I use Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion P6000 series.  I believe that the Recovery Manager created Windows System Recovery Files folder on the C: drive (from .wim files) created on an external drive, and I want to move them to the original location.  Just copy or move everything to the C: drive, or is it an executable program that does this?

Found this previous post - I guess that's the solution...

The backup that is used to recover only restores the files in a folder, leaving the owner to move. I agree, not the application of backup more useful, but better than nothing I guess.

  • Is it possible to link an image resized without having adapt automatically to the original image?

I have two Adobe illustrator images that are very similar, the first is 5 inches wide the second to replace is 3 inches. I just place and put the image in InDesign, but I had to change forms and thicknesses as certain proportions of the image would be just too small.

When I create a link to the file it is changing the image to adapt the existing framework of the largest. Is it possible the file repeat keeping the content of the new file to 100%. I know that I can use the grabber content to see how the content has been developed on the scale and fix it, but it's not boring where you will need to select "adjust the framework to settle later. InDesign, AFAIK, does give no warning to tell you than an image when relinked has been stretched to fit the image.

    -Thank you

It is in the application, under file management preferences. Check or uncheck the box to preserve Image Dimensions when reissue of links. When checked, the relinked image will be adjusted to the same dimensions as the old version (possibly distorted). When not checked, the new image will come with the same scale as the original factor, that resembles what you want in this case for me but I am not sure (this is often true for .ai files where it is made a change that moves an element, that affect the bounding box art and you have trimmed to art or bounding box rather than media).

Sometimes, if what you want is a 100% zoom it's just easier to put the new image on the editing table and place it in position, remove the old.

  • Save a photo retouched SUDDENLY want PSD instead of the original format

Hello everyone and thanks for glancing to my question - I was looking for online help and did not find the answer.

I'm on windows 8 and use adobe PS cc.

I have a large file that I make corrections and minor adjustments (especially) to photographs.  the vast majority of them are jpg with a few png here and there.

I've been running along smoothly... my changes, then ALT/FILE/S (and sometimes I have to say the quality PS) but all of a sudden, when I go to save the changes, PS tries to save as a PSD rather than the file format of the original photo.  I know I can "click in the drop-down" to put in place a jpg, but this file causes 3 additional clicks per photo (1 to move down to change in format jpg, 1 to respond to 'replace the file with the same name', 1 to answer 'no' to save the changes to the PSD)... .and when I'm dealing with about 3000 photos, it turns into a lot of unnecessary time.

someone has an idea of what I could have done to have caused this?  or how I can get back to where I was just an hour ago?

I checked 'edit preferences' etc., although I have not changed anything before.  I closed PS and restarted.  I restarted my computer.  to the best of my knowledge, I am, do nothing but far from editing and POOF, something was different.

Appreciate all the help that can be offered.  Thank you!!

    Hi emailstephen,

    > I've been running along smoothly... my changes, then ALT/FILE/S (and sometimes I have to say the quality PS) but all of a sudden, when I go to save the changes, PS tries to save as a PSD rather than the file format of the original photo. >

Is it possible that some of the changes you made resulted in a non-fond layer, as a layer Layer 0? Maybe used Merge visible layers, instead of flattening the Image? If you have a single layer, the name of the said layer still 'Background', he got the padlock icon and its openness to the JPEG format, it should let you save in JPEG format.

PNG, of course, can carry transparency so that is created, but can be JPEG.

  • How to save in the original format

I recorded a cover band and my camcorder split the video into several 2 GB. Clips MTS.  The most important point is that there is a LOT of time out, breaks, etc.  I would like to know how 1) change an original file of 2 GB MTS, remove blind spots and replace the original file of MTS with the result optimized in MTS format. (2) I want to combine all of the MTS files optimized in a big file MTS.  That file would remain on my hard drive for years and all the files (today and tomorrow) project référenceriez this single file optimized.  I would like to delete the files of origin of my camcorder and laptop.

FYI: I just copied the files via the USB port on my camcorder to my laptop.  I'm not married to the MTS format, it's just the format that I had when I faced the files.

    Thank you!!

When you go to "Computer", you should then see the available formats and choose MS AVI. That should bring up the video, Audio and multiplexing by tabs. The title of the video, you should have a Compression (depending on the version, you will need to go to advanced) drop-down menu where you would choose Lagarith or UT.

This is a look at the screen of pre 4.0, which will be a little different from your version, but will give you a general idea of the advanced settings for sharing:

Hope that this contributes to and not confused you (this potential is why I hesitated to post this - either an earlier version) and helps you locate the CODEC of Compression/drop-down menu.

    Good luck

  • Size of minimum partition for recovery

Hi, I tried to install windows using HP recovery DVD (4 of them) on my 128 GB ssd, I got the error message saying that the minimum partition size is 140 GB and I can not continue, is it possible to get around this?

The capacity of the destination disk must be equal or larger space of original disc - unused space is not included. For example, if your current installation is on a hard drive of 320, but but is only using 50 GB of space on the hard drive it can be cloned to a 128ssd.

Have you set up the location of publication record as a location approved in your Flash Global security settings?  Otherwise, Google for information on how to do it.  This is probably the reason why your link does not work.

He must familiarize themselves with the sorting. It is easier than you may think.

Take a look at the article in the following link. After a first reading, ignore the first section with the chips and start over at "How sort."

    http://chrisramsden.vfast.co.UK/8_How_to_sort.html

The first bit will make more sense when you understand sort.

I suggest that you assign view | Sort by | The, new messages appear in the order that sort you have chosen.

If you have trouble finding what speaks of this article, perhaps your menus are disabled. Try these:

You could set up an Action to switch between display modes and trigger it with a shortcut, like the F key
