Resizing icons in breakpoints

I put a Facebook icon in my Contact Page and at each breakpoint, I need to re-place it on the page even though I have now in the footer.  However, when it is reduced in size, there is no so proportionately so that the breakpoints become narrower, the icon appears as a blue square - sometimes with only a portion of the white lettering.  If I increased the size of the logo on each breakpoint, I can still see that it has been reduced, not the full icon.

I also found this with a handwritten name, I wanted to put on the site.  The PNG/JPeg finally shows that half of the signature on some breakpoints, and if you enlarge it, you see more than half.

Why is this?

Well, have you really put compositions and all their items on the scale, not for crops / overflow?

  • Fullscreen menu: how to RESIZE for each breakpoint in the reagent?

I have a menu full screen-width in my site.

For each breakpoint, I want to the size of the menu to the width of the width of the breakpoint page and to create a mobile drop down when the size of the page becomes small to support the menu width to full screen.

PROBLEM: Even with the options 'Format text on current breakpoint' selected, when I resize the menu, each menu instance is resized. In the breakpoint, the narrowings of menu, while the smallest breakpoint, the menu is correct for the width of the page. When I hide the menu inside a breakpoint and add new menu in the hope of resizing for this breakpoint, double menus are added for each instance of breakpoint. Again, I selected on current breakpoint Format text. I like to keep my menu to full screen width.

    Most important breakpoint = good

Smaller breakpoint = impossible to resize without resizing of all instances of the menu

In the order in the menu was receptive you must use the method of uniform size.

  • display resizing icons

My displaying the desktop icons became huge.   Cannot reset the default icons. Tried through the resolution settings, via the parameters of energy across the screen and desktop.
    Need help please...

    Hello ShirleyRussell,

What version of Windows are you using?

If it is Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can change the icon of resize by pressing CTRL and scroll upwards or downwards with the mouse or trackpad.

In Windows 7, you can also hold the Ctrl key and press the sign more or less keys to change their sizing.

    UIS let know.

  • Resizing slideshow in breakpoints

    Hello

I'm resizing my Web site at different breakpoints to enable the display on the tablets and phones.  This is quite an arduous task!

One of my pages has a slide show that is a panel that spans the entire width of the browser in the middle of the screen.

Can someone tell me if there is a way that the images in the slideshow can adapt to the width of the screen automatically without having to put in breakpoints? I them used for the navigation buttons and logo but think that there must be a way to be able to make the images differently.

    Thank you very much.

To stretch wide full image browser, you must click on the small double arrow left or right of the stop bar.

  • How to resize slideshow in breakpoints?

As the slideshow widgets are not yet adapted in Muse CC 2016 it has bee recommended to resize a slideshow in each of the designated stopping points. Does anyone know the recommended procedure to achieve this? My layout starts with a 1200 px width and a standard slideshow (hero image and controls container below thumbnails). I have four breakpoints that reduce the size of phone 320 px.

There is a main container for the widget slideshow that you see a medium gray box around it. It includes the image of hero, controls, and the thumb container. You can enter this whole container 'box' and move the slide show but you it seems not possible to the size of the container any widget, I can only move around.

If I click a second time on the image of heroes that you have the four corner of the white adjustment handles that allow you to move and resize the image. BUT... I noticed that when I do this in one of the smaller breakpoints that it will also change, it appears in the original breakpoint (1200 px), and I don't want to do that.

So, I'm trying to learn the method the best and most direct way to resize the slide show and its parts in different breakpoints, without changing the way it appears in other breakpoints.

Anyone has experience working with slideshows in breakpoints in the new version of sensitive Muse?

As you are dealing with non-responsive elements, I recommend the approach I have described here: Re: combination of fixed and fluid page in a site width

If possible, keep your breakpoints set, and work from the largest to the smallest. Make sure that the width of the slideshow is at least slightly less than the width of breakpoint underneath. You need to resize all containers in each consecutive stop point, however. There isn't a way around that.

There is a main container for the widget slideshow that you see a medium gray box around it. It includes the image of hero, controls, and the thumb container. You can enter this whole container 'box' and move the slide show but you it seems not possible to the size of the container any widget, I can only move around.

That is right. The widget always behaved this way. You must resize all containers individually.

If I click a second time on the image of heroes that you have the four corner of the white adjustment handles that allow you to move and resize the image. BUT... I noticed that when I do this in one of the smaller breakpoints that it will also change, it appears in the original breakpoint (1200 px), and I don't want to do that.

This is unusual, and should ' t be the case. Can you send me your file of muse to take a peek?

Regarding your difficulty to grasp the new updates - I get it. I spent so much time trying to understand how the best book everything, and it does not require a change in thinking. Remember that just because something can be sensitive, does not mean that it should be. Sensitive breakpoints have a sense in some scenarios, and they are not in others. Thinking about breakpoints fixed as you ALT layouts and use them in a similar way. Use as little possible breakpoints. I got confused on how to use them by watching educational videos. They show the user an office site, cleaning up the break and a drop point, it. It is more a demonstration of how it works, that a better scenario practice. Just like you, imagine how you want the site to look into the desktop, Tablet and mobile and then build accordingly. Use sparingly responsiveness, where it makes sense. TI my current project, for example, I have three breakpoints: 1250, 800 and 500. My site won't break until it hits the variance of crazy resolution in mobile devices, so I have my minimum page on my BP size more small 320px, which my entire page is built to adapt to the value. In the case that someone is using a low-resolution screen, I have my adapted dimensioning, the value of the text elements, whereas they are attached in the rest of the site. In this way, I know that my site will not break until it hits 320px lower resolution, and then I asked my items just in case the responsiveness. Pepper responsiveness in an emergency plan, rather than building for him initially.

One last thing: don't forget that you can cut and paste items within a text box if you wish. They will be shuffle in rows like re-sizes of cans.

    Hello
I want to resize the icon of the commandImageLink.

Of course, I could directly resize the source image, but I want to do it programmatically.

I tried to adjust the width and height of the commandImageLink, but they do not affect the size of the icons.

I also tried surrounding with a < div > and setting the div height and width, but it does not work either.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

Well you can access what is inside the element (image in this case) through inlineStyle.

  • resize icons in the model selector

In the Pages, is it possible to resize the different options so that the page layouts are really visible?  And may my details automatically inserted in a new letter?

    Thanks for any help

The sizes of model displayed in the template chooser are set by the application. These are not customizable.

You can tell Pages via its preferences panel to always use a particular model at the launch. That will bypass the file on launch picker and introduce a new document based on the selected template. Your details should already be in your custom letter template, as no revision pages v5 has a native capacity of direct mail to automatically feed your information in a new letter.

  • How can I prevent sensitive resizing after a breakpoint?

I need my site to stop extending the content after 1280 breakpoint, just keep everything as-is, in place centered in the browser.  I can do it on a page of fluid width?  I already have the maximum width set to 1280 and always extends the design in the browser.

    Hi Tipps,

Make sure that the arrows at the left and right of the stop bar (set on the most important breakpoint) are oriented inward rather than outward.

  • No way to force an icon to resize its container?

I have a few buttons that have embedded icons.  However, I noticed that the height of the icon is greater than the height of the button, which actually spill over the edges.  How can I force the resizing icon stay in the dimensions of the button?

I don't think so, why don't you redimensionnerez the icons first.

  • WebWorks app icons

    Hi guys,.

I'm currently doing the application icon, looking through the documentation, you need 2 separate size icons:

    68 x 68 and 92 x 92.

I can find no reference to how to detect or to implement the sizes of different icons on the relevant devices? Is - this very taken care under the hood?

He specified also in the documentation: "icons of the application, create an icon file that does not exceed the recommended size for each BlackBerry device model. '"

Is necissary if the size of the icon is exactaly the same for several models?

Any help in how WebWorks handles this and if we can just stick with 2 icons would be greatly apprechiated.

    Thank you

    Mike B

You can never declare a size of icon of your application for the BlackBerry Smartphone.

You are better to use an icon that is the biggest icon supported for appliance different models you are targeting.  Reduce your icon on devices with a size of lower icon will look better than a little larger resizing icon for a display that supports larger icons in the home screen.

  • resize the window of the debugger javascript in acrobat

I feel stupid.  I am trying to learn adobe script.  I'm following Adobe web tutorial. (The tutorial screenshots have beautiful large windows.)  However, the window of the console shows only 40 characters on a line.  On this debug window, there is no resizing icon in the upper right corner of the window.  I tried right click and drag the sides, angles, high and low, but no luck. I get one arrow double-ended as it should be resized, but the plug-in window additional acrobat pro window full size, but the debug window is only 1/6th of this window.

I use a laptop with Vista Home Premium with Adobe Acrobat 9 with its latest updates.

I took a look at the general support group, but a few questions about the use of Adobe Acrobat.  I went back two months on the script group with no luck.

    Thank you

    That sounds right.

You can change 'Preferences' Acrobat and use a 3rd text part for editing JavaScript editor. I use TextPad.

If the debug window is filled with a lot of data, you can select all, copy and paste it into a text editor.

You can do the * window * resizable by assigning to the variable window. But
who * do not * scale the contents of the window. If you need the window
content at scale, look at the Flash or Director.

When I run in the Simulator, APP crash automatically. I have no more information about the errors. How can I solve this problem? Can someone help me? Thank you very much

@hmartinez do not select min OS 10.2.1 (10.3 will be fine).

The question is that if you select 2.0 or less and supported of the PlayBook as a device, we need to test the application on this platform. If it fails, the entire application will fail.

Please PM me your appID so I can study the issue further away.

Finally, app control may take up to 5 working days, but we do not believe that it takes this long. If you experience delays of 4 days (not counting weekends), I'd be happy as climbing as well.
