Restart the disk for Satellite S1400-253 s

My computer has been attacked by some virus hardcore, and so I decided to reconfigure my machine to start with a clean slate. However, I could not find the disc that came with my machine, because I recently moved to USA temporarily (and I probably forgot to bring with me, of course!) so I used my drive of roommates with windows, etc., that came with your dell computer.

Needless to say that my computer is not a return to normal and claims that he doesn't have a network card, while he was perfectly able to go on the internet before.

I tried to download the drivers from the site to the right of my pain, but nothing helped. Anyone know how I can get my hands on another drive to remake my machine, one that will have the drivers etc for my machine?

I put t know if you find a latest BIOS for this laptop, but if you want you can search on the European driver Toshiba in archive page.

  • Lost the disk for Satellite M115

Does anyone know if Toshiba M115 came with a driver and OS disk when it was purchased?
I need to restore my drivers and I can't find the disk and I don't remember having ever one.

If I haven't lost it, does anyone know if Toshiba never sells additional disks and for how long?

    Thank you!

    Hello

The M115 Sat seems to belong to the series of the Toshiba laptop we.
I m not very well, but I think the recovery disk came with the laptop.
Only a few new models of laptops are delivered without the recovery disk because these laptops supports a recovery option of HARD drive and in such cases, it is possible to create a recovery DVD own s.

You should be able to order the recovery of the ASP disk in your country.
But if this drive is no longer available, then you might try reinstalling the operating system using the Windows XP CD own. The drivers of Toshiba and tools are released on the Toshiba driver page we.

    Welcome them

Unfortunately, you will not be able to find this information. What you can do is to check this forum using the advanced search option in the hope that you find some similar discussions.

If you need a recovery disk, you have to options.
You can go to a local ASP and request a new or order you one directly from Toshiba.

  • Restart the VI for be new Tx params?

    Hello
I am new to the use of USRPs and have very little overall experience with Labview. I'm currently implementing frequency-hopping by the example of the transmitter of package USRP. I converted most of the transmitter to the constants options since I'm mainly interested in the frequency of change in appearance and included a button to change the frequency. The problem is that I need to stop and restart the VI for the USRP starts the frequency. I thought that there must be a way to reset the VI whenever changes frequency without having to manually stop/run, but so far I have failed to find it. Is there a way?

    Hey cynop,

Thank you attach your VI.  The first property node that you have inserted, you don't need.  You can wire the frequency of your structure to deal directly at the entrance of carrier frequency of the niUSRP configuration Signal.vi.  The property node that is inside the loop, this is what you need to change the frequency on the fly.  When you update the control of carrier frequency on your façade, the frequency of the carrier of your USRP updates also.  One thing to note is that the indicator of frequency forced on the front panel will not update.  You can shoot on the frequency of the carrier under pressure inside the loop of this indicator to update.  I do not recommend to do it right.  The amount of time it takes the driver to query the device for frequency can be enough time to cause a buffer overflow error.

    Download and run JDiskReport.

There are a number of things you can do to- temporarily - free up disk space.  The only real solution, however, is to get a larger hard drive.

    • You can run Disk Cleanup (start > run > cleanmgr > OK)
    • You can reduce the size allocated for the restoration of the system to about 1 GB (right click on desktop > properties > system restore > settings)
    • You can disable hibernation (if you don't use it) (right click on an empty spot on the desktop > properties > screen saver > power > Hibernate)
    • You can disable the indexing of the drive, which will also speed up your computer a bit (http://lifehacker.com/031440/turn-off-indexing-and-speed-up-windows-xp)
    • You can reduce the size of your Internet browser cache (depending on the browser that you use)
    • You can remove most of the $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx files $ following the directions here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Hotfix_backup.htm (read the warnings in the gray box first)

But none of these answers you will earn really large amounts of space for very long.  The term solution time is a bigger hard drive.

In the meantime, download and run JDiskReport, that will show you graphically what files take up more space and seem to so indicate what files to delete or uninstall applications.

  • I can't initialize the disk for my new external hard drive

I can't initialize the disk for my new external hard drive because the drop-down list in the Disk Management Console does not give me this option. I'm logged in as an administrator and running Windows XP.  The driver for the new hardware is not digitally signed because I can't initialize the disk.  So I can't get my new hardware to run.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the option "Initialize disk" in the Disk Management Console?

    Hello Honduras1,

Can you simply right-click and format everything first?  The drive must be formatted before use, make sure that you format NTFS.

    See you soon
