• To stop or restart Windows startup bypasses the user login screen.

  Windows XP. If I start windows from standby mode it stop on the login screen and allow users to log on. However if I do a restart or if I stopped for some reason, Windows start and pass the login screen and connect, in this case, the third user.  Recently, I had to replace the HHD due the diagnosis "come from failure" and had a problem with my profile to load when I tried to log on. Any ideas? Its most likely related to the way I have put power settings. I don't have what it takes to keep recording whenever I turned my head for a few minutes. (I found the setting for this situation). Any help/direction is appreciated in advance.

• Computer does not stop / restart Windows XP

  I used restoring the other day, after restoring I was unable to use the closing down or restart windows XP.  The computer would start close but when it came to the closing of the background, it would freeze just up and do not continue closing down. Apparently, I lost part of the closure program during the restoration and had since then reset my restore.  Is there anyway to fix this problem, a microsoft downlod or something.   I found this as a solution and to share it here, I still have questions, but thinking might help someone.

  Windows Vista and 7 update Reboot Loop Fix

  Symptom: You have a update that is causing Windows Vista or Windows 7, stuck in an infinite loop. The problem usually manifests as a "step 3 of 3:0 % complete...". "followed by a restart which starts at the exact same message, not allowing you to get on your account of connection or a desktop at all. It's a pain, and he doesn't stop, even in Mode without failure or advanced trying last good known Configuration in the start menu.

  Here is the short version for people who know how to get to tools to do this and if run System Restore from the installation DVD does not work: DELETE files

  Anyway you do it, this solution will stop the engine update loop reboot and let you return to your computer. You may need to make some corrections, additional or manual updates if you have problems, but unless your login screen and/or the Office should be accessible! The code the most common bsod I get is 0xf4. I put my money on half of the problem with the hard drive itself and the rest of the question was any other defective hardware. But ill be doomed if I buy another harddrive just to have more questions.

  Friday night, I went to bed with a working machine. I had a late 2013 Mac Pro BootCamp running with a Windows 10 Pro installed, the Build version before 1511.

  On Saturday morning, I woke up to my PC restart itself over and over again. It seems that Windows Update has decided to put a new version of Windows 10 on my machine without my knowledge. I discovered this after restoring an acronis backup (which took a few hours because of the number of incremental backups)

  Occasionally (about 1 in 20 restarts) it would blue screen with an error:

  SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (ACPI.sys)

  But the rest of the time he would just start, flash a window for a millisecond that says (I think) winlaunch.exe, then restart.

  I tried a lot of things to sort it, including:

  (1) restore from a backup, acronis to Friday morning, running sfc/scannow, and then runs the update

  (2) the creation of a recovery USB, enter the console, change the boot to legacy method, so I can F8, then goes into all security modes and mode of illegal product, but I can find where windows 10 now puts the boot log

  (3) restored from acronis, switched to mac, created a new bootcamp drivers usb, switched to windows and run the option 'fix drivers' before performing the update.

  Ntbtlog.txt is not anywhere on the partition. I ran a dir /s > a.txt then open this a.txt in Notepad and searched him.

  Woo Hoo, I've solved the problem!

  I uninstalled the drivers of graphics from AMD (with AMD Driver Cleaner) and Arcronis True Image Home 2013 at the same time, then let Windows Update run its course. Now I have a machine with Windows Version 1511 10!

  It took me 4 days of downtime...
