I think you misunderstand concepts.
(1) drop tablespace RTESTUSR including content and data files;
worth a command, it removes the tablespace named the database. There is nothing wrong with the database (even if it may be a logical (human) error). Restoration is used to fix the failings of the media. RMAN is just: ' RMAN-06019: could not translate tablespace name 'RTESTUSR' ', since there is no such tablespace in the actual database, the restore/recovery process fails.
(2) Unfortunately, you hide the version of your database. Up to 10 gr 2 tablespace point-in-time recovery can be used to retrieve the abandoned spaces, 11 GR 1 material and higher it is possible.
And - TSPITR - requires a bit more than "set until...". ». Check the version of your unknown database will have.

vFoglight calculates different logical disk space
Hello
I discovered that I have several logical disks on virtual machines, where vFoglight does not have full capacity, for example, I have a virtual machine assigned a 40 GB drive, which only appears in vFoglight with 39.9 Go. Someone had this problem also and probably help out me?
Interestingly enough, this does not happen on all disks.
Best regards
hEINER
Hello
found the answer on my own. To calculate the space actually used disk to a virtual machine, you must calculate the size given in the vmdkFileLayouts.
I use a groovy for this script:
Parameter: vm Monitoring: VMWVirtualMachine
VM = args ['vm'];
vmdkList = vm.get ("vmdkFileLayouts");
total def = new Double ("0");
for vmdk (in vmdkList)
{
Total += vmdk.get ("diskSize", specificTimeRange);
}
return total/1048576;
What gives the total disk space used for all files vmdk for this virtual machine in MB.
Best greetings, hEINER

exclude alerts for DVD players on the rules available to the logical disk space
Hello
I created a new rule to monitor space available in megabytes using the topology of logical disk for my windows Hosts. The rule is also trigger alerts for CD/DVD players. I need exclusion has go them of monitoring/alert. Please guide if you have an idea of how it can be ruled out starting / ignored.
Query scope I use: LogicalDisk: host.agents.type {'Active Directory', 'ExchangeAgent', 'WindowsAgent'} with the spaceAvailable property. Alert reader DVD are ignored if I use the property capacityavailable of logical disk. But it shows the free space available in % I need.
Return to Administration-> tooling-> Console of Script and paste the following text in the search box:
Logical disk: (host.agents.type {'Active Directory', 'ExchangeAgent', 'WindowsAgent'}) and (detail.writable! = false)
"Do the motion" SELECT and let us know if this succeeds.

Pavilion 15-P203AU: D: DISK SPACE almost sold out on NEW Pavilion Notebook
Hi, I just bought a laptop Pavilion. When I checked the drivers and devices, I noticed that I have only 2.77 GB on 24.7 GB of free space on RECOVERY [D]. Is this normal? The D drive should be THAT complete the first DAY of use?
I don't know a thing about this area of computers & would be very grateful if you can keep the very simple answer.
Also, when I bought the computer, that he was sold me as having 725 gig of memory, the Windows disk [C] is showing 633 GB remaining 672 GB remaining. Have I been misled on the memory card?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Yep, that is correct of all the other files will be stored on drive C, this disc is simply used for recovery files it will get more or less complete, it will stay the same, no matter the age, your PC is.

I receive a "Low disk space" message and to free up space (d) car which seems full of backup files dating from when I got the laptop. Now I also have the message 'the last backup impossible' because I don't have enough space on this drive. He had originally 110 GB Local disk (d :)) and it fell to 7.44 MB of free space.) Can I remove the back of the 'safeguards' located in the 3 files and start on the 17/04/2008 right up to 2011-01.05 and just keep the last backup or removing the back will cause problems? Can someone help thank you.
Hi KarenRoss56,
You can try to remove the old files of backup from 2008 to 2010 and check.
Note: When you delete these files and later if you perform a restore, you will not be able to get previous data. If you need one of these files, you can transfer the files to an external drive before you delete the system files.
You can also use Disk Cleanup to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run more quickly.

If time machine is incremental how it removes previous versions when the disk is full, without breaking the chain, so do not be able to restore the file with any changes made since the full backup first file...
If the TM drive storage is full TM automatically deletes the version the oldest files for the new incremental backups can be made. Thus, in this case you cannot restore the versions that TM deleted because it takes more storage.

Backup to external hard drive on iCloud >; >; used internal hard disk space
Is there a way to backup disks external hard on iCloud without iCloud with disk space hard internal iMac?
I tried an external hard drive to backup to iCloud and although it does not copy in iCloud. It also eliminates the same amount of available space on the hard drive of my iMac.
Does this mean that iCloud only backs up files on an internal drive so it copies them from external drives to the internal main? Is this a problem external disk hard/iCloud? Is it possible to set this up properly?
The files are logical X. This could be a logic X / question iCloud? I know the hype for iCloud said any file, but no logic X icon in the system preferences iCloud box. Set to true any file ?
Thanks for any information you have.
Data in iCloud cannot synchronize from an external hard drive.
iCloud does not synchronize data from logic X.

Someone at - it ideas? Backup disk space is only 5% full, so it can't be the issue. Thank you very much.
You should not keep emails you need in the trash folder / deleted. This file can be used as a temporary operation to get back accidentally deleted messages, it is not really a place to organize emails you don't want to lose. Trash is the unwanted emails. This folder must be emptied and compacted on a regular basis.
You don't say how you save, or what you save.
You don't need to save the program Thunderbird - this may be the reason for the error message. you need to back up the Thunderbird profile folder; the two are not in the same place.
You closed Thunderbird? If not, close it before creating the backup. (This could be the reason for the error message.)

IM always get "low disk space" and the backup file always fails and recovery D
always get low D recovery and backup disk space the files always cleaning disc fails is no help either
You are NOT supposed to file backups on ypur recovery Partition D.
Your recovery partition D is implemented by the manufacturer of your computer in the event of serious problems in your system.
You use it to restore your system.You are NOT supposed to touch it... to not add anything in it or remove anything from him.
You call the manufacturer of the computer, tell them the situation...1. ask for a set of recovery DVD, if you don't have a game yourself. The game is essential to restore your computer in case where it breaks down, and you screwed up the recovery partition which is unusable for recovery.
2. ask to talk to a technician. Ask the person how to remove backup files or elements that are NOT supposed to be there.
They, the manufacturer of computer created the recovery partition, they know how to take care of it.
Let them teach how you to.Buy an external hard drive and use it for backups of the file *.

The weekly backup of Rescue and Recovery has suddenly started to take hours when I haven't changed anything and uses a large amount of hard disk space. I tried to remove some previous backups and it and it seemed to work OK and then all of a sudden decides to do the same thing. I tried a previous restore point and it helped for a while and now just made a backup taking 4 hours and 20 GB of hard drive space. It is a fault and has nothing to do?

Cannot complete the Windows backup "there is not enough disk space.
Original title: backup error
If you use windows 7 home premium backup & restore to backup errors program and says that there is not enough disk space when there are 1.2 to and the space required is 60 GB. Any suggestions?
Check very carefully that the insufficient space, the error message can be generated by the disk you want to save not necessarily the destination drive.
Backup Windows uses the VSS service who need free space on the drive to work. The cause is a lack of space on the system reserved partition and is generated by the VSS recorder.

Management of the backup history file using disk space
Original title: file history
I have a HD 500 GB partitioned into two 250 GB drives. One contains Windows 8.1, the other contains Windows 7. I recently ran history of files on the disc 8.1 and it is now complete. I also ran the Windows 7 disk backup and it is also now full. Where can I find these backups and delete files? Most urgent concern is Win 8.1 because I added just the update and was about to move everything to the new OS and player, that I am now unable to do. Looking forward to getting help earlier. Thank you

Also, the Windows 8.1, you can use file history cleaning to remove older Versions of files. Follow these steps:
a. open the Control Panel (display the icon) and click on the file history.b. on the left of the file history window, click avancΘs.
c. under the link of section, click on the cleaning of the versions of Advanced settings .
d. in the drop-down menu, select the exact age that you want to remove the versions of files and records, then click Cleans toward the top. Follow the instructions on the screen.
