Restore accidentally deleted user profile in Windows 7 via Explorer.

Hello

Yesterday I left my PC opened up before my 5 year old on screen was Explorer/C /properties / Security tab and my little one deleted ("JNT" created my me) by the user and the authorized user. My data is not lost. I still have the SID in the registry. No system restore does not work either drive C is accessible when I connect through "JNT". During this time I created the copy of all the JNT files to the new user. JNT not having and all rights of the administrator now. How can I recover the old JNT to funciton user account. and how so authorized user account.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, if you don't have any useful restore points so I don't know any way to restore deleted profiles. You probably have to do:

  1. Logging in as an administrator account.
  2. Create new accounts.
  3. Restore your backup files.
  4. Set the permissions to give access to new accounts in the restored files.

I wanted to access some downloaded files that was stored in a temp folder. I did have access to this folder so I changed my folder option to be able to view hidden directories and files. He said that I had to be an administrator to do and I said OK. He then proceeds to change the attributes on thousands of files. In the end, I got is more access to my file and the original files, I became a new person, so to speak. I can manually view my old records, but I want to restore my old user profile, because this new profile is created a lot of problems with previously installed programs. I have two NTUSER. DAT files in my user C:\User\John folder. The dates are when the computer has been initially implemented 16/08/2012 and when the profile changes yesterday 07/02/2013. How to restore the old profile (from 16/08/2012)?

    Thank you

    Hi Johnny,.

Thanks for choosing Windows and thank you for providing an opportunity to help you.

According to the description, you have problems with the restoration of the old user profile.

1 have been connected as a standard user?

    2. What are thousands of files you're talking about if you want to have access to the temporary folder?

This problem can occur because of corruption of the user profile.

Method 1: delete the new NTUSER. DAT folder and check if it helps.

Method 2: Perform the System Restore to an earlier date and check if it helps.

    Corrupted user profile

I have a corrupt user profile.  Windows XP. When I add a new can be the same, or should be different.  And the user's profile should match the user ID?

If the profile has recently become corrupted, you can probably get the same user by performing a system restore operation:

"Windows XP problems if your profile is corrupted"

Otherwise, you will need to create another user and copy your data.  The simplest procedure is here:

    Hello

Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore deleted user account in Windows XP. However, you can use your favorite search engine to download third party software that may help you to restore the account deleted.

    Note:

Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • It is easy to accidentally delete a file in Windows 7 parent

original title: WARNING - it is easy to accidentally delete a file in Windows 7 parent

    Hello

    WARNING!

There is a minor problem with the GUI Windows 7 that can have catastrophic consequences.

If you use Windows Explorer and you click on a subfolder name in the left pane (view of folders), then the name of the folder is highlighted in blue. If you click then on the name of the folder parent in the same pane, the name of the parent folder is highlighted in blue, and the name of the subfolder in this pane is is more highlighted. However, the name of the subfolder in the right pane is highlighted in blue.

From there, it is easy to think that you have selected in the right pane subfolder. But if you select this option to delete (and do not read carefully the confirmation message) you will delete all of the parent folder.

In Windows 2003, this was not the case - the currently selected folder has always only stressed.

Can it be corrected as soon as possible?

  • How to restore accidentally deleted dial color

I accidentally deleted my iWatch color dial.  How can I restore it?

    Hello

It is not possible to directly restore a deleted custom dial.

However, you can easily add a new color dial and then repeat the customizations:

    • When displaying the time on your watch: firmly on the face of the watch, swept to the left until you reach the new watch face option > press the new button '+' > highlight color (using the digital Crown) dial > press to select it.

If you want, you can customize can also watch face complications.
