Restore pirate ultimate from windows 7 to windows 7 starter edition

Hello guys,.

I have problems with my laptop recently. I hope someone can help me to solve it.

I got windows 7 starter original once I bought my laptop and updated computer upgraded to windows 10. My laptop has been repaired and the store said it is better to use windows 7 because windows 10 is heavy for my laptop and so I Yes.

What bothers me is that the shop has changed my windows windows 7 ultimate and it is PIRATE!

I didn't know the store actually change to windows 7 ultimate PIRATE!

So, is it possible for me to recover my windows starter 7 original? It's a bit annoying to use the pirate version >.

Furthermore, I use Dell laptop.

Thank you very much.

You can perform a destructive factory restore, using the hidden disk partition. Consult the manufacturer's web page for instructions on how to start the process.

I updated level of windows 7 starter edition to professional but I want to go back to the starter. How do I go about it. I also want to know how can I get my product number and the activation number.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Samsung: Press the F4 key to the Samsung logo when you turn first.

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

How downgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows XP Home Edition?  I understand that what is happening back, but my printer & a lot of programs that I can not afford to replace now is not compatible with Win7.  I tried to insert the WinXP disc, but he says the facility is "blocked due to compatibility issues".

    Hello

To install windows XP on windows 7, you need to start your computer while the cd is in the drive. This will allow the system prompts you to "Press any key to boot from the CD-ROM.." and then follow the instructions accordingly.

    I hope this helps.

  • Upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Ultimate

If I upgrade Windows 7 Starter to Ultimate a CD/USB/HDD, is it possible to save all the programs/applications so that I do not need to re - install again?

You will not be able to do.

You must use the product key and to make an Express upgrade.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

  • Can I downgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows XP Professional

QUESTIONS: 1) can I demote a machine Win7 Starter purchased through package of retail full license, never installed, XP Pro OS?  Assume that both are 32-bit.  I was thinking of buying one of these netbooks cheap in Walmart stores that are Windows 7 upgrade option to Windows 8 (which I do not wish to use), and experiment.  If Win7 is proving to be as disastrous as I wait, I want to install a new copy of the new detail of full XP Pro including Service Pack 3 (which has never been installed on any computer), to downgrade from Windows 7. I've never used in triplicate.
The machine is Acer Aspire One with Windows 7 Starter edition, on sale at Walmart for only $228.  They have other editions of Windows, I could buy instead, if the Starter Edition is not eligible for a downgrade.
    2) do you anticipate problems of license?  Do not talk about compatibility, as that varies depending on the machine.  It's just that the installation with MS products is always also annoying complicated and always associated with a licensing problem.  I can't guess at what these problems are, they are never what I expect.  Where the question.
Backstory: I am wary of XP Professional updating to Windows 7, due to the many people experience incompatibilities.  I ran the Win7 Upgrade Advisor, and he has not yet detected what third-party software was running on my machine in his analysis, other than common programs of MS and stuff from the internet.  So I have ZERO faith it will be compatible with my XP software current and material, so 32-bit (which I use now), or 64-bit (which one of my machines can take in charge, but instead, 32-bit XP Prof OS is installed and running).
It cost me about $100K of my time to switch to XP, in 2005; I just went through two own XP installed on two of my other machines.  Recovery was not possible.  Cost me three months of my life, these facilities.  Wouldn't do it again.  It is unnecessarily complex.
So I have to check the effectiveness of Win7.  And if she is not enough justify using, as I hope - I have a lot of detail that new (well, once again) never used XP Professional OS bought in a store, that I can use to downgrade.  ("not OEM, not upgrade or academic, etc. so the full XP license is valid for each packet.)  I understand very well that support ends in April 2014 and don't care if it stops.  What I care about is running my business that threatens to Win7, because it changes the interface and eliminates a bunch of features that have been very productive in XP Pro.
Of course, my impressions have not been tested on a live installation.  ERGO this post.  For me, it's a $100,000 decision, because it is the cost of my time if I deploy Win7.  Sorry for ranting, but I need to explain the reasons for downgrading in context.  Thank you for your time!

I guess I do not understand you. If you have a version of Xp retail packaging, you can install it on any computer you want. Nothing MS or anyone else can say about it.

As others have noted you might encounter a driver for some of your hardware problem is not not compatible wth Xp. The only way to know for sure, or I should say the best way, is to install Xp and discover.

If it was me I would make sure that the computer has a restore disk or a partition to reinstall Win 7 if Xp didn't work. If none of those who were present I would clone the drive hard while Win 7 was still about this. Better safe than sorry.

Finally, I would make sure that I got a usb Ethernet card so that you could make sure you have the ability to connect when the net card driver was not installed with Xp...

    The upgrade to Windows 7

Upgrading to Windows 7 from Windows 7 Starter will mess up to my laptop?

You can do an Express upgrade - it's a quick and easy process. All programs and files will remain on the computer, there is no drive necessary and it takes about 10 minutes.

    Express Upgrade purchase

Type of upgrade Express in the box files and research programs in the start menu and click the Windows Anytime Upgrade.  From there, you can buy an upgrade from Starter to a higher version of Windows 7. Then you can enter your Express Upgrade product key and perform a simple upgrade. Online Anytime Upgrade is not available in all countries.

  • I have an Acer computer I want to do a total restore. It came with windows 7 starter edition, and then I bought Microsoft word for it. If Microsoft word will lose if I do the restoration?

I have an Acer computer I want to do a total restore. It came with windows 7 starter edition, and then I bought Microsoft word for it. If Microsoft word will lose if I do the restoration?

If you purchased Word on CD, it's no big deal; just reinstall it after the factory restore. If it was bought online, copy the file downloaded to a CD and then reinstall it later.

Is there a particular reason, why you want to do a restore complete? Have you problems? If so, you can try asking here on how to fix them and do not have to do a restore, reinstall all your programs and all of the updates and service pack 1.

  • The upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Professional on a Netbook

I recently bought a Dell Mini 1012 and I think to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Professional. I have the code key for Windows 7 Professional from MSDNAA or something like that. My question is, if I upgrade Windows 7 Starter to professional, I should install the new drivers for the netbook or those already installed for Starter would work with professional? I would use Windows Anytime Upgrade.

Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Starter share the same driver model because its the same code base, so you shouldn't have to get new drivers.

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version upgrading or complete (MSDNAA License are), you can use the product key and the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Professional. Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, follow the on-screen Wizard, enter the key to Windows 7 Professional on demand, click on, and then restart your computer when you are prompted. Less than 10 minutes, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional and your files and settings retained.

  • Upgrade Windows XP home to Windows 7 starter edition netbook

I have a netbook HP 110 supplied with XP Home installed, how can I get an upgrade from Windows 7 starter for her?  I realize that XP will soon be deleted by Microsoft and my Netbook will have an unsupported operating system.

You can't buy the Starter, but you can buy Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. XP is supported until 2014.

If you don't have a DVD drive, you will need to use USB.

USB Flash ISO - if you downloaded the ISO file and you want to install Windows 7 using a flash drive:

Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool allows you to create a copy of your ISO of Windows 7 file on a Flash DRIVE or a DVD. To create a bootable DVD or USB flash drive, download the ISO file and then run the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool. Once this is done, you can install Windows 7 directly from the Flash DRIVE or a DVD. If you have a 4 GB or more large USB key (or external hard drive), and the computer can boot from USB:

    http://store.Microsoft.com/help/ISO-tool

USB stick installation files - WinToFlash is a practical application that will help you transfer your Windows 7 installation from a hard drive or DVD to USB flash in a few steps. That you can install Windows 7 from a flash card, USB stick, HDD, etc to your computer or netbook. If you have downloaded the .box file extract everything first. If you have a 4 GB or more large USB key (or external hard drive), and the computer can boot from USB:

    Installation custom own steps

    Time to use:

Switching from XP to 7, or not supported in place upgrade paths (ex: Vista Home Pro 7)

A Windows system to 32 bit on a 64 bit system, or change the language

Don't want to make a room upgrade, or if you want a fresh install / clean

You can use a Full Windows 7 or upgrade disk to do a custom clean install. This will remove all of your programs, but you can save your files and settings to external storage before doing so. You will need to reinstall all your programs after installing Windows 7. Here are the steps:

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor to see if there are known problems that might affect installation and if you can install the 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/downloads/Upgrade-Advisor

    2. backup all your files and settings to avoid losing documents, photos and other information. Windows Easy Transfer is a free tool to copy files (not programs) from your PC and then transfer back after installation of Windows 7. If you don't want to use Windows Easy Transfer, you can copy your files to a Flash DRIVE or CD/DVD. Note: The easy transfer will not work when changing languages, or when moving from 64 bit to 32 bit (it will work ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit).

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/Windows-easy-transfer

    3. find the discs installation and license/product associated to all your programs keys, because you have to manually reinstall all programs. If you have downloaded some Internet programs you can redownload them.

    4. place the Windows 7 disc in your DVD player (or use your USB). A window should appear from the installation process, when asked the type of installation do you want click on custom (advanced option). Note: 32 to 64-bit requires restart and boot from the DVD.

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, you can use Windows Easy Transfer (or a different backup method you used) to restore your files & settings and use your installation disks to reinstall all your programs. Then you're done - take advantage of Windows 7.
