  If you click on 'Restore the standard fonts', fonts that are not included in the OS X systems is placed in a "fonts folder (deleted) next to the fonts folder.

  but I'm not aware on how they have been implemented.

  I think that most people will write their own serialization code to convert objects into a form of byte (as you saw csv, or own format or XML) and then put that somewhere - like your own server for application aware network or SD card.  This approach works, regardless of the method, users of user to switch devices.

  Restoration of no.. A is all or nothing. Assuming that it is a third-party application, you can remove one application and reinstall it from the App Store.

  This has indeed been discussed previously, but in order to restore a happenings widget, tap the desk in the empty space, hold it down until the meny appears. You then choose widget and happenings. This should restore your facebook updates.

  Mac OS X is a multi-user system. The user files are stored in separate directories for system files. System files are not changed by your settings that apply to them in system folders, your settings are stored in preferences files in your own user ID.

  Feel free to re - download or restore from backup any version of Firefox that you like. But their preferences are in your own ID user, not in Applications. Download a new version does not change your settings at all.

  I am trying to create a smart query to a file. According to the standard documentation.
  
  Place the display in query mode
  Enter: one in the area you want to enter the smart to query
  run the query
  
  This should then open a pop-up window with the where clause of the query folder and there you can change the SQL directly.
  
  Except when I run the query the where the pop - up does not appear and receive following error message.
  FRM-40367: invalid criteria in ITEM_NUMBER field in the rendering of the example.
  
  This same message for other fields and I tried on other forms also.
  
  Does anyone know if the smart mark feature is still active and if so, how this feature is enabled? Applications release 11.5.10

• Support/best practices to restore the application of planning between servers

  I have two servers with Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 (prod and dev) I want to copy the application called "BFS" Production of "NewBFS" - Dev server.
  
  As directed by our consultants, they said to do the following:
  
  1. backup the repository database that contains the application production BFS
  2 do a restore of the .bak file to "NewBFS" on the dev server database
  3. resync orphaned connections (from sql server connections and database connections)
  4 Ouvrezunesession planning via the default admin user ID
  5. go in the app's settings and change the URL
  6 enter the Shared Services URL
  7 manage the database
  8 check all the boxes and click Refresh
  9 go to SSP and resynchronize the native directory users
  
  However then try to connect in planning with something other than «admin", we receive an error «user xx is not configured...» »
  
  From my experience of db user tables are either still referencing production and/or do not have resynced correctly.
  
  If long story short... I can restore a planning application to another server, and if so what is the supported/best practices?

  XML is nice because you can edit in a text editor and it is relatively readable.  I never liked object streaming because it does not appear to age.  But I could be updated.  Database is too cumbersome to install.  But I've never tried an integrated db.

  JavaFX introduces almost nothing for it.  However, most of the means of the 'old' is always possible.  You're probably better off doing what you usually did before.

  Not new JavaFX, an alternative that isn't used, but a lot is the Java preferences API. I don't think that should make your easy editing in a test of the text editor, but if not, you might consider it.

  HTML5 local storage functions are implemented in Web for Java 8 mode.  There are no public Java API created to access the local storage used by WebView JavaFX HTML5 (I know), so to use it, you must create a WebView and access it's JavaScript API.  So, it would be a strange thing to do.

  If you have some sort of connected app, you can save the State if the cloud (I really hate that term) - things like s3 work well for storing things.

  It works even worse with JavaFX. JavaFX properties are often used in JavaFX applications to store the State of enforcement.  JavaFX properties are not serializable, as they do not implement the Serializable interface.

  Embedded DBs such as H2 are very easy to use JavaFX.

  For some applications, persistent in a local database integrated state storage is a good option.  Depends on the app so considerably.

  We have a few Oracle EBS Financials Interfaces, some of them important data from other legacy applications and others send data from Oracle Apps to existing systems.
  
  Now I wan to see if Oracle ODI (or indeed no matter which component of middleware Oracle Fusion including BPEL, EBS) can subistitute these existing interfaces.
  
  A leagcy systems is to be replaced by a new system and so any change in the data/database model. Now, we have to rewrite the code complete interface as well on the new system and also on the side of Oracle Apps. The current mode of communication between Oracle Apps and the old system is through DB Link and so these 2 systems are tightly coupled.
  Now, in the advent of the substitution of the old system, it is originally a work any re-development next to oracle EBS so applications.

  I just finished a project all EBS using ODI implement interfaces and there's a cutting expressive time cost of development and most importantly, change impact assessments once ODI draw each column (as source or target) through the whole of the project.

  If good ODI architecture is deployed, it is possible to break the rules if necessary, and then just change the "connectors" for each model if they change, leaving the main intelligence in the Middle, there means that, in a process like the one described you, could be possible change only the code that connect to the model once it has been changed.
