    Hello

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

Am sorry to know that you are unable to boot the system, and you get an error: 0xc000000f.

This error can occur if some files are corrupted, or if you have made changes to your computer.

Did you change to your system, the hardware and/or software, before this problem?

  • How to restore windows ME for the first day that I pay for it.

    1. I try to restore windows, but it will do. I have a saying massage low disk he had to have some SPACS and won't do a thing.

Make sure that you have backed up everything you want to record.  When installing, it gives you the option to format the drive?  If so, select this option and it clears the record of everything and give you plenty of space to install.

If you have already saved the data you want to save, and then delete the data.  Do a full of all disk cleanup.  Uninstall 3rd third-party programs that you had added to the system - as much as necessary.  It, until you create enough space for the installation works.

I don't know if you can boot from a Windows ME disk to access the recovery options (I never really used this version).  If so, try to do this, and then select command prompt in service options (if it offers this option) and use to format the hard drive completely. That erases everything and you should have enough space to re - install.  If this is not the case, the method above should work later depending on the amount of space is required.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Restore the system to the original settings

I'm trying to restore my computer to original settings to overcome a Trojan horse that has hijacked my Internet browser. When I use the restore option, it only allows me to come back in 3 months and then tells me that the parameters are then the same as today. How to restore original system checkpoint system - for when I bought the computer in March 2003? Thank you much for the help.

    Hello

If your dining options offers more restore points, then there is no chance of working with this function.

So if you want to retrieve the original settings, you must recover your system with the supplied restore CD.

One of the worst virus I've never erased from my computer and caused a huge problem.

  • Clueless users accidentally restore their machines to the factory settings. How is that possible?

I had one up to four cases where users have restored their machines to the factory settings. These users know nothing about computers and appear to be shocked as much as me on the fact that it has been restored. By default, all windows restore features are disabled by group policy which covers everyone. This means that they are using the Dell restore feature on their machines and unknowingly restore their systems. It only happens on newer Dell computers that we began to receive that comes with Windows 7.

The last of them was the straw that broke the camels back. She said she kept tripping his power strip that caused here system constantly crash. I don't know who got the windows of catering for here to push blindly. She does not deny that she does nothing wrong and now trying to blame us (IT Dept) for the system being reset.

Is it possible that the System Restore automatically after constant incidents or the user must press a button to get there? Questions that you need to restore, I see that there may be a restoration to a simple pressure to default settings. Or am I wrong?

I found as follows to disable the system restore feature Dell and will apply to all new machines. I searched for examples of what happens to others but have not turned to the top of any "accidental restores.

    wesodo,

System Restore should not be the problem, something has caused the shutdown of the system. Try to run full diagnostics, press F12 on startup and report to the back of any error message.

Since you are the it Department, maybe delete the original image, given that you should have drives for the operating system for each system. If no disk were made, the attempt to read...

Windows 7 - IMPORTANT Windows 7 to create backup discs

I guess that when the system crashed, he triggered the problem with starting the system. The person should have come to you at this moment there, but didn't. Then they tried to startup repair, when they were invited, then it did not work, then, you are prompted to restore the original image system. If the original image is deleted, then they will have to come to you for help.

  • Turning or turn off the features on my HP computer that has Vista Premium 64-bit; you need the original settings?

I need the original settings for the correct positions of what blanks or who checked;  I tried to solve a problem with the installation of turbo tax and had problem with .net 3.5? -made some changes and now my printer is not working and so on!  I just want to put them back where they should be;  I bought the Windows 7 upgrade, but I'm afraid to try to install it before you can resolve this problem.  Help?

This is a general guide to the features of the program & http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/181884-programs-features-disable-enable.html

If you have a real cd MS Vista you can allways repair your installation.

  • Recently changed the screen resolution. Said Yes when asked if I wanted larger icons on the new resolution. You want to return to the original settings.

Sytem restore tells me that no changes.  Which is bullshit as when I went back to smaller resolution icons have been spaced more far and the gray area at the top of the screen did not return to small.  This means that I have to use the first symbol to minimize, and then right-click to get on the net.  The square and the cross are off the screen.

    Hello Elenoe,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

Not positive I understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish, however for the two questions you have with the larger icons and minimizing Internet Explorer I'll give you some steps to resolve.

    Large icons

-Right-click Law Office > click Properties > click on settings tab > click on advanced > click on the general tab (if we by default)
-Under view > compensates for the ppp settings.

    Internet Explorer minimizing

From your description, it sounds like your Internet Explorer is beyond the edge of the screen.

-Right click on the icon to the taskbar for Internet Explorer > click enlarge

Maximize your screen to the right size?

If the minimal State, you can't get the edges in order to size the window try:

-Right click on the icon to the taskbar for Internet Explorer > click size > press your up, down, left, or right arrow key to select which edge you need to move.

For example, if you move the right edge: press your right arrow button > by using the left and right arrow keys move the right edge of the window, and when finished press on enter

    Hope this helps
