RestrictedVersionFault then he tried to create a snapshot of the CLI
I try to create a snapshot of a computer virtual hosted by a server ESXi 4.1 using the CLI from a Windows PC.
The command I issue sounds like
VSphere C:\Programmi\VMware\VMware CLI\bin > vmware - cmd.pl - H "192.168.1.1" - U root "/ vmfs/volumes/datastore1/New Machine.vmx Virtual Machine virtual/New" create snapshot "snapshot1" "Snapshot created by Marius da" 0 0
The error I get is:
Fault:
SOAP fault:
-----------
Error string: error. RestrictedVersion.summary
Lack of details: RestrictedVersionFault
Read the other posts in this forum, I suspect that the problem is related to the free license that I use: is this correct?
Is there any other possible reason, perhaps related to the syntax I used?
If so, is there another way to create a snapshot from a command line?
Concerning
Marius
Hi Marius1,
ESXi free edition is limited to read only RCLI. That sounds like the problem.
If you have access to the console, you can run the command directly on the console.
Give it a whirl on the free edition to see if it works.
1. you must first find the id of the virtual machine virtual computer by running "vim - cmd vmsvc/getallvms".
(Use the id of the virtual machine, you want instant and enter it in the command in step 2)
2. create the snapshot by running "vim - cmd /vmsvc/snapshot.create
Thank you Nick.
for example, vim - cmd /vmsvc/snapshot.create 16 VMSnapshot SnapShotBeforeUpgrading true.

'Create a snapshot of the Virtual Machine' suspended the process - how to kill?
I tried to rename a virtual machine when I received a message from VCenter that "another task is already underway."
I did some research and found that the virtual machine, I am trying to rename is currently creating a snapshot of the Virtual Machine. Or - at least the host thinks Yes.
The snap was initiated by vpxuser about 20:00 in the night a few days - and is still ongoing. I can't kill him since the VIC when it is directly attached to the host.
Looking to my data warehouses - I don't see that he actually created the snap, because I see no 0000001 or something like that. At this point, I don't like, I don't know why he even launched the snap in the first place.
Is there a way I can kill that process with the help of the console? It's hosted on vSphere 4.
Sven
You have restarted these services on the host computer?
service mgmt-vmware restart
restarting the service vmware-vxpa

Get the 500 error trying to create a table using the REST API
Hello
I tried to create a table using the REST API for Business Intelligence Cloud, but I got 500 Internal Server Error for a while now.
Here are the details that I use to create a table.
and the json to create the schema that I use is
[{'Nullable': [false], 'defaultValue': 'dataType' [null],: ['VARCHAR'], 'precision': [0], 'length': [18], 'columnName': ["ROWID"]}]
, {'Nullable': [true], 'defaultValue': 'dataType' [null],: ['VARCHAR'], 'precision': [0], 'length': [18], 'columnName': ['RELATIONID']},

I tried this using postman and code, but I always get the following response error:
Error 500 - Internal server error
Of RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol - HTTP/1.1:

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented him from meeting the demand.
I am able to 'get' existing table schemas, delete the tables, but I'm not able to make put them and post operations. Can someone help me to identify the problem, if there is no fault in my approach.
Thank you
Romaric
I managed to create a table successfully using the API - the only thing I see in your JSON which is different from mine is that you have square brackets around your values JSON where I have not. Here is my CURL request and extract my JSON file (named createtable.txt in the same directory as my CURL executable):
curl u [email protected]: password UPDATED h x ' X-ID-TENANT-NAME: tenantname ' h ' Content-Type: application/json '-binary data @createtable.txt https://businessintell-tenantname.analytics.us2.oraclecloud.com/dataload/v1/tables/TABLE_TO_CREATE k

Hi all
I'm trying to convert a physical Windows 2008 R2 (SP1) virtual, using Vmware vCenter Converter Standalone version 5.5 build 1362012, it fails at 1% (after around 40mins) with the following message
Failed: Failed to create a snapshot VSS of the source volumes. Error code:
2147754758 (0 x 80042306).
Windows systems has some LUN (4 x each various size GB) San, being the GUID (GPT) Partition Table. I went through the wizard as a general rule, by selecting "edited on the machine", a player selected vmware "vmware workstation" or another vmware virtual machine destination 6.0.x and the location of the target being a LUN with 500 GB of space.
Now for the data to be copied I selected 3 LUN (on a database resides) and put the 'Size' option (but I tried to keep the size of the various passes) to save space.
Looking through the logs, I see the following errors

I wonder if the converter is not able to work on the GPT partitions? (I think I saw some discussion of the community on this problem using v.5.1, but using 5.5 should be resolved?)
Any help is appreciated. Thank you
Your problem is with VSS, it is probably the lack of space, to seek solutions and similar problems.
Errors that you see are expected, we need a full newspaper bundle for investigation and don't warry on GPT disks, they are supported with converter 5 +.

Get NPES trying to create a line of the iterator of table on the loading of the page.
Hi allI'm new to ADF and try to learn from its concepts. I've created a workflow with the train and using 7 jspx pages as the train stops. When I move from one stop to the next stop, the data are made to the database.
My use case is, I want to fill an iterator of table on the loading of the page based on the data provided on the previous stop.
I tried to use the code to find the iterator and create the line the view object in support Builder bean as well as file impl application module(call the executable action method) but every time I got the same null pointer exception.
The code used for creating line iterator:
BindingContext bindingContext = BindingContext.getCurrent ();
BindingContainer DCBindingContainer = (DCBindingContainer) bindingContext.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();
IdIterator DCIteratorBinding = bindingContainer.findIteratorBinding("iteratorName");ViewObject vo = idIterator.getViewObject ();
Line rw = vo.createRow (); It is the line where I'm getting null pointer exception.
Trace of the exception:

at oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowSetImpl.createRow(ViewRowSetImpl.java:2514)
at oracle.jbo.server.ViewObjectImpl.createRow(ViewObjectImpl.java:11079)
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I think I understand that, iterator links are not initialized correctly on appeal by Builder or application module impl of the file that I use.
I will need to create a listener of phase of page for the task flow and and use the method afterPhase to call my method for line creation and insertion in the table iterator. ?
But this approach causes the phase listner class to call for each workflow page I don't want I need to fill out the table only for a single page and not to other pages of six.
Please help me in this problem by providing suggestions and pointers.
My version of JDev is 11.1.1.6.
Thanks in advance.
~ Abhishek
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your reply. But it did not solve my problem.
To solve my problem, what I did is mentioned below:
In my support for this page two, I create a listner beforePhase method and named her beforePhase displaying page jspx tag property.
when the phaseId is RENDER_RESPONSE, so I call my method to set the extracted database of the values in the table iterator. and it updated the iterator with new values.
Thank you all for your answers.

Trying to create a certificate using the keytool - help!
Hi, I followed a set of instructions using Terminal Server to create a certificate. Terminal has produced a file and when I open it using text edit its about 20 lines long of a code value. I was hoping that it would provide a certificate that I could use. Maybe there, I don't know what I was looking for!
Im working in the viewer generator and I am tab Provisioning trying to get into the "ID of the Application.
I'm totally stuck here. Help, please!

Trying to create a form that the user can save on their own computers
Hello!
I ' v has created a form with Acrobat X with some textfields and tries to send it to others who have Reader installed (X), but they cannot save the data locally, they entered. Why? What I am doing wrong?
In the end, I also want to add data to the form with a request (form WINDOWS.NET) and that doesn't seem to be a problem, but the most important thing is that users must be able to fill some fields manually, save it to their own machine and send back to me later.
Please tell me how to solve this problem!
You must enable the rights of the player. I do not remember where he moved in he AA X.

Why Illustrator does not accept the 'F1' key as a shortcut? I deleted the default keyboard to "clipping mask/do" command and now I can't use the "F1" key All other command options are used for other shortcuts. Should I delete the Illustrator preferences and start again? If so, how do I?
What OS? If a Mac, go to System Preferences and check the box that says deal with F-keys regular keys (or something to that effect). This will trigger the F keys to be used in artificial intelligence.

How to create parallel snapshots
Hello
I came across another post here that had this attached image:
I have too much work, but for the life of me I can't understand how we'll get the parallel clones. Could someone please advise. (Also - is an easy way to have a base image / installation, and then have two virtually separate comptuers that use the basic installation, thus saving disk space, etc.) ?
Thanks and greetings
Adam.
You can do this by creating a snapshot of the current state (I recommend with the virtual machine off), and then select the snapshot/State where you want to create a fork and click the button "go to."
With this approach you can not run multiple instances of the virtual machine at the same time because it's still a virtual machine. In order to run multiple instances of a base image, use the linked clone option (VM-> manage-> Clone).

Failed to create a snapshot with 2 TB of virtual disk?
I have a virtual file server with a 2 TB virtual disk (vmdk). When I try to create a snapshot of the system (to save), I get the following error:
< Unspecified file name > file is larger than the maximum size supported by the data store ' < unspecified datastore >.
The data store located on the file server is formatted with 5.54 VMFS with size of 1 MB. It's a data store of 12 TB with about 6 TB free.
That is right. If you want to take a snapshot, then the maximum size is GB 2032. And this is the case even if thin you load the disc.

Error message of nonsense trying to create the view
Hello all,.
Oracle Database 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production on Windows 2008R2
I get an error when trying to create a view. The error makes no sense in that didn't evoke any attempt to change a user name or password in the error in production.
I can run the complete select statement very well, I retrieve the results.
If I comment out the line shown as being in error, the problem moves to the line before the tour. 4 lines before the line specified by the error message are similar. The error occurs on the last of the 5 similar lines of code.
If I move all 5 lines above in the code the error moves accordingly.
Function validate_number (near where the error is identified) under certain conditions, it will issue an immediate "alter session set nls_numeric_characters =" execution., "';"
The number of the column identified in the error message is 2 spaces before the validate_number function call.
Here is the syntax for creating the view, the error message is at the bottom.
Figures on the far left indicate the line number. I put 2 blank lines before and after the line of code identified by the error message.
The error points to the 2-seater before the VALIDATE_NUMBER function call on line 350. just before the code sql == > validate_number(Spend_Qty,'')), 0) < ==
Thanks for your time,
Bob

It simply means that you have not had the privilege to do something.
Is validate_number in the same pattern when you create the view? If not, what
privileges that you have about this feature and how is it given? -
Ghost 2003 hangs when trying to create an image of a laptop the m6300 precision hd
I am trying to create a ghost of a precision M6300 laptop hard drive image, but Ghost 2003 hangs just after the start. I tried the cd bootable Ghost 2003 on other systems and it works without problems.
The laptop, which hd I'm ghost, has win xp sp2 installed on it, as well as a few other business applications.
I'm trying to create this image of the boot with the disk Ghost 2003, rather than installing this application on windows xp, and then try to create the image of the hd by running this application in windows.
I heard tha acronis true image works well when creating hard disk images. What's the real disk bootable image? I like to create my images this way.
Thank you

The title pretty much everything said. I have an installer the ISO of Windows 7 Professional x 64. I am trying to create a bootable flash drive using these instructions:
http://www.OSNews.com/story/20795/Installing_Windows_7_on_the_Aspire_One_or_Any_Other_Netbook
I followed all the steps in the guide without problem. Windows Explorer shows the drive is NTFS. I can copy all other files of ISO on the FlashDrive without problem. Only, I can't copy this file. I tried to copy it to my hard drive rather than on the flash drive, and it still does not work.
I tried to create a file with the same name by using Notepad to see if there was a problem with the file name. I can copy this file on my hard drive flash drive, but I can't always copy the ISO file.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 edition and using a Corsair Flash Voyager 16 GB flash drive.
Help, please!
