• Audio does not work after upgrade Windows 10 (Lenovo G780)

  After my upgrade to Windows 10 on my Lenovo G780, it seems that my audio no longer works. I tried plugging my headphones as well to see if I had audio coming through here, but it does not appear in the peripheral reading window when it is plugged.

  The laptop comes with Conexant SmartAudio HD and lists also high definition Audio device in Device Manager.

  Could someone help me and let me know if there is a problem that I monitor.

  I found a page that contains some Conexant software for windows 10 but I don't know if they are updated drivers or if they support even my machine (the page does not support for G780 list).

  After a few tries, I finally got my audio to work and hope it does for you too. What I did close my computer completely as opposed to stopping in the hybrid stop mode. To stop your computer completely, right click on the Windows Start icon and scroll down until closing or disconnect and select stop down in the list. Your computer shuts down completely. Turn on your computer again (start will take a little longer than usual) and check if everything is in order.

  As I mentioned earlier, my audio back after doing this. It will be useful.

  Well, I tried to disable the UEFI boot and then re - enabled again because no specific change occurred. No BSOD so far. I assumed it was a RAM memory because I remember BSOD message was "memory cache" or "cache manager. I will modernize just the RAM to 4 GB. Suppose I have two ram slots.

• XPS 8700, taken audio

  I have a new Dell XPS 8700, it has 6 audio jacks with teeny tiny symbols which color jack I plug my stereo speakers to? For the moment I plugged them into the headphone jack on the top of the computer. Here, the volume is very low. I tried to plug in the 6 taken with no luck. The speakers are an older Dell.

  At least that is what my xps book says 8700.  Check the speaker icon in the taskbar for noise levels, they can be settled true bottom. Also check the recorder sounds, accessories, click OK, click on speakers. I hope this helps.

• Lenovo 3000 N500 Audio problem, once again... Mircosoft UAA Bus Driver For High Definition Audio

  I was checking some topics related to the same problem, and it seems that the problem has not yet been sovled. The problem is I removed vista and installed xp on my laptop (because vista sucks), and now the audio does not work. I tried to make it work for the past 2 days, I tried everything, but still, nothing happened. When I try to install audio driver, it says "installation of the driver fails, could not find the MEDIA device for this driver." Note that in Device Manager, there is no question mark about anything, there's only an exclamation point near "Mircosoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio". Any suggestions?

  after install you it, windows will catch a new sound driver and from there, you can use the audio driver package that lenovo has on their site. Good luck.

  Beats and all software audio apps work fine after 10 window installed. but I lost out in all but one of my audio jacks back during playback using any audio application (Media Player, Cakewalk, etc.).  I went to manage audio devices on the control panel and to configure/test the speakers/headphones and I went out on the set of the back to my speakers during the test; but, not for playback of audio applications.

  I found a solution.  After the announcement of this question, I went through the different options for audio and put to update my sound driver.  Since I got a response from the Microsoft Community ( http://answers.microsoft.com ) forum which confirms this.

  > Locate the audio adapter.  In my case, I had two entries for audio devices, "Audio inputs and outputs" and "audio, video, and game controllers.

  > It seems that it is the same driver for 'Speakers/headphones' under ' Audio inputs and outputs.

• Lenovo B520 sends audio only, no video on tv

  Hello. I want to play what is on my B520 on my TV. However, only audio is sent out but no video and regardless of the Office of the image (screen background image, no programs or something else).   It sounds like you have extended your office not cloned it press and hold windows key, then press P to scroll through the options, duplicate or second screen is the option that you are after

  Hi I have some problems with my laptop here. When I try to put the mouse to the USB port and I want to click on any program except for office, he cant, because it behaves as I clicked on the desktop. The mouse works perfectly on the desktop, on the left and right button does not.   Hello. I would like to share my experience with the community.

  The dsd - dac online (http://www.amazon.de/InLine-AmpUSB-Kopfh%C3%B6rer-Verst%C3%A4rker-Digital-Konverter/dp/B0147RK7ZE/re... works very well with Lenovo G780, without any kind of questions. The sound is clear and detailed, as if a little flat, or cold, but it can be set with an appropriate equalizer.

  It works via USB, which is also its power source. It can be connected to a power adapter (5V), but this map is missing from the box. All required software is on cd (jriver media center with a registry key and drivers).

  As expected (at least me) surround dolby does not work with this dac. If you want to use the dolby with an external dac system, a good choice is the NuForce Icon CAD (http://www.amazon.de/Nuforce-Icon-Digital-Analog-Converter-Audio-Schwarz/dp/B00E83MXZK/ref=sr_1_1?ie... This dac also works very well with my Lenovo.

  I hope this could be of interest for people eager to map external usb audio.

  I use a Lenovo G780, 16 GB Ram (Kingston) and a Samsung Evo 850. I like OS, windows 7. After many unfortunately windows 10 upgrade, I went back to the old windows 7.

• G780 - issue of Track pad

  Just got my Lenovo G780 for about 2 weeks now and I have a weird problem with the touch pad.

  1. whenever I double select something, so I immediately proceed to move my pointer, it does not have a second later. It's a very noticeable delay.

  (I also have the same problem when I type and use the touchpad, immediately after, it has a response time).

  2 when I double select a Word and move the pointer to my later, the selection of trails just along where I move towards which is annoying, because now I need to triple select to let the choice. On regular laptops and mouse, all I have to do is double click and everything what is selected without any problem.

  I encounter these questions with my USB mouse.

  From what I understand here that looks more like a software problem. What I suggest is for you to uninstall the touchpad drivers and restart your machine. Once the machine load let windows install the generic readers that it a. find the changes then.

  If the problem persists, try to download the drivers touchpad from our http://support.lenovo, com support site Please ensure that you download the correct drivers for your machine type.

  You just bought all new Lenovo g780. After you resolve the problem after problem with this laptop, I ran on a question which is not only boring, it's vol. I bought Microsoft Office 2010 365 with the laptop and it came with a 25 character for the activation code. Office says starter code is not valid, the activator of demo says that he runs into a problem whenever I try to install, and when I go into the control panel where I should find uninstall/change, Microsoft Office is THE ONLY program that does not give me the option to uninstall, change, so I can not fix it. I paid $120 for this program and am beyond angry that Lenovo couldn't even get that right.

  In fact, I was able to find a solution to the problem. I bought Office home and student, however they installed home premium office on the laptop. I uninstalled office and installed family version and student. After debugging, I was able to use my key activation and installation.
