  It assigns the value to point P3_EMPNO and session as well. Initially the P3_EMPNO point value is not inserted into the session.

  I defined a VO with 3 fields (A, B and C) and I would like to create a SelectOneChoiche that shows only the field as options from this instance of VO.

  In a managed bean, I need to retrieve the values for all areas (A, B and C) of the item selected by the user.

  I started dragging the entire VO instance to UI to create a SelectOneChoiche (in which I have chosen to show only the to field).

  Then, I created a for the SOC ValueChangeListener read the values A, B and C of the selected element, but the only thing I've done is to get the displayed value:

  First of all, you probably want to use invokeAndWait so that the calling thread is blocked until the Runnable.run () ends. After that, one solution is to store the result of somewhere.   By chance, I came up with this workaround. Of course there are other methods to get your data from a web - app, but if you want to use the 'Web apps search form', it would be a workaround.

  I noticed that the "Web apps entry form" contains all the fields of web applications for your web application (including the fields of the data source).

  It is possible to add the fields to the form of the "Web apps entry form" in the «Web apps search form»

  If you insert the "Web apps entry form" on a blank page, you will see all the fields in your web App including the "data source fields. The names of form fields contain something like.

  If you copy the form field desired (containing the "CAT_Custom_number"), you can paste it on the page in the form where the "web app search form" is inserted.

  In short... you can't.  The channels are channels, and SQL and PL languages dictate that the string literals are provided within single quotes.

  I don't see how trying to retrieve more than 200 records of employees in the select statement means that you must get rid of the quotes.

  I'm curious to know why you want to change the parameter STATISTICS_LEVEL across the session. There is probably a good reason for the change, but the WHOLE setting can cause significant performance problems (10.x seems to be more affected by the change, more noticeable with Oracle database type nested loops joins).

  The doc above, you could see that I have several occurrences of the element "Ent". I usually use the .extract and. getSTringVal() to retrieve the values as below.

  I'm guessing it's a bug fixed when Oracle 10.2 is released. I can reproduce your lack of results on 10.1.0.4 and as shown in my post above, it works correctly on 10.2.0.4.

  Here is a modification of the script that shows what is happening that I have that debugging. (It took me a bit to realize the difference that it wasn't what I was expecting)

  As you can see, Oracle is to detach (well technically not add) the space of default names to the nodes retrieved. To compensate, you need to change your loop to look like

• Passing values from one page to the other

  Hello

  I have two code coldfusion pages, a page how to display the form and another is the action of the form code. I want to create another page, so that if the user hits the edit button, it is taken to a page where the user of the same form with entries filled beforehand for some areas and the remaining fields are uneditable, i.e. they give the value in the database for the current entry, as it is.

  Should I access the values of the database, if so, HOW? And if not, HOW?

  IF you aready accessible data on the previous page, you can store the data in a persistent scope (session, application, server) where it can be reused on other pages without a trip back to the database.

  IF you have not yet accessed the data, then passing a key via a GET (URL alias) or variable POST (aka SHAPE) allows easy access to a query to retrieve the desired data from the database to fill in the form.
