  I wrote exam 1Z0-007 and was planning to write 1Z0 - 147 next Saturday.
  
  But I came across the post here in this forum that Oracle University will soon release a new option of the review for those pursuing the Oracle PL/SQL Developer certified associate (IBC) or certifications Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional (OCP).
  
  And the test will be offered as an alternative to taking existing exam 1Z0-147 (PL/SQL program) in the ways of Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional (OCP) and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA) certification.
  
  So, what should I do now?
  
  Should I go ahead and take the exam next week or otherwise?

• Siebel 7.7 analytics application Developer Exam

  I am interested in getting certified in Siebel Analytics (developer, server, etc.). But I trained by non-oracle Institute. Is it possible for me to go to this review?

  From the official page, you can see that 1Z0-620 should not be able to pass the certification. "Analytics: developer of applications (Siebel 7.7)" and "Analytics: Advanced Application Developer (Siebel 7.7)" are recommended, but not required to take the exam (or the equivalent in OBIEE/A). So, theoretically, you can go for certification as soon as you have finished 1Z0 - 620.

  This means for me, you must have either followed courses of Siebel Analytics, or at least one of the new courses of Oracle BI (from Oracle University course) for the certification.

  A guest account has no privileges to manage the tasks of administrators are toggle accounts.

  You can try the Safe Mode to see if you can log in with the administrator account. Even if you have defined the disabled administrator account, you should be able to open a session without failure.

  If this does not help, you need to restore from a backup or to reinstall the operating system.

• Admin apex EDITION problem a user to the workspace with administrator privileges

  I use Apex 4.2 and 11.2 XE on a Windows Server.  Many applications work well.

  Today I went to http:// (server) / apex/apex_admin to add a few users in a workspace (Workspace management / manage developers and users)

  When I created a user when the user is Administrator = No and when the user is developer = no, everything worked fine.  When I subsequently edit the user, everything is fine.

  When I created a user when the user is Administrator = Yes and when the user is developer = Yes, the user was created without problem, but later I couldn't edit this user.  When I clicked on the pencil to the user icon I got the error message: ORA-01841: (full) year must be understood between-4713 and 9999 and not be 0

  
  

  At no point in the standard user or administrator / developer user I enter anything in the DEFAULT DATE FORMAT field.

  As part of my diagnosis, I looked at the WWV_FLOW_FND_USER. Field DEFAULT_DATE_FORMAT.  I have confirmed that it is null for all users.

  Could the UI for Apex_Admin also be written to another table somehow?  Just trying to think this through.

  I don't know how I could have created this problem by using the user interface.  How can I modify this to the administrator / Developer users, I need to create?  I need to edit the table directly?  I hesitate to do so.

  In Instance Apex Manager, under security settings, the maximum lifetime of password you defined is so high that when you add the last password change the number of days, it's beyond 31/12/9999 (the maximum date allowed in the Oracle database).  Reduce this to a reasonable value (even 10,000 days would be nice).

  I plan for certification OCP (track 10g) and have two or three questions. I tried looking for answers on google, but did not find anything relevant that I want to ask. Here are my questions:
  
  (1) for the OCA, they have added a review more which can be given at home. My question is if there is no sequence that we must first give the SQL examination and only then can we give Oracle database 10g: Administration 1 exam (exam 1Z0-042)? Can we give these two reviews in order any?
  
  (2) my second question is related to the requirement of hands on training. Is - this mandatory? Can it be replaced by any like Linux fundamentals certificate examination examination?
  
  (3) my third question is still linked to the training. If it is mandatory, then what is the economical way to obtain this training? I live in San Jose, CA (USA) and resembles the OCP training class is thousands of dollars. Is there a replacement for this training?

  NO, you need not Fusion Middleware at all to develop PL/SQL modules. The PL/SQL code can be stored either in a text file and loaded in SQL Developer, or stored as a package, procedure, or function in the database.

  You should really ask this question in a forum DBA or PL/SQL, Oracle Forms uses and needs of PL/SQL, the reverse is not true you don't need Oracle Forms or Weblogic/Fusion Middleware to learn PL/SQL.

  If you want to build using SQL and PL/SQL oracle applications , then you need Fusion Middleware.

  I can't do it when you use 'open reference VI' with le...\application.exe\SubVI.vi path in the run time system.

  That is the problem. Call a Subvi dynamic means users could change, but it is also very attractive.

  The dynamic call should be used in a user control, but some parade can avoid problems.

  It depends on why you use dynamic calls...-online 2 main ways:

  -Dynamic call are used to maintain a scalable framework for the code without acting on the executable file-online a single VI distribution managed by the administrator/developer

  -Dynamic call are used to provide a collection of "external" characteristic that could be enriched by the administrator/developer. For example, you provide your customers a set of selectable custom signal filters in the executable.

  In 2 cases, you are only able to assess the skills of the users to know if there is a risk of damage, if there is a change.

  So to stay only master a parade might be to provide dynamic VI without a schema, but with the problem of maintenance, since no in-place editing and more attention to manage distribution.

  Another way is to hide the actual distribution to user-online call dynamic VI but it without name as *.vi but others (a repellent name as system of OS name ) or simply without extension in order to attract not user... but that's debatable...

  Another more difficult but more secure method is to create a consistency check before your routine (version, user, modified date,...)

  I took * several * Oracle certification exams.  I've never bought a voucher. Therefore, there is no need to buy one from Oracle University. During the planning of exams with Pearson view, it is possible to provide proof at the time, or just buy a credit card.  I always just buy the exam with a credit card at the time that I'm planning. I see no reason to separate me from my money until I'm ready to take the test.

  Sometimes, especially when you buy training from Oracle, you can get a discount price on the good which makes it cheaper for the exam. Other times, companies buy for their employees rather than having employees buy reviews and submit them for a refund. There are also some good ones that provide a free recovery if you fail the initial exam. Except for these three items, I don't know all the benefits of buying a good vs pay at the time of planning.

  In any case when I took the first step to buy a voucher for 1Z0 - 144 a few minutes ago, he showed at the date of the voucher as validity is 6 months.  I guess that's the standard, but I can't say for sure.

  Any help why this configuration works on production envirement?

  My system-jazn-"Data.xml" has entered correct...

  Finally, I found... Administrator develop new envirement and they use java 1.8 (WTF). Have to kill them immediately after to write this post...

  I found that the search to setDomainEnv.sh

  Changed start at 1.6 and all works like magic... IM really surprised that start weblogic with java 8 and generate strange symtomps with authentication...

  I guess you're talking about the DBA track because you don't specify. There are a number of tracks in the certification program Oracle which grant powers OCA and OCP. They're all slightly different requirements.

  If you are a DBA of OCP 9i existing, and assuming your goal is to get a 11g DBA OCP credential, you can take the upgrade exam (1Z0-055) for the 11g DBA OCP credential without attending a training course. If you take the 11g DBA OCA and OCP exams directly, you need to take a training course.
