Revealing a hidden section breaks before page

I have a 300 page with two main sections, the preliminary pages manuscript and the body. Both are numbered automatically by using the section and numbering options. However, the section break appears hiding out at the left hand of the page before the page section break. Obviously, the page always prints but I need to be able to add and remove things to the page. Is there anyway to reveal this page without undoing the section break?

Yeh there see no page isn't.

You need a new page at the end of the front section of the new section.

You are currently ending on a right-hand page and count on a right-hand page.

You must end on a left page, currenlty you complete on page "xiii" - you have to end on a left page which will be an even number "xvi" and start on a right-hand page, which will be '1' - which is an odd page number.

I don't know - but there may be a setting in the numbering and Section that automatically adds a page master white to a section of breaking bad or something?

  • How to generate a printed document with section breaks "continuous" compared with section breaks "next page"?

When generating a Word or PDF document from HTML Help files a section break 'next page' is used after each topic. How can I get a "continuous" instead of section break?

I was searching a little more. Here's the deal.

New chapters will always start on a new page and have an odd or next page break depending on the parameter to start new chapters. If checked, it will be a jump of odd Page, else a Next Page break.

Subjects of a book will follow the topic of every throw on a framework for the new Page. If checked, each topic is separated by a page break, not a section break. Otherwise, they will be on the same page without any break.

Subjects not in a book will be followed by a section break.

So the section breaks are only created for chapters and topics not in a chapter.

Hope that helps. Please report if you find otherwise.

  • < xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute >-add blank lines

    Hello.
    < xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute >-add blank lines.
When to transfer the lines to the next page with the command
< xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute >, a new page at the beginning of a blank line, then the data. And so on all pages. If < xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute > removed, the XML Editor displays all the lines correctly.

I can send RTF and XML files.

Does anyone know how can I solve this problem?
    Thank you

Send me the xml files and the [email protected] model. I'll take a look. Also, can you clarify your needs and deliver a little clearer in your email?

  • Why the page-break-before get replaced by br class hcp10?

    Why do < br style = "' page-break-before: always;" > get replaced by < br class = "hcp10" > "

This problem only occurs when generating a HTML Help CHM file.

An alternative method are in article 23, to http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#content.

Do you mean that the code in the source file is changed? I suspect that you mean the target files, but how do you identify the change in a CHM? The change causes a problem?

  • How to get a Page break before Inline TOC in EPUB?

I export an epub book file.  The table of contents are created correctly online, but I can't yet find a way to get a page break right in front of her.

In the export-> advanced EPUB Options, I chose Split Document-> export tags to paragraph Style to light.

The header of the table of contents (saying "Table of contents") has the paragraph style "TOC direction.» In panel-> paragraph styles change all the tags to export, I checked the box for 'Split EPUB' next to the 'Table of contents for the topic' style.

But after exporting, there is no page break before the header of the table of contents.

    How can I fix this?

Thank you very much in advance for any info.

Basically, I think that you are doing it correctly. I met the same problem. What I found is that the title of the table of contents PLACE (using the page layout > Table of contents function and place it on the page) will not work to make a page break. This is a special type of object, because it can be updated by the update command Table of contents.

You need to do a work around: you need to create a "Table of contents" in a separate frame and apply the paragraph title style Table of contents.

In the style of table of contents, include not happy for the TOC title. Check out the screenshots below of my OCD.

By separating the "content" in its own frame, it works in EPUB:

  • Run logic before Page JSF is treated

In my workflow, I have two activities from view.  When a user performs a specific operation, for example, click the command send, in a view, the JSF in View B page.  JSF page view of B has three elements (2 forms and a table) ADF created from different point of view objects in the data control section.  Before the JSF page loading, a method executes the logic needed for the three components of the ADF.  Is this possible?

I use JDeveloper 12.1.3.  I am not in a position to determine where I can specify the name of the name of the method that will be called before page B JSF's View is called.

You can add a method between the two call when you navigate from A to B in your workflow.

  • Convert Word doc to PDF - problem with section breaks

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro (constant rejection of 2015) on my Macbook Pro (OS Yosemite 10.10.5) and I use Word for Mac 2011. I write a lot of long documents and often insert section breaks if I can change the orientation of the page from portrait to landscape and back, etc... When I convert Word documents to a part of the PDF document is PDF - ed up to first page redirecting.  He drives me crazy because in order for the entire document to convert, I break up of my word document in separate documents according to portrait or landscape mode and then convert each into a PDF file separately and combine them and then at the end.  It causes no end of trouble with numbers of page and headers, and feet.

    This happened to someone else?

    Does anyone have a solution?

I would be grateful for any help.  I'm about to write another very long report containing pages of different orientation, and I'd rather be able to PDF in a go.  Thank you.

    Hi wendym79499885,

In Word, open the file you want to create a PDF file, click file > print and select Adobe PDF as the printer.

Click Properties in the print dialog box make sure you have the selections you want.

Back on the Print Setup dialog box, leave the paper and Orientation as a letter and Portrait respectively.

In the print dialog box, select print to file and navigate to the correct location. Be sure to save as a PostScript (name.ps) file and the safe field book both, you want only selected file.

Once again on the print dialogue box book, click on the checkbox to generate data Adobe and click Configuration of PDF. On the PDF configuration for the selected files dialog box, PDF job options, select print quality or make the choice for your situation for settings, Favorites, Tags, and links.

With Adobe Distiller open, file > open and find the .ps file you previously reported. Also check that your default settings for the PDF file are correct. When the Distiller is finished, you can double-click the PDF to open it and check your landscape and portrait pages display correctly.

I would like to know if it works for you.

    Kind regards

  • When exporting to pdf format how can I stop the character and dialogue being separated by a break of page pls?

As part of my course of MY I submitted a script exported to .pdf, and when I arrived at the bottom of the page the name of the character is sometimes separated from the Dialogue.

I received a note from my tutor about it is formatted, but I doubt that the answer is to take in unwanted blank line that he would so ruin anything earlier moves downwards.

Is there a way to get around this please?

    Character

    -(page break)-

    Dialogue

    Thank you

    Jamie

I guess you can try two things

-You can insert a page break before this character. i.e.

    -(page break)-

    Character

    Dialogue

    - or you can try to disable "more & more" in the view menu. He must move such sequences of characters-dialogue on the next page.

You can also try to search using a part of the name or similar words in Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons, on the upper right corner or @ AMOsearch box. Looking for example copy text back a hundred results. I hope that you will be able to find the good add-on.
