  This problem only occurs when generating a HTML Help CHM file.

  Do you mean that the code in the source file is changed? I suspect that you mean the target files, but how do you identify the change in a CHM? The change causes a problem?

• How to get a Page break before Inline TOC in EPUB?

  I export an epub book file.  The table of contents are created correctly online, but I can't yet find a way to get a page break right in front of her.

  In the export-> advanced EPUB Options, I chose Split Document-> export tags to paragraph Style to light.

  Basically, I think that you are doing it correctly. I met the same problem. What I found is that the title of the table of contents PLACE (using the page layout > Table of contents function and place it on the page) will not work to make a page break. This is a special type of object, because it can be updated by the update command Table of contents.

  You need to do a work around: you need to create a "Table of contents" in a separate frame and apply the paragraph title style Table of contents.

  In the style of table of contents, include not happy for the TOC title. Check out the screenshots below of my OCD.

• Insert Page breaks

  I need to take a PDF of a page and insert several page breaks. I use Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and can don't seem to find anyway to divide a page into several pages. What I've done is to convert the PDF to Excel and the fact that way, but the text is compromised, and I find myself spending a lot of time to change the overall structure of the document. It would be simpler to use Adobe Acrobat to keep the document exactly as it appears in the original PDF form and just break the page up with an insert of pages such as break in Excel. Any help would be appreciated.

  You can't just insert a page break in a PDF file. It is not intended to be edited in a way.
  If you have the original file then modify it and then generate a new PDF. If you have not then your best chance is to export the PDF file to another format (such as an Excel spreadsheet or a Word document) and then edit it and create a new PDF.

  Here's the problem that you run in. Style CSS "page break before: always" is the right technique to make PDF files have page breaks. The question is how OBIEE generates PDF files. When you have a pivot table of response, the HTML code for this particular pivot table is actually several tables nested in HTML. For example,.

  The question that OBIEE needs this style to be a child of the main table (table AnswerReport) and not back down to the level of the pivot table. So that the stand-alone version of response report to work, should be more structured as follows:

  
  
  

  But this would require quite a redesign of the OBIEE way generates the content of the request response.

  Instead, I would recommend this book autour.

  (1) create your unique response with both request (let's call them PT1 and PT2) of PivotTables
  (2) create a dashboard
  (3) dashboard page, add a second column by clicking the column more icon
  4) click on the properties of the second column and add a break. When it asks you what type of break, select Page Break with column break. This is the step that gives you your jump page PDF.
  (5) drag and drop your report at the top of the column
  6) click on the properties of your report, and then click View-> PT1
  (7) drag and drop your report in the background column
  8) click on the properties of your report, and then click View-> PT2
  (9) save your dashboard
  (10) in your iBots, deliver the dashboard instead of the report answer page.

  It's kinda a quote around, according to the way in which that OBIEE generates the HTML code, I don't think you can get a page otherwise break.

  Good luck and let me know if it works! I tested the technique of myself and it worked successfully.

  Solution to the problem was eventually remove all the dsp_create_pdf.cfm file Table labels.

  Thus only

  have been used in the code HTML of the CFM page and everything worked as expected.

  My report model is a RTF document. My type of report output is RTF.
  
  In my model, I want a page break, but with the release of the report is generated BEEP seems to be converting my page break in a "section break (Next Page).
  
  This causes problems with my headers of documents making them based section, then a change in the header at the top of the page by the user is not translated below.
  
  I tried to use the Menu of MS Word > insert > Page Break as MS Word Menu > paragraph properties > combos > Page break before in both the RTF output has a "Section break (Next Page)" instead of the desired hard page break.
  
  Y at - it a setting I should change to prevent that from happening? am I wrong to insert my page breaks?

  I'm trying to insert a page break at some of my subjects so they started a new page in the printed documents, but a page break doesn't seem to work. I wonder why and what is the workaround for this problem, if any?

  I wanted to section 2 on the next page in the printed documentation. Is this possible at all?

  It's a variation on a method I sent tanborj, and it later turned out, not entirely satisfactory. I have sent since this solution which offers a simple alternative to the method in RoboHelp which has a bug in it.

  Open your CSS in a text editor. Add this

  . Break {page-break-before: always ;}}

  (You can change the name of the first instance of "break" to what you want but not spaces).

  1. In a topic go to what you want to be on the next page.
  2. Place the cursor at the beginning of this line.
  3. In the drop-down list style, you will find 'break' or all that you called.
  4. What to choose.
  5. You will see the page above the line break icon.

  As far as I know, "Word Art" is a feature of Microsoft Word.  The location where you will find the "insert a page break" differs according to the different versions of Word, but for recent versions, it is as described here:

• Header style page break problem

  I create an EPUB book and I have a problem with page breaks.

  I'm trying to force a page break for the paragraph header style, but it does not work. Specifically, I chose to change the paragraph style I want, in this case heading Style, and then choose keep Options, then start paragraph: on the next Page. I also check the exported CSS code and it says page-break-before: always. However, when I export my EPUB, there is NO page break before the header (I have maybe two headers in the same page). How is that possible? Is there another solution?

  On EPUB recomposable Layout Export Options, have you checked Split Document > from the paragraph tags Style export?

  My APEX page consists of several HTML areas and mixed SQL reports. The user just wants to print from the web page. Now, I want the page to break at the specific point. The length of regions vary due to some dynamic content in them. I thought I found the solution, last month, but it does not work. Here's what I have. But it does not work.

  I logged in your workspace and I think I understand what the problem is.

  You have chosen a fancy with a DIV model that spans the entire body of the page. If I remember correctly, the page break does not work if you try to put a break within a nested DIV.

  You need to try with some 'old' model or remove this DIV printer friendly page model in the foreground with the class "uBodyContainer".

  In addition, you have created two regions without a model, I had to change the model "DIV with ID '.

  I also removed some stuff in excess of the page header.

  I don't want to make too many changes in your code, otherwise you will not understand what is happening.
