• Change of long clips for After Effects

  I have a 30 minute sequence I want to use to create special effects in After Effects.  I want to only use several small pieces (10 or 15 images) of the clip in After Effects.  I can't understand an easy way to find and change the 15 images in the film 30 minutes inside After Effects.  How can I identify the clips / images I want to use in After Effects.

  Uncompressed AVI have HUGE files sizes.  The Quicktimes I mentioned the quality of image, but to a much smaller file size.

  In previous versions of Premiere CS6, CS5, CS5.5, 4...    When adding an effect to a video file or audio clip he chnaged a small bar of color in the clip he check had added effects.   It was great to preview the timeline and see what clips had added effects.

  Is there a way set CC to see like this?  How quickly look at a timeline with very small clips and see if they have added effects now?  Help, please.

• Card dance effect

  I use after effects CC and I'm learning how to use the effects of the Simulation.  Aid for the dance card takes me to a help screen which seems to be a little more contact, the instructions do not match the menu choices.  So I found my me guess what they're trying to do.  Apparently, I'm a bad guesser, I can't even begin to do a dance of the card.  Can I get some instructions to update or a video?

  If you use a gradient overlay or generate a gradient of effects, then you need to before composing the layer before card dance can use information of gradient on the layer to move the grid. If you use a shape with a gradient or an image, or even a video layer, you will have to call before. It is one thing to rendering order. The plug-in card dance needs to see different color values to move the grid, but the gradient effect and the gradient fill layer style are calculated after that dance card looked at the layer level, so no movement is produced. Before dialing solves this problem because the values of gradients are generated before dance card has been fortunate to refer to the layer.

  Here's a simple project with a shape for the gradient layer. I put a 50% gray bar at the bottom and set it to a black radial gradient white in the Center. This will distort the layer map dance pushing black back and pulling on white on the forehead in Z. I also used a scale X and Y to give a little space between the cards.

  Under the time display settings (the key), you can enable Show FX badges on or off.

  White: no effect

  Violet; effect

  I am trying to find a way to realize a flip when vertical and horizontal card.

  In as3, this can be done quite easily using greensock.

  Something long lines:

  There is a version as2 tweenmax that you can use to interpolate the _xscale and _yscale properties of instances of symbols.

• can't the first frame of a clip in the effects window there dissolve

  I often askblocks roll, add dissolved, then adjust the scale or position of the keyframes for the overused (Yes), Ken burns effect.  It seems with the last update that I can't get to the first frame of the video that is now a 10 or if executives earlier after adding to dissolve.   Basically, he made useless first if you want to do anything other than add a dissolution.  SOME EFFECTS MAY BE AFFECTED AFTER THE ADDITION OF DISSOLVED WITHOUT STARTING OVER. VERY FRUSTRANT AND MAKING this PRODUCT NOT AVAILABLE of suggestions?

  I found this code on the net and I try to adjust so that the effect of page is done automatically, but not the actual pages are turned. Just an effect of alpha'ed from the infinite page turns.

  At this point, you are the only person who knows what the objects are involved in the design.  What you need to do, is use the function trace to follow through the treatment to see which behaves in a way you expect.  Line by line implement if necessary to see where missing.

• Import clips with first effects in AE

  Hi, I had a search on google and also look through the forums, but found nothing on the subject to:

  I'm trying to import an After Effects project. The project itself is composed of many jpg all places one after the other, and with the transition effect "dissolve" applied (stop-motion for all intensive purposes). However, when I try and import the project into After Effects, the transient effects do not transfer in all leaving me with just the images in the order (which have much less convincing air without dissolving it applied).

  In addition, After Effects doesn't seem to get a preview of the video correctly every time that I start to use the above-mentioned project (the little green bar which marks something like the rendering is quite nervous. Not sure if it's just a problem that occurs naturally when working with projects on AE, but it's pretty boring.

  

  Someone has an idea how to fix any of these issues or are they just inherent problems when working with projects on AE?

  I suggest you to read about the effects and transitions are actually supported when importing projects in AE on aid and whether or not using DynamicLink would help in your case. With regard to the bars of preview RAM - look normal to me. Still images are only cached once to save RAM, if they do not move or have other animations and applied effects. The bar won't green at the actual opening, during work or after the preview.

• 3 simple questions involving basic effects.

  I use Pro CS3 on Windows 7.

  (1) is it possible to apply an audio transition to make something fade out?  I see only 'constant gain' and not 'the constant loss' or something else.  I don't know how to lose volume over time.

  (2) I wanted to do a bunch of clips black and white at the same time, so I highlighted all the clips that I wanted to have that effect on and dragged the black and white effect in the menu on the clips, but it did nothing!  I tried several times, even tried the reverse, dragging the clips of the effect, but nothing.  I had to finally click on each item separately and apply the effect, very tedious.  Is it possible to apply it to several at once?

  (3) I can change the volume of a single audio file by clicking middle yellow bar on the fastener of the line of time and travel upwards (or downwards in case I want it reduced to silence) but I can't figure out how to do this in several clips at the same time.  For example, if I want 5 clips to increase by 4.5 dB without clicking each clip individually.  Thanks a lot for your help guys.

  1. Controls by clicking on the audio "elastic" to add a control point.   For example to fade a clip to add a control point 1 second from the end and the other at the end.  Drag a last up to zero.    Or; Add an audio transition of melted at the end or at the beginning of the clip.  (command D shft)
  2. In addition to a clip.  Then copy this clip, select all the other clips, and choose attributes of the dough.
  3. If you want to change all the clips or gain, volume change the volume of the track.

• can not make or produce the clip modified with dark tones / highlights and reverse

  I can not make or produce a clip that has been modified with the shadows / highlights (smoothing time, black, white clip) and reverse with speed / duration.  When you try to make I get an error.  No number it says only: order and error.  If I try to produce the video, it starts to run and then I heard a sound that resembles a goat and the program stops.

  Clamp reversed, nest, and then add the effect or v.v.

• Premiere Pro creates new after effects project sending clips to AE?

  When you create a new composition in After Effects to clips on the timeline, Premiere Pro works perfectly well. Send clips to a new composition, the same project After Effects. All is well and good. Until I got close After Effects or Premiere. Then, when that I raise, clips in After Effects in a new composition, Premiere Pro sent something strange. Even if I reopen the project I was working on, no matter what, Premiere Pro sent clips to a new project and not send them to the one currently open. Does anyone have any kind of reasons as to why?

  Just to clarify: when you continue to work, After Effects is open with the file to current project open AE and Premiere Pro is open with the file to current project plans open as well.  Then, when you choose "Replace with After Effects Composition" your Pro first sequence, the current project of AE closes and starts a new AE project.

  All of which is managed by dynamic link and clearly something is off.

  I got to one of two things:

  • Begin a conversation with Adobe support to check that everything is installed and configured correctly on your system.
  • Uninstall the two Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects and then reinstall them (something Adobe support would you anyway).
