  I have a problem with the Action links for Oracle CRM on Demand. When I click an action link to navigate to a page of account details, I get the following error:
  The record you are trying to access has been deleted or has received a new owner and you no longer have access to it. If you deleted the file, it can be found in deleted items. If you continue to have problems contact your Oracle CRM on demand.

  We are implementing Oracle CRM On Demand and the Outlook integration for our users. We have few users who will connect to the system using citrix. I wanted to know if there are known problems with the integration of outlook with on demand when it is used through Citrix.

  We run everything although Citrix for Outlook and the application is hosted on Citrix servers. Personally, I have two sessions running at any given time...

  One - Citrix with the application installed on the local server but personally, I don't use outlook via Citrix but do other users.
  Two - I start Outlook on my local machine outside Citrix as well and it works fine

• Several questions to CRM On demand release 16

  Hi all
  
  I use the trial version of Oracle CRM On Demand 16 release, and I have several questions to ask:
  
  1. in the help document "Oracle CRM On Demand administration / Business process management/creation workflow rule Actions" mentioned that we can create a value for update action, but I can't find this feature in the workflow rule action.
  While we have to pay for this feature, like "assign an action book"?
  
  
  2. I can't add new values to lookup the status of Service request, it is a read-only.
  Is there a way to do this?

  1. the 'Updated value' Action is available under Triger Event-"before recorded change."
  I don't know why you have to pay to "assign an action book. It's on the box feature.

  2. Yes, the status of SR is a read-only list. A workaround that I can think of is to create a custom field for the status. Then run a WF to synchronize the values of the status field custom field initial status (particuluarly open and close values. Who will maintain the integrity of all matrices of SR).

  I don't think that there is no comparison of the independent. Each provider can provide one showing their product beats all. Gartner and Forester ranks CRM On Demand as leaders in the CRM space. They are always behind the salesforce.com.

  I suggest you look at the functions that you are trying to reach and see what software would be wise. CRM on Demand is a growth curve while salesforce has stabilized in the market space. CRM on Demand has some key features of Siebel and I see that they fast forward. Salesforce a large number of partners. CRMOD R16 is going to be a major release with respect to features. Problem with CRMOD is that they don't tell you when they come out with a new version. This kind of sux!.

  R15 of CRMOD has only 3 custom objects and R16 is supposed to come out with somewhere between 8-30. Salesforce already has more than 30 items (customized version).
  Salesforce data center architecture has been challenged to the end - because all salesforce customers were out for 40 minutes during the last week. It won't happen thanks to their Pod Structure in Oracle. A descending pod will not kill all clients.
  Oracle customer service has improved over the last year.

• How to identify the data that is associated with any book in crm on demand?

  We are experimenting with books, but I have yet to find an easy way to identify the data that are not associated with any book.
  
  Do you have a suggestion?

  I discussed this with Oracle in recent years CAB, but we have no indication if it will be included, but it could be part of their 'User' hotel subject they are studying.

It says in the summary paragraph that the review will be "..." include topics such as: access to the data and visibility, book of business, Administration of product, Extending Application Introduction to the role of administrator, configuration of the user, forecasting, Administration, Administration of companies, assignment, sharing, creating Workflows team rules, fields of personalization, customization of Pages, Web Services on the application Guide, transfer of information Web Services (YOU), transfer of Web Information Integration Services (YOU). This path assumes that you have one, or several years of experience. »

  Since all the SA above are the ORA_R1213 adapter. After successful loading im in the point to run load complete CRM which is in the universal adapter.
  
  What I did is that I added the complete CRM area to my existing ORA_R1213 topic Area(nearly i had 23 subject areas for CRM). And generated the parameters for the disciplines of the following container (universal and ORA_R1213) in my field as follows.

  As I relational connection in informatica Workflow manager for text source and target as
  
  Source-> ORA_R1213
  Goal--> Data Warehouse
  
  After generating the parameters I built it and made an EP, in which my yen area load will be previous peform and my new CRM area will peform full load inside. Accordingly, I have total number of tasks such as 1302, in this task only 200 is task successful and remaining 1000 task fails.
  
  When I saw the reason for the failed task, I can see the task that has failed is in the following folder universal

  I'm not sure what exactly is the problem that I could not find any ORA error behind this task universal container CRM failed.

  I think that you understand what is the purpose of "Universal adapter" before doing anything. AU aims to integrate external systems NON-ORACLE of the DW OBIA. Currently, OLIVIER supports several Modules of Oracle and Siebel CRM (finance, HR, etc.) ... but I don't think CRM is one of them (at least not for 7963). CRM On-Demand' sounds like a cloud based Oracle solution... which means... There is no physical DB on the site. Whatever it is, to do an analysis to see if its possible to use UA to get Oracle CRM data to the data model existing. Once this is done, you can then configure the CSV files to be used for a load of the AU. You can not just "turn it on" AU which is what it seems you are trying to do. It will be useful.

  When you create the dashboard of the guests in a created custom dashboard in CRM On Demand, I do not receive my results of filtering ".
  
  The specifics:
  
  (1.) the guest is defined for the specific page
  2.) I'm trying to filter on the exercise and a quarter. Although not all the reports on the dashboard use Fiscal quarter a year, most do. and those that do, still does not work.
  ......
  (3.) I decided in addition test was needed with this feature, so I did the following:
  3A.) creates a new dashboard - titled 'historic opportunity '.
  3B.) selected two reports with the area in question "historic opportunity." Two selected reports have a year column in the business report: story of opportunity
  c. 3) created a line of dashboard for exercise using the area of subject story of opportunity.
  4.) added to the dashboard guest to the new dashboard with ONLY two reports for 3 b above
  .. the results are always the same, no interaction.
  
  Any help would be much appreciated. I went through book of Oracle CRM on demand Michael Larison notification, but was not yet able to solve this problem.

  The following must be done:

  1 be sure to pull the fiscal year column in the report.
  2. in the filter, you select is propmted
  3. you can remove the column after applying the filter.
  4. After selecting the year in the dashboard, please click the "Go" button in the dashboard.

• How to code in java to use CRM web services

  I'm new to CRM on-demand web services. I want to develop a java J2EE application to insert data of lead in CRM on demand. But I have no idea how the wsdl provided by CRM can be converted to a java class so that I can use the APIs provided by them in my program. I use Eclipse Galileo IDE for my java application development. Can someone tell me how to reference the wsdl file in my program or any other way to build my application.

  Any account associated user queries/creations - AccountStub
  --> Request: fill AccountQuery, fill AccountQueryPage_Input, call the accountStub.accountQueryPage (input);

  --> Creation: fill AccountData, fill AccountInsert_Input, call the accountStub.accountInsert (input)

  It is the same procedure for the other objects as Contact, lead, opportunity.

  I worked on other web services using Axis2 and "Stub" was one that allows us to connect to the web service.

• Site SSL certificate name mismatch (CRM OnDemand-&gt; java login code SSO)

  I'm new to the web and CRM OnDemand services. I'm building currently a prototype mini - data warehouse that I want to fill with data stored in CRM OnDemand. I use web services to extract the data in my ETL process. I have the code for loggin in the application of the manual on the CRM OnDemand site.
  
  So far my introduction. My problem is that the SSL negotiation fails because it cannot find a valid certificate to the link provided in the manual (https://secure.crmondemand.com/...). Visit the URI with Internet Explorer triggers the warning regarding the name of the certificate (sso.crmondemand.com) does not match is not the name of the website (secure.crmondemand.com). It doesn't make sense to me.
  
  The URI provided in the manual is wrong? I tried to change the URI to match the name of the certificate, but I get another error here. Or is the wrong certificate?

  Hi Bob,

  Can you please provide a specific reference to the version of the document that you are using, and the page that contains the URI? My guess would be that the URI is generic in the manual, however, you must use a URI that points to your CRM On Demand environment.

• Setup Oracle Outlook Email integration On Demand error: register number

  Good day to all-
  
  Hoping that someone has encountered this problem before and it is aware of a solution - I have a user who is unable to install the Oracle Outlook Email integration On Demand for Outlook plug.
  
  Outlook does not run when the installation is done, but a "Severe" pop-up error when installing that says: "Setup could not write all the necessary registry entries. The installation will be interrupted! »
  
  Always see the same problem after a reboot and no other users have a problem installing it - any who have ideas and/or registry entires Setup trying to touch?
