  I want to compare my pfile_old generated a month ago and the spfile current, just to check if there have been changes.

  So, I converted my current spfile to pfile_new. To make the taskeasy...

  Then, I created an external table for this 2 files with the same name.

  But when I compare the values, none are equal?

  Select text1 from pfile_old less select Text2 pfile_new;

  everything is selected in pfile_old.

  How can I fix this?

  Have you looked at the actual data in both files to see what are the real differences?  It is impossible for us to guess what may be different between the files, because we have no idea how the original pfile has been created or maintained.  You have two files.  You know what lines you expect to be the same.  You know, or can know, what are the real differences.

  If, once you know why they are different and determine the algorithm you want to use for comparison, we would be happy to help you to implement this algorithm if you know enough PL/SQL to do.  But you'll have to do the legwork.

  Of course, discover that something has changed by looking at the spfile rather than through good change control process is rather crazy in and of itself.  In the past, you indicated that you are somehow responsible for a large system.  There is no universe in which it makes sense for a DBA of a real production system (not to mention one who claims to have sensitive data or to be 24 x 7) to be surprised by a change in initialization parameter.

  It is a feature of 9i (I don't remember 920 or 901), but what I wanted was that since 11.1, DBCA would create a spfile only and not the pfile file when the database is created via it. I can't seem to find the link of reference and don't really remember not where I read it also. Will update the thread once I will find the exact statement and the source of it.

"She hung the three hard drives to 9 from FCP, has opened the program from Premiere Pro and created a new project file. Then she dragged the files, .mxf per season per show in the Premiere Pro project file. To organize additional files in labels and others per show per season, she decided to redo the project file. She highlighted the files on the window of Premiere Pro and click on delete. She then tried to repeat the move but this time, the program could not read the file type extension. One of our Publisher checked raw materials of the external hds but unfortunately the files is no longer there. Our question is how it happened because according to her, there is no prompt that it will be deleted in the external source files. Please help so that we can avoid it in the future.   First does not remove the files. The option to delete files from the hard drive only appears when you perform offline files in the first project window.

  The editor is sure that she has deleted the files in the window of Premiere project and not on the hard drive itself?

  (1) if the WSDL operation is defined as a medium, then the Ombudsman will be a way.
  (2) if the WSDL operation is defined as asynchronous, then the Ombudsman will be asynchronous.
  (3) if the WSDL operation is defined as synchronous, the Ombudsman will be synchronous.

  Hello
  Because the adapters supplied within ODI supports only the traditional planning applications, you can use ODI with the classic planning for the integration of metadata. This does not mean, however, that you cannot use ODI to feed metadata in in EPMA. You can load the metadata for the tables of the interface and automate integration using EPMA batch utility.
  In addition, you can always use it for data extract & load as essbase is essbase whatever your application is classic or EPMA.

  However, I must admit that it's more convenient to aid with the classic planning. Check out the blog of John Goodwin if you don't.

• Folders Inbox not created from the msf files

  Last week, I noticed that my files in the Inbox folder are not listed in my profile. I posted a question widespread here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/996903

  The answer I received did not help that much. The folder I created appeared on the box remote mailbox as empty folders.

  My email account is synced via IMAP to a remote Zimbra messaging client using STARTTLS. I can view my Inbox. Other folders in my account of the Inbox are not visible. I can send and receive messages from my Inbox.

  When I select 'Manage folder subscriptions' in the account options, I can see the files. When I select them and click the 'Subscribe' button, nothing happens.
  Inspection of my IMAP directory, I see the following structure:

  Msf files are created when I click on the 'Subscribe' button but subsequent Mail files containing the mail are not given (note that non - msf files exist only for "INBOX").
  Deleting the .msf files and restart Thunderbird has no effect.
  When I run the application, the error console reports the following three errors:

  "Could not read"file:///usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions/%7B972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd%7D/chrome.manifest"chrome manifest.

  "- There is no chrome.manifest file in my system files under/usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions / {972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd}".

  "While the creation of the category 'Profile after change' services could not create service entry 'Disk Space Watcher Service', contract ID"@mozilla.org/toolkit/disk-space-watcher;1"

  This is reported as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=883621 and was set to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=895964 , but my system is always up to the error. (I have a lot of disk space. Permissions maybe?)

  Was able to workaround: Server-> advanced settings, deselect the option "See her only subscribed folders" downloads everything. Good enough. I make it as a bug against Thunderbird 24.5.0 this does not happen with these 24.4.0 running

  Hi, since the upgrade to El Capitan, calendar events created from email (hover of dates in an email and more) do not fill a title in the calendar as they did.  They used to use the title of the email as the title of the event - not 'new event '.  In this case if it is set to fill iCloud or google calendars by default.

  Either don't update or delete the app and install it with your existing apple ID.  Data may be lost in doing so.

• Make another copy of the DVD from a DVD created from Windows Movie Maker

  My laptop was stolen recently and, with it, a slideshow (with audio) I had created on Windows Movie maker.  I have a disc I created after the completion of the project.  He plays very well on an external DVD drive.  However, when I download it on my new laptop or try to copy it to another disk, it does not copy as a movie.  It seems that it changes the formats and any copy I made will not play on an external DVD drive.  Is there a copyright protection or something embedded on discs created from Movie maker.  Any advice on how to make a playable copy would be appreciated.

  No copy protection is used.

  How are you trying to copy it?

  You will need something like roxio or nero and their software disc in copy, or import the movie in movie maker and then recreate the dvd disc again from scratch in your creation to dvd.
