RoboForm 7.7.9 blocks Firefox 14.0.1

Firefox has disabled my Roboform toolbar. Then Firefox auto-implementation to date v 14.0.1
I downloaded the latest version of Roboform for Firefox (7.7.9.9)
It installs OK and the smaller version of the Roboform toolbar appears. However, as soon as I try to use Roboform, it crashes Firefox and Firefox restarts with off Roboform.

These accidents look like they have been fixed in Firefox 16, which is currently available for testing on the Aurora channel. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#aurora. Would you mind upgrade to Aurora and test to see if Roboform will crash there?

  • RoboForm does more work with Firefox 30

    After that FF restarted to install 30 FF, I noticed that all traces of Roboform are gone. Otherwise said, I have no option to right click to complete forms, etc. and is no longer a Roboform toolbar. I have a Roboform icon in my systray, but he does nothing with FF.

    I tried a bunch of the usual as suspects obliterating Roboform integration with FF and then reactivating this restart FF, restarting the computer, etc.. Without going so far. I did a search for the number and it sounds like it could be a known issue. I'm under Win 8.1/64-bit.

    Another poster said he received this response from Roboform:

    "Let RoboForm toolbar on a separate line where it was installed at the beginning to make it work in your current version of FireFox."

    I don't know what that means. Can someone explain or otherwise help with this problem? Thanks in advance.

    You need to install 'new' version of Roboform - resembles a patch. http://www.RoboForm.com/support

  • How to stop to block Firefox plugins

    Hello

    Until someone says something, the company mailing list means nothing to me. I don't have a lot of spam and super block quoted text.

    I'm trying to customize Firefox with a deployment file (mozilla.cfg). I use detail 23 because 17.0.8esr is too old interface-wise... even if it works for my current purpose and is my unwanted backup plan. I don't want to reduce my deployment to the 17 tree.

    I have an old piece of software that requires 6 45 java jre to run. Bonus is that it's only works in Firefox.

    However, 23 Firefox has a plugin check utility that disables this version of java. There is a popup indicating it is expired blah blah then turned off automatically. (direct link on the thing, I'm not talking- https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2012/10/11/click-to-play-plugins-blocklist-style/ )

    Is there something in the mozilla.cfg file that I can add to disable this check and just? I don't care if it is old and there is a security risk. I need this software to work. There must be no clicking on things or editing by users... it HAS to be perfect out of the box.

    This thread is 6 months old, I have the same problem, and there is no resolution because it is a "novelty".

    TLDR;

    Within the facility there is a blocklist.xml

    C:\Program files\mozilla firefox\browser
    OR
    C:\Program files (x 86) \mozilla firefox\browser

    This block is there by default and blocks a lot of stuff. You have two options. If you like living dangerously just remove blocklist.xml

    If not, change all the references to java in blocklist.xml

    For fun also add in

    --

    Disabled Plugin Check defaultPref ("plugin.scan.plid.all", false); defaultPref("plugins.update.url","");

    Disable the plugin blocklist lockpref ("extensions.blocklist.enabled", false);

    --

    So he is not actively scan or try to update. I suspect that on a updated version, you will need to re - edit or re - delete it's in the installation program.

  • Toolbar missing Firefox 22 RoboForm. Worked well with Firefox 21

    Firefox updated to v.22 today and the Roboform toolbar is nowhere to be seen. It is in the complementary and activated, but not visible modules through toolbars or the icon to customize toolbars. Everything was fine with Firefox 21. There seems to be a compatibility problem between Roboform and 22 of Firefox. Version installed is Roboform v. 7.8.9.5. Please work with them and to publish an update. We're stuck without it!

    In the meantime, do you have suggestions on how to get this working? Reinstall RF made no difference.

    I just upgraded to Roboform 7.9.0.0 and toolbar works very well with FF22 and Win7.

  • RoboForm does not not in Firefox in sandbox

    Lately, I find that the right click menu of Roboform lack "fill them forms" and "save forms" options Firefox running in the sandbox Sandboxie program. Funny thing is, Roboform works fine in the browser IE sandbox. Also, Roboform works normally in a unsandboxed FF browser.
    I have contacted Roboform support and Sandboxie, which until now could not provide an answer. I am posting this in the hope that someone else has had this problem and has a solution. Thank you!

    I'm not familiar with how Sandboxie works with Firefox, but it seems that Roboform data files are outside the folder of Firefox settings (profile). Is it possible that you need to make an exception in Sandboxie to allow the add-on to Roboform to access its data files, or possibly the module itself?

    Edit: for what it's worth, I noticed that the add-on 'Print the pages as PDF' is also absent from your context menu.

  • Is there an add-on to block Firefox update notifications?

    If Firefox has always been boring when it comes to updates, and he now has a daily window that opens, unless I put to date, which will interrupt me if I play a game or watch a movie. I NEED to break my addons and there is no advantage for me update, only downsides, so I wonder if there is an addon or plugin for Firefox 3 that allows to block update notifications.

    In the version of Firefox that I use (14) there is an option in the preferences to check updates, and one of the options is to "never check for updates". I guess that there is an equivalent option in the version of Firefox you use (I don't have it on the spot, so I can't check myself); You can try this option if you wish.

  • When I try to type on the bar or crashes my firefox search engine. How can I fix? I can surf between sites, but when I try to type something blocking firefox.

    It was a typical day. I wake up and check my places as usual. But this weird problem started suddenly to crash my firefox. When I try to type google search box, firefox search box or bar firefox crashes to address. I use Kaspersky Pure and no sign of the virus. Can I visit the sites normally. Other computers in my house don't crash like this. I'll send this issue on my laptop.

    Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:

    There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

    If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.
