  Hello RoboSource Control community members. I asked this question on the side of RoboHelp and receive no response so I think it's off-topic there and decided to ask here in the hope of getting help.  My team is using RoboHelp6 and Version control on TFS (Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Explorer and Source Control Explorer). We continue running in problems where the changes, in particular, creation or deletion of a folder cause the damaged project and we have to fall back to an earlier correct version. We can also not make the main layout to generate under version control as it blocks of RoboHelp. I have been checking these forums and so far, that I discovered that since I loaded several files that should have been excluded, they can be part of my problem. The files I loaded and should exclude are (projectname.cpd, projectname.pss, projectname.hhp). So my question is this: if I reload the TFS with project and exclude these files (projectname.cpd, projectname.pss, projectname.hhp) that we will be able to generate the available main under version control or not allowed under version control. Another question to ask; before you reload the project is what other files should be excluded when loading? The list have so far is: projectname.cpd projectname.pss projectname.hhp projectname.trl ehlpdhtm.js

  Hi Bob.

  Your list of exclusions is what RSC does with our projects RH6, except that ours isn't .trl files. Don't know what it is.

  I don't think that Firefox is aware of your monitors in a way that would result in the page automatically scroll (or load faster or slower).

  You will need to check on a PC with WinXP OpSys PUP.  Could DO with Win98 and earlier versions.  HOW can I make WinXP let me control BACK PUP?   Acquired CNC machines controlled by PRE - Win.XP PC works fine.  But Win.XP prevents the PUPPY control via simple BACK and GWBASIC.   You want to be able to start/stop all 8 bits of data PUP with BASE and BACK.

• How to add the large number of RoboHelp docs to SharePoint version control

  I'm on RH11 and some versions of SharePoint, which I'm not sure. I am able to add a document to both HR SharePoint Versioning (file > Version control), but I must have about 49 000 with version control in RoboHelp.  I was able to get the files in SharePoint, but now I have to get RoboHelp to be managing the large number of files.

  How can I get RoboHelp to give version control a large number of documents at a time?

  Are - you're talking about individual files or projects? I guess that the individual, since 49 000 project files can be a bit heavy.

  If you add a project to version control, RoboHelp will add all the files in SharePoint. This will take a little time (set HR to add it before you go out for lunch or before going home). At the end of the day, you can check in the entire project in a single click. Or you see something else?

  You can still manipulate the files .apj of HR to very quickly add loads of files to a project. If you have files in SharePoint, you can update the FPJ files (use the following script: missing subject Fixer). Then remove the CPD and start the project.

  different tools have benefits different and different tools suit different companies and how projects that are managed or how the development is made etc..

  Some people may prefer to use these tools just for the development of the code, but for example use the CCS for source code management and version control, then develop their own unit test scripts, or have dedicated 3rd party tools in order to test the individual unit, business, test system etc. of test cases.

  Without knowing your company's configuration and requirements in detail, it would be difficult to say that one thing is better than the other in most cases.

  Some PDFs (dynamic XFA forms) created in Adobe LiveCycle can be opened in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat. When you try to open these files in an alternative PDF reader, then you will see this error message.

  Unfortunately, it is not easy to remove this message and change the PDF file so that it can be opened in the alternative PDF viewers. The person who created the original form must recreate the shape using the options that do not restrict viewers PDF can open and view the file.

  Adobe has made the decision that since very few non-Adobe products are supported on these PDF files special, it is best to show this message - and require the user to download Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat - that is to let the PDF Viewer try to view the document. You can ask the user to drive - extend documents so that you can view it with Adobe Reader.

  I followed all the steps described in the User Guide and built a test application... followed all the steps to sign. I'm back where I want to load it and post it on my devices iOS and need help.

  This is my first build of the app; the Guide says Adobe "use iTunes, Xcode or another method to load the application signed to your iOS device.

  1. can anyone recommend a tutorial online for this step? I don't know how to load the software for an overview with iTunes or Xcode.

  My application is signed - and I got the message that the signed copy is stored next to the unsigned signature tool App publication Adobe copy.

  2. where does it save these files? If the application is built in the cloud, where is the signed app files?  The publish.adobe.com/appbuilder screen still shows my application as an "application not signed."

  To find out how to load the signed applet (.ipa) on the device iOS through iTunes, please refer to the "Installation of your App on Test Devices" section on this page Apple Developer.

  The Adobe Digital Publishing Solution platform only stores the version unsigned app. The signed app generated by the signature publication Adobe App tool will be local on your computer, in the same directory that the unsigned application has been downloaded. that is, if the unsigned application has been downloaded to the default of 'Download' folder, then the signed app (with the suffix "-signed") will also be in the "Download" folder

  Version control is characteristic of the SharePoint document library, if it is enabled in so you can have the version control for any type of word or pdf file. MS office documents can be easily editable in the browser and can create a new version while you can't edit PDFs, but in 2013 of SharePoint, you can view a PDF file in browsers.

  Whenever you download a pdf with the same file, document library will create a new version for it.
