  It is somewhat a generic question.

  different tools have benefits different and different tools suit different companies and how projects that are managed or how the development is made etc..

  Some people may prefer to use these tools just for the development of the code, but for example use the CCS for source code management and version control, then develop their own unit test scripts, or have dedicated 3rd party tools in order to test the individual unit, business, test system etc. of test cases.

  Without knowing your company's configuration and requirements in detail, it would be difficult to say that one thing is better than the other in most cases.

• Kuler integration with Photoshop and Flash?

  It would be nice to see some kuler integration with Photoshop and Flash. I love Illustrator Panel and want to Photoshop and Flash could use it. Unfortunately, the Flash has no support of ESA (probably a legacy of Macromedia) and would require an update to do so. Photoshop has full support ESA. A panel kuler to Photoshop is exactly what people need. This time, I save the swatches and then open them in Photoshop, without successful integration. Implementation of the Illustrator is great. • Multi-authoring with source with RH10 and RH11 control

  Location:

  • Writer runs RH10. Writer opens the A project, Visual Studio Source control, which is connected to a Team Foundation Server.
  • A new employee, writer B, gave RH11.
  • A writer cannot install RH11 until after mid-June because of the tight programs (cannot afford any upgrade).
  • Writer B is supposed to work on the same project. (We know that RoboHelp does not support check the same file at the same time).

  If writer B configures its RH11 version work with TFS and Source code control, can open A project and work on it (from Source code control) without causing problems for A Scripting Guy?

  The scenario that expose you, (unless I'm missing something) I don't think. Writer B certainly could open A project. But from the opening, she will receive a dialog box asking that she 'upgrade' it format Rh11. Unfortunately, it is a one-way street. Once converted, A writer could not then open it in Rh10. enter here for workaround solutions, perhaps writer B could create content in Word that you could import or 'Link' to your project Rh10 and regularly updated until June, but it's probably not practice. Maybe someone else has a better idea?

• URM11g integration with Sharepoint

  I use the following specifications to integrate URM11g with Sharepoint.
  
  -> URM11g
  -> URM_SharePointAdapter_64bit
  -> Sharepoint 2007 SP2
  -> database: OracleXE11g
  
  I installed the card in the sharepoint server computer and now trying to run the database script to create the tables, but could not able to run the script successfully set up the ODBC data source and it communicates with the database server as well. Executing database script, I get "* ERROR [HY000] [Oracle] [ODBC] [Ora] ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object *" for table AGENT_DATA, so I dropped the table and reatrted the database installation utility, but this time get a different as Message * "arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow" *, for the AGENT_DATA table. Can you please tell me how I can proceed with this installation?

• Structure of the event with gray and disabled controls

  I'm working on a data acquisition program that uses the structure of the event to manage the graphic user interface.  I have a 'start logging' button that raises an event when the value changes and starts to collect data.  While collecting data, the program disables and gray on all controls on the front panel except the button "stop logging" that ends a while loop with in the event of data logging.  If this event is active only when you press "stop recording."  There are other events that are triggered by a mouse up/down, action others controls disabled on the front panel.  The problem is that, while the program collect data if you click on one controls disabled and gray that has a mouse up/down, event, the program seems to hang and will not push the button ' stop logging.  I don't know if his attempts to run another event, but he continues to logging data, I just can't stop it.  I have to use the Cancel button to stop the program.

  The real problem is that a control, even when disabled and grayed out, can still trigger a mouse to the high-low event - controlled, it true?  Also, what happens if an event is raised during execution, another event my understanding was that a single event can run at a time.

  By reading between the lines, here a bit...  Looks like you have your data collection and logging code in the box to Start Logging event.  If so, this is part of the problem.  No other case of event cannot run until this one is over.  Move data collection and the registration code to a parallel loop.  Have this loop to sit in an inactive state until you press the Start Logging button.  Then, in case for the button change send a command via a queue to the loop of logging and out the case of the event.  The event loop is then immediately ready to respond to the next event.

  Generally the code within a case of event should run quickly, no more than 10s of milliseconds for maybe 100 ms to avoid slow response to another event.

  Look at the producer/consumer (events) design pattern which comes with LV for an example.

  I intend to incorporate Hyperion Workspace and Shared Services with OBIEE.

  The environment is windows server 2008 R2 64-bit OS, Hyperion 11.1.2.3 64-bit, Obiee 11.1.1.7 64-bit and the database is Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2.0.1.0) - 64-bit.

  We plan to install the EPM system on the same computer on which Oracle BI EE or BI Publisher are installed, can I install two different homes of Middleware? are can I install unique Middleware?

  What product I nead install first? (I plan to install Hyperion first, then set up once I intend to install and configure obiee is correct process)

  After the installation and configuration of hyperion products both obiee I nead to set up all the extra activities for the integration of hyperion (workspace and shared services) with obiee?

• Problem with Skype and its control on Windows 7 64 bit

  I am using Windows 7 64 bit on a Dell XPS laptop. When I use a voip or Messenger (Skype, smartvoip or gtalk) application, use the sound control (speaker or mic) makes the application and his PC is not responding. Only the problem resolves after restarting the PC and back again when I try to use the sound controls while using voip. I also tried to uninstall each of the applications and use individually but still have the problem.

• How to improve integration with to and not

  There is a previous process that fills data doc_t.id. Lines normally about 10,000. Subsequently the main process is running:

  How can we improve the insertion / design? Some options: we think:
  -document_t of partition and run processes parallel (permit required)
  -transfer doc_t into a temporary table

• RoboHelp6 and TFS Version control - how to load and records local syncronize team members

  My team is using RoboHelp6 and Version control on TFS (Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Explorer and Source Control Explorer).  We are looking for the right way to load a new project and the right way to get the team in harmony with the project. The process we have used to date is as follows:

  The head of the team takes the existing project and load into a local folder that is the local folder to be used by the control of Source of TFS. The head of the team opens the project through RoboHelp and then made a backup of all and generates a main page layout. The Leqader team uses then add it to Source code control option to add the project of TFS Source control. The members of the team and then create a local folder for use with the control of Source of TFS and team leader sends a complete project of its local folder and which is copied to the local folder. Member of the team then open RoboHelp and using Version control options to bind TFS (Team Foundation Server) and the Source code control folder where the project is located. The team members should now be able to edit the project.

  If I missed a step or a step added by mistake, please advise.

  With RSC, there are a couple of tweaks to the procedure, as follows. TFS may work the same way.

  Before the authors try to open the project, they should make their initial connection to the db by RSC. All they need do is open the RSC Explorer, connect to the project and then close RSC. After that, they should be able to simply open the project in HR and have it connect on its own. (When they start with a copy of the project files, it does this a little simpler words. The project will immediately try to make the connection to source control).

• RoboHelp6 and TFS Version control and to exclude files

  Hello RoboSource Control community members. I asked this question on the side of RoboHelp and receive no response so I think it's off-topic there and decided to ask here in the hope of getting help.  My team is using RoboHelp6 and Version control on TFS (Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Explorer and Source Control Explorer). We continue running in problems where the changes, in particular, creation or deletion of a folder cause the damaged project and we have to fall back to an earlier correct version. We can also not make the main layout to generate under version control as it blocks of RoboHelp. I have been checking these forums and so far, that I discovered that since I loaded several files that should have been excluded, they can be part of my problem. The files I loaded and should exclude are (projectname.cpd, projectname.pss, projectname.hhp). So my question is this: if I reload the TFS with project and exclude these files (projectname.cpd, projectname.pss, projectname.hhp) that we will be able to generate the available main under version control or not allowed under version control. Another question to ask; before you reload the project is what other files should be excluded when loading? The list have so far is: projectname.cpd projectname.pss projectname.hhp projectname.trl ehlpdhtm.js

  Your list of exclusions is what RSC does with our projects RH6, except that ours isn't .trl files. Don't know what it is.
