  ... and more congestion is what will put in place and not a recommended solution.

  I have a router WNDR3400 wireless and have problems connecting to a media streaming device. I tried a Roku and Amazon streaming the stick. During installation, the Unit continuously can see my wireless network, after entering my password (set to WPA2-PSK) network the device continuously fails to connect. I tried to turn off security (only as a test, would not keep my network open), but get the same result, a connection failure.

  I've never had this problem with another PC devices, ipads, iphones and android phones, and a DVD player to connect it all and run normally to the router. Would appreciate suggestions on how to correct this problem. I bought my router in 2012, so I have to pay for the support of Netgear, I'd rather have a new router instead. Thank you.

  Try to change the wireless password to something simpler. Perhaps, the Roku or Amazon can't handle special characters. Don't forget that Wi - Fi passwords are case-sensitive.

  Hmm, your original post says that they cannot connect without security at all. It's really weird. Try to perform a factory reset.

  To set the priority high for your Roku, you must activate the service QOS on your router. Your dosent WGA600N include any sort of special parameters. You just activate the service QOS on your router and this might solve your problem.

  Hi, I don't have the same problem and maybe this isn't the place, but I tried to install a ROKU and we could find internet, find the local network, and when we went for the updates it fails.

  I have firmware depending on the computer, the Version of the Firmware: v5.00.33 and their technicians tell me to update my firmware.

  I can't find any firmware list, and which is now available. Anyone know where I can find this information? I have a WPA Personal, protection, TKIP password and it took everything took off the firewall settings, all with no result. I have since put everything on.

  Have old PC running on Windows XP, connected to the Roku via wireless Media Player 11 library... works like a charm.

  A new PC running Vista, connected via even wireless, Media Player 11 but Roku continues to tell me that it can't find my music library. My sharing is enabled on MP11. My music library is marked as "shared".

  My new PC speak the Roku through my wireless, I can update time etc. using my internet explore.
