Roll back LR CC? Horrible import "feature"

Absolutely, I HATE the new cc LR6 import feature.

I can't find the folder for my newly imported photos. The photos are there in LR... no record. I'm furious. The records are not be added to the folder structure that I'm used to.

I can roll back my LR. ?? I really, really can't focus on it. It's horrible. Why it has been messed with in this measure, I don't know. I'm seriously tempted to go to the Photo of the affinity to a single payment of £40. I want my old LR back.

  • Linksys E4200 - can update firmware and roll backs damage my router?

    Hello

I had to restore the firmware on my Linksys E4200 (v2) because I had problems after upgrading the firmware. I tried to upgrade again and again met with problems. In short, I improved a few times and restored several times. Currently I'm on the old firmware and I without any problem.

In the old days, it was not wise to update the firmware of some peripheral hardware too often, because some devices has agreed that a limited number of updates to firmware... don't ask me why :-)

Is this also the case with the Linksys E4200 or can I upgrade and roll back as often as the requires, or as often as I want to try to upgrade because of new features...?

    Thank you

    SJW

As long as you do the right steps during the upgrade/downgrade the router (loading the firmware using a wired computer, not to interrupt the upgrade/downgrade process, load the right file, etc.), the unit should be fine.

  • Impossible to do a clean install on a Partitioned drive C - the screen of the Machine is a "black screen" after Microsoft NVidia driver updated optional; Cannot roll back.

Some time before, Microsoft had an optional update for the NVidia graphics driver on a 32-bit F3V ASUS laptop.

Prior to that, everything worked perfectly. The only problem was with this 'bad' optional driver update that was installed once before; and got the black screen, but managed to make it back this time.

The machine has two partitions; both have a defined password.

I lost the password to one of them and have no backup.

Until the black screen, antivirus updates have been updated.

    The equipment works properly.

Other than a slight overheating issue while games graphics w/3D acceleration (83 degrees Celsius), the machine works pretty much perfectly.

The machine display perfectly in safe mode.

    Done the following:

    (1) roll back; has failed because the regular (important) Windows Update has not created a restore point * and * previous restore points had been erased.

    (2) the Startup Repair (without and then with the Windows 7 installation disc). Message says "unable to repair.

    (3) w/installer disk, went to the command line as an administrator, tried to format c: received message "there is not enough space on this partition. Please allocate more space, and then try again. "

    (4) boot safe mode with network, downloaded and successfully installed the updates of the NVidia - graphics driver and still have the black screen to normal startup.

Went 5) for computer management and cleanmgr without success.

I'm almost ready to consider a shop.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

Have you checked the Web site of the manufacturer for a software dashboard updated?

Try to uninstall the modem driver and dashboard software. It is a USB modem, right?

Click Start, type: programs and features

    Press enter on your keyboard

Scroll down and tap the Modem software, select it and click on uninstall

    Restart if prompted.

You will need to reinstall the software, but this time do it using the compatibility problems

USB modems usually have the software to be installed on the Flash DRIVE itself, otherwise, go to the website of manufacturer and download the software.

    Point to the driver files.

Right-click on the configuration file, and then click "troubleshoot compatibility".

    Wait, it detects the problem.

Click on the option "worked in an earlier version of Windows.

Select Windows 7 RTM or better Windows Vista SP2

    Click next

Click Start the program, wait, it installs

When the installation is complete, click Finish and save the settings.

Try to connect the Internet once again.

  • Vista upgrade to windows 7 does not and could not roll back to vista

I bought a retail pack for the Windows 7 upgrade. I tried to install it yesterday evening - took to always (more than 4 hours) and froze in several places for more than an hour. At the last second stage (installation of windows features) - he crashed and closed. Reboot, it says "set to level failed - rolling to the previous operating system". After about 1/2 hour of rolling back - it crashed again - blue screen "STOP: c000021a.» System fatal error. Process of initial session or the processes of the system ended unexpectedly with an error code of 0 x 000000000 (0xc00000001 0x0010037c). system was stopped.

the laptop (a Dell Studio 1555) cannot be started and is not an operating system. A terrible catastrophe for what seemed like a simple upgrade. I followed all the instructions in the Windows tutorial "upgrade Windows vista to windows 7 ', no warning that I should set out a clean boot which I've since found in blogs. I'm mad at Microsoft for releasing a product that will destroy my system when you follow their instructions.

I obviously need to re - install an OS - my question is... I have an other laptop Dell Studio 1555 which came with windows 7 and I have the installation disc. Can I use this disc to do a fresh install on this laptop and use the product key that came with Windows 7 upgrade disc?

Otherwise, it will be a long and difficult process of re - install Vista, upgrade to SP1 and upgrade to Windows 7, and then potentially have fail again. Please notify.

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • Can I roll back after updating to Windows 8?

I am very happy to upgrade to Windows 8, but I'm afraid that my graphics card might not work with it. I tried the preview and was wrong with it. If I install Windows 8 on top of Windows 7 and the card does not work, is it possible to go back to Windows 7. So, I'd rather not dual boot it because I would move in Windows 8 with all my programs and files already there.

    Hello SebastianZHD,

There not a roll-back feature to return to Windows 7 of widows 8. It will be necessary to reinstall Windows 7 from the installation media.

    Hi RDPhotography,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

As mentioned by Keith, yes we are aware of the current issues with the last update of Lightroom and are currently working on this issue.

For now, I suggest you follow the steps below:

    • Go to the Lightroom preferences > General > uncheck 'show add photos screen '.
    • Lightroom preferences > Performance > uncheck "use the graphics processor.
    • Restart Lightroom, and check if you are able to import
    • If the steps above do not help, then roll back to the last version and refer to this article for the same thing: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/roll-back-to-prior-update.html

  • Roll back to AE2014?

Is there a way to roll back my upgrade from AE2015 back to AE2014? Unfortunately, I did not retain the previous version and kicking myself for not to do so and be naïve enough that AE2015 would be 'better '. Unfortunately, there are a few features missing in 2015 that really hinder my workflow, so I prefer to go back to 2014 so I can stay productive.

You can easily install the previous versions. See below:

  • How to roll back versions of Firefox - Firefox is updraded without my consent and now selenium does not work

Since Firefox has been automatically upgraded to version 24, selenium IDE no longer works.

It's very frustrating because I had not requested an upgrade (this has caused me problems in the past)

so, while I wait for a solution to the question of selenium, how can I roll back to an earlier version of Firefox (that works with Selenium IDE)

    Here are 23 https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/23.0.1/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%2023.0.1.exe [en]

  • Gmail said "some important features may not work in this version of your browser, if you have been directed to the basic HTML version. Upgrade to a modern, like Google Chrome browser. Try the standard version in any case. "

When I visit Gmail using Firefox version 8.0 (running w7) I get this message: "important features may not work in this version of your browser, if you have been directed to the basic HTML version. Upgrade to a modern, like Google Chrome browser. Try the standard version in any case. "

When I click "Try Standard Version Anyway" it works, but for some reason, Gmail is say that Firefox 8.0 is not a modern browser. Also, whenever I visit Gmail, he returned to the basic HTML version... ba.

It seems that Google is trying to make you switch to Chrome. I would stick with Firefox, but Gmail is an important part of my browsing...

I found the solution... browsing around, I found this link:

    Filter the results with:
