  Also, as the hard disk can be partitioned as TPG, you must start the computer by using the "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" or "UEFI - USB Flash drive" options in the boot menu "F9". • Need help with this problem without downgrading from Vista to XP pro.

  OK so I have a problem, but it is in a common category, it is a rare problem as given that everywhere I look I can't seem to find someone who has the same problem.

  Question #1: Heres Alright so my question downgrade from vista 64 bit of the month last to XP pro SP2... Well, I'm going through the process of installation very well, wipe the hard drive, make new partion (or how ever spell you it) etc. It starts the formatting, and it installs everything seems to be fine. Now when it comes to the reboot screen it counts down it restarts correctly now, this is where the problem occurs. During the restart of the process rather than continue through the installation process which should be, where it says "Press any key to boot from the CD" soon after that instead of going into the installation process it says "disc read error" or something of the sort just underneath. Help, please!

  Question #2 also now that I re installed vista I did all good also, erased the hard disk (even I tried to install XP on) just to make sure they had no data on this. Well now, during startup it asks if I want "a previous version of windows" or "Windows XP" as if I double started somehow. Vista loads still very well when I choose it however. If I managed to do an install own success of XP it should fix right?

  Thanks for posting. Follow these steps on your XP disk.

  1. place your Windows XP installation CD and start to her...
  2. Press any button to start the Windows installation (don't worry... we do not actually use the installer at this point)
  3. wait a few moments for the installation program starts, when you see repair an installation of Windows XP using the Recovery Console, and then press the R key
  4. wait until you see this screen, enter the number of your master installation. (Typically 1 to C:\Windows)
  5. press ENTER.
  6. If you are prompted to do so, enter your administrator password. If you don't have one, leave the field blank and press to enter.
  7. from the command prompt, type: chkdsk/r (note the space between chkdsk and / r)
  Allow it to complete undisturbed.
  8. remove the disc, then restart.

  After completing this, then format it and try to reinstall XP again. As for your other question if completely format you your drive using XP you should not see the previous version of XP. The only reason you would see that it's the Vista BCD is located on a second hard drive in your computer. If this is the case and you want to do an install own format two readers please.

  First of all you must be about 0.42 or 0,58 firmware to be able to root like 0.62 is quite difficult at the root with locked bootloader

  So first Flash your phone with 0.42

  Wan't to know how flasher?

  See downgrading to part of gingerbread here

  Once you flash 0.42 then root your mobile as follows

  (1) turn on "USB DEBUGGING" from (Menu\Settings\Applications\Development)

  2) allow to "UNKNOWN SOURCES" of (Menu\Settings\Applications)

  (3) connect the USB cable to the PHONE and then connect to the PC

  (4) jump "PC Companion Software" prompt on the device

  5 you'll see ad drivers install on your PC, let him complete

  (6) download this extracted with winrar and click runme.bat

  (7) it will root your device, follow the procedure

  This module is an important for me and thousands of other institutions. Unfortunately, this very useful add-on and the feature has now gone to my FF from 17... Many people are without downgrading or refusing to upgrade only because it will break this add-on.

  In FF17, a major change was made to the return value of the function tosource beat not only this but many other modules as well. Now I don't have a problem with a change in standards and demanding that everyone to update the code to work with it. But this has been managed in completely the wrong way by Mozilla IMO.

  Where is the support for the community of the add-on that has loyally supported your product all these years and giving them a good chance of migration/change code works with the new function return values?
  Why is there no timetable with a phase-in plan and a date limit for these changes?

  Heck, a phase-in plan could include a period of transition where the service would support two methods by issuing an additional parameter for the new feature. Then you can switch the main return gradually to be the new format. The existing plugins path would still be fine.

  It seems a little horrible from the end-user point of view suddenly not having this nice tool that enhances the experience of firefox so much. I know that many feel this way even on this add-on I've seen countless comments on it, and I'm sure that many others feel that way about the modules they use and which are now broken too.

  I am writing here to ask Mozilla to propose a fix, or the whole community to see if there is a workaround/half measure that could be found. Perchance write a function JS that could be included/injected in the addons broken convert/reformat the response to this function call so it remains usable to them with the data they need?

  I really hope that someone can find a temporary solution for everyone until more permanent can be developed.

  Hi, I just bought a new computer with Win 8 HP, because no one is selling computers with Windows 7. My computer is a laptop HP Pavilion 14 14-n026la

  After 2 days I've had enough, want to come back to Win 7. Win 8 is meaningless and it is slow, among other issues of privacy, I don't like. Also I need some work programs that are not supported on Win 8.  I have already said that you lose your hardware warranty if you change to win 7? Can this be true?

  Pelase let me know, otherwise I'll take the computer to the store immediately and replace it with another computer from another brand of equipment. I still have a week left.

Reading the posts here, I see that HP has said that they will not provide Win 7 drivers for new computers. (If that's true, it's so crazy. Don't you think that we are without downgrading just for fun? Nobody wanted to get Win7 to Vista or XP in Win 98). These positions are relatively old, so I hope that HP changed his mind during all this time.

  Glad to be back in Windows 7! It's amazing to see the amount of energy, that Microsoft has invested in preventing us from unistalling Windows 8. They would do better to invest all this huge energy in the creation of best operating systems. We would all be better off.

  Double click on the entry of the webcam in DM. If it is there. Go to the Details tab / change hardware ID. Copy (highlight / press Ctrl + c) to copy whats here. Then paste it here or Google.

  There are other brands of laptops, etc. which may use the same cam but have Windows 7 x 64 drivers

  Hello: I have a problem with Desktop Manager downgrading Docs-to-Go - premium v1.007 to v1.006.053.  Dataviz which makes the Docs to Go says on their site that earlier versions of Office Mr. had this problem to downgrade but that BlackBerry had solved the problem with DM 4.7.  When I upgraded to 4.7 DM because the program would not downgrade Docs to Go, but recently when I tried to install the software on my BB Tour 9630 Desktop 4.7 M began downgrading Docs to Go Premium v1.007 to v1.006.053.   I've upgraded Deskitop M to 5.0 and it also downgrdes Docs to Go to the old version.   Anyone has an idea why M Desktop is without downgrading my Docs to go to and older version and how can I go to try to solve the problem?   Thanks: Jon

  Have you applied your package of peripheral carriers OS to your PC (at the top of DTM)? You can find that here:

  The device operating system package changes the DTM basic installation that is appropriate for your BB to your carrier... that would have some version of the ToGo applications that frees your carrier. If Yes, you may have to substitute the DTM installation by moving the files of cod for your version of ToGo in the operating system package install so that DTM will recognize your version of ToGo applications.

  In IIS under properties it is a "Virtual directory" tab that has a path lacal field you can point to the folder to make it to the root. And it takes effect without restarting IIS.
