Route transfer to phone office google map

I have several routes on my Mac in Yosemite OS X for a three weeks bike ride.  Previously, I used email to send to my phone, but I do not use this service on my iPhone 5 more.

I read where you go to "notifications" in the settings, select Google maps and 'allow' your office send a file to your iPhone.  I don't see anything of the sort "notifications" after update the phone, I can not find anywhere to "send" a map of google on the phone file.  I received a Google ID to search this site, also without success.  Any help would be appreciated!

I would be happy again the entire journey on the cards of Apple, if the new version is a bit more friendly, and I could synchronize my computer with phone mapping file.

    Hello

If your applications do not appear in the implementation in the app shows, it can help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • Google maps route with Labview

I have a project where I need to generate driving directions between two points on Google maps and use the database Google KLM / or any other database to determine how many miles were driven in each State where the road.

Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish this task.

    Hello Christopher,

I could find a few documents that should help you get started.

First of all, I found a tutorial for using the JavaScript API of Google Charts with LabVIEW.  It uploads the data to a web service using SQLite and JSON.  You can modify this example to load the data on a web server running the Google Maps API, and then download the distance.

Secondly, I found a document using MySQL and PHP to interface with Google Maps.

You can use the LabVIEW database tool to access MySQL databases. For this toolbox user's Guide will get you started with these screws

  • Amtrak Train map tracking: not allowed to use Google Maps Client ID

Amtrak introduced a card to follow up on their Web site at http://www.amtrak.com/train-routes.

To access this feature by clicking on the "Get followed now > > >" link (Javascript required), a Google with Amtrak routes map begins to display, and then stops. A dialog box error including 'this site is not allowed to use the Google Maps provided client ID,' is displayed.

This feature to function correctly on Internet Explorer 10 and even own Google browser Chrome. The only browser in which it fails is Firefox. I upgraded FF23 FF24 without change. I tried a restart of the FF24 in Mode safe... no change. I disabled and enabled Java, Flash, Silverlight without change.

    Firefox 24.0 on Windows 7 64 bit.

    Hello GP49,.

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

Please report back to see if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • Issue of domain Google Maps and service

    Hello!

I have a question about Google Maps and service areas.

If I'm traveling and I'm going in and out of phone service, my google maps will continue to navigate?

    Thanks for all the answers!

You're right Jay, but there is a setting in the cards that you may want to check. Open the cards and press on Menu > more > Cache settings > Prefetch on mobile. I think this make sure that once you have set up a route that she will prefetch all necessary tiles and store them on the phone so that if you lose a data connection that you will not lose the card too.

Maps are directly related to your data connection. Even if the phone has a GPS signal, it will be able only to view or obtain cards if she has a data connection. If the phone Prérécupère all the tiles in a particular card that the data connection is not necessary and you won't have to worry about entering into the poor reception or no service areas. I hope this helps.

  • Problem with Google Maps blackBerry Smartphones?

Hi, I'm having a lot of problems with the Google Maps download.

I just got my blackberry a couple of weeks, and google maps is a feature that I really need.

I have download it without problems, and then when I opened the application I can search for a place with no trouble.

However, I can't find any more places. If I enter another address, I get the 'getting directions' screen and he's looking for hours and hours. Finally, I just delete the program and reinstall it if I want to search for another location.

Why should I do this? Is there something wrong with my phone?

    Upgrade to the latest OS:

See the link below for download and simple installation instructions.

    http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-8500-series-discussion-Gemini/235791-latest-OS-8520-5-0-0-13...

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • I have a scooter that can not go on the road. It is a navigation problem for cards from Apple and Google Maps for the watch. Does anyone have a solution?

    Hello

I recently got a scooter that goes from a maximum of 40 mph and cannot legally go on the highways. I was worried about navigation on the thing, since I can't hear my phone, but I thought the directions can get sent to my watch. My problem is that Google Maps can really follow the navigation on the watch, so I can still see the signs when I put my wrist; still, he turns back to the lock screen. So I stop, remove my gloves, and pull up the directions. On the other hand, Apple cards can't do navigation for bicycles or avoiding the road. I tried to use cards of Apple walking directions, thinking I can correct errors on one-way streets myself, but Siri decided I was going too fast, spent my navigation to drive and tried to send me on the highway.

Anyone has a solution, or am I better off memorizing the card before entering the thing?

    Thank you!

    Hello

To have your watch to return to the last used app to raise your wrist:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > General > screen Wake > under the heading "Raise the wrist", choose the RESUME last activity.

If we consider how you could use your watch, note the safety information important in the Apple Watch user's Guide, which includes sections headed Distraction and Navigation:

  • Firefox appears correctly Google maps

I use Firefox 18.0.1 which I think is the most recent version, on a PC. When Google maps comes up, the bar zoom and all the other buttons and controls on the map itself are much, much too small. Small enough to be almost unusable, even if they are functional. The map itself seems to be more of the screen than before.

Firefox works fine on Mapquest (for example). The Internet browser explore (Microsoft) works fine on Google maps. It's just the particular combination of Firefox and Google maps which has a problem. Any suggestions?

Hello dmg456, please try pressing ctrl + 0 ("zero") while you are on google maps to make the zoom level of the page.

in the case where this does not solve the problem the other common troubleshooting steps in the Web sites look bad or display differently they should be routed

  • Google maps 'Directions' does not not with Firefox 8

I've upgraded to Firefox 8 recently.
Since the upgrade however, the function of "Directions" in Google maps will not work. It shows the origin and destination of the premises, but refuses generate a route.
Simply, it freezes on the loading screen

The same function works perfectly well under "Internet Explorer" and "Chrome" on the same machine.
All the Java and Flash are fully updated.
    Any suggestion is welcome.

  • Google maps 'directions' between two points stopped working in firefox

When using google maps to find the route between two points "Get Directions", he will just stand here loading... never finish and showing the routes between locations.
It used to work fine a month ago. I didn't expect the update to Firefox.

I opened the Camino to test on this browser google maps and since I did open Camino in a month or so he asked upgraded but also verified 'Flash' and asked at this level because it was outdated. I have tried re google maps "get directions" between two points on Firefox after the Flash update and it worked!
It is a pity that so much of the web is based on Flash. Yes its cool but its also a huge pain. I wanted to just quickly answer my own post in case others are having similar problems and simply update Flash.
    See you soon

  • Atrix 2: ensure that GPS is off, Google Maps?

The ATT data plan charge a monthly supplement for the GPS. This user doesn't have this feature. I'm paranoid that an application will automatically activate GPS and start monthly. Happens? Should I take steps to ensure that the GPS cannot be enabled by an app?

The app from Google Maps useful apears. However, when I start it up, the application seems to know where it is. It uses the GPS? If not, does anyone know how the software knows where's the phone?

ATT Chargers to use their Soft navagation no GPS. You can uninstall this app and other apps ATT in the app drawer.

The GPS is free to use with all the other apps. There is no charge for him just that app ATT.

GPS is a good thing to have, so use it since its free.

  • Saved on my google maps locations

    Hello

I have a few sites registered on my google maps. How can I tell my moto360 watch to navigate to one of the saved?

    Anyone know?

    Thanks in advance.

    Update:

I discovered how do now after messing around with it. You start browsing the location of registration via Google Maps on your phone first , and then the watch will be kick and show step by step instructions. This feature does not work via 'google Ok' on the watch.

Hope this will help someone in need.

    And thank you all.

  • No name street spoken in Google Maps

After the updates of software and phone I have now no spoken in Google Maps street names.

I don't have that generic "turn left" or "turn right".

I checked and language strings are defined on the English of the United States for speech output.

I also tried to erase the data and hide TT in Maps and Google?

    Suggestions?

This isn't your phone, but the last google map updated.

  • Can data preload Google map 4.5?

.. While the Navigation doesn't have to're - get' the information every time you switch to a different application? (Droid X Froyo 2.2.1) (I don't have a data unlimited 3g)

For example, while the wifi connected, I put a true destination on Google Maps/Nav, leave this box WAP, and Nav works the entire trip.

BUT, I just noticed that if I pass navigation (maps), even to the home screen, when I switch to Navigation, he wants to "Get directions" again (although even he already had them). This means that I won't be able to listen to / change the track in Winamp, for example, that kind of sucks for a long drive.

I have read suggestions for 'preload' map data on wifi before one trip to minimize or eliminate the use of 3 G for the Navigation data, but I don't see anyway to get Google Maps 4.5 to do.

I think the answer is that we can't.

    Am I missing something?

    Any suggestions?

    P. S.

I think that Google Maps 5 can "cache" cards. That would allow me to do what I want here and move the apps back? (I don't mind a minimal use of the given 3 G for a small re-mapping if I change the route in transit BTW)

I also read a good number of comments of problem with version 5 which concern me...

    Any guidance is appreciated.

5.0 shows the same problem. Too bad, I like many things about this on CoPilot. (has no problem since all its ' maps are pre-loaded on SD)

CP has some nice features and works very well, just that, overall, I preferred GMaps.

CP has a major problem. Is when he puts muted Winamp to 'talk', he peut/don't generate the browser volume so you have to listen to 'very hard' to hear next. Bug? Coding control? Who knows.

In any case, CP is at the moment.

Ah, found this: crude Google Maps (for caching):

    http://Forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887

I have that will certainly give a go soon.

Thus in such, 4.5 cannot be cached maps, but it seems 5.0 can. HOWEVER, the app still requires that sense be "obtained" every time emphasis is placed out to him to another application and then back - even if the GPS shows your route has not changed. A coding 'control' in my humble OPINION. (This applies even if you just go 'Home').

For this reason, G-cards uses a large amount of data, not necessarily. Not good for those of us on the budgets of limited data.

    Thank you all.

  • Google Maps location

    Hello

I just got my Droid yesterday and learn 'the ropes '.

One thing that baffled me is when I go into my google maps, he has my position to address about 6 miles from here where I am.

    How can I change?

I gave my address when I bought the phone, but one that shows is one I have not or recognize.

    TIA

    Suz

When you open Google Maps and click on my position, it should start to try to get a precise GPS to your position fix.  You will see the icon GPS flashes in the status bar until the phone is a fix.  Then, it will remain solid until you lose the fix.

It is possible that you have found a vague place of WiFi or cell network if you still see the GPS icon flashes.
