Google maps 'Directions' does not not with Firefox 8
I've upgraded to Firefox 8 recently.
Since the upgrade however, the function of "Directions" in Google maps will not work. It shows the origin and destination of the premises, but refuses generate a route.
Simply, it freezes on the loading screen
The same function works perfectly well under "Internet Explorer" and "Chrome" on the same machine.
All the Java and Flash are fully updated.
Any suggestion is welcome.

I don't know what you were trying to reach wrt VMware. It is clear from the above command that you have no idea of what you do on the CLI. Your other comments it seems that you try arbitrary commands you have picked up various items without understanding what they mean.
Stop it. It will do you no good. -

Integration of Google map with Map Viewer does not work
Hi team,
My MapViewer Version: Ver11_1_1_7_B130111
I created a Google Map (with the Source as "Google Maps" map Type) in the map viewer Oracle and I could see google map in Oracle Map Viewer (using 'show Map').
I wanted to show a theme of map of the village on the google map above in a web page and I use Jdeveloper to integrate with data from the Village map viewer. I could see that the google maps within Jdeveloper however when I run the code Jdeveloper google map does not appear within the web page.
I tried with Oracle Maps, Bing Maps as 'source' in the map viewer and tried to integrate within Jdeveloper and achieved the same result (white screen). However, when I tried an another mapviewer (Base map ELOCATION. OracleFMW MapViewer House WORLD_MAP) I could see the map on the web page.
I could get all the other basic maps (created with "internal" as the source of the map") on the web page, so there is something that I'm missing with Google Maps, Bing Maps, Oracle cards. Could you please help me what I'm missing or point to a resource to help?
Thank you
NagYou need a newer version of JDev (like 11.1.2.x.x or later).
Geomap DVT (if that's what you use) includes a local copy of oraclemaps.js.
This must be a newer version.

My own Google Map icons are not visible in Firefox 8
I have lots of Google Maps on my site, and they contain icons by default Google and my own icons, each with its own URL. They work fine in all other browsers and Firefox 7. However, yesterday, I loaded Firefox 8. 8 Firefox Google the default icons are still visible, but my own icons are now invisible, but their placeholders are still there. They are still visible in other browsers. In addition, if, now, I try and add one of my icons on a map, the process seems to work fine, including a landmark name appears, but the icon is invisible. The invisible icon is certainly there because you can click on the marker and be caught in the right position on the map for editing, but the icon is not visible.
Thank you.

Google maps view 3D not available with Safari 9.0.3
I realized that the 3D view of google maps is not available using Safari (9.0.3) using the google chrome browser that this option is there and working. (I'm on iMac 21.5 "2012 with OS X El Capitan) Thanks for the help
It has been like this since at least 8 Safari. It's that something ordered by Google. Safari displays the compass if you change the user agent for Chrome or Firefox.
If you want to see the 3D option, go to Safari-> Preferences-> advanced and enable the option "see her develop menu in the menu bar. Then go into the menu to point and select "Google Chrome" or "Firefox".

I was connected to respond in the thread "Firefox does not work with paypal. I spent the best part of an hour carefully compose this response, case tests, links, etc... [Tip: Firefox, unlike other browsers, has a problem with the server paypalobjects.comscripts.] Because I had taken so long to write the answer, she seemed to be a good idea to check in via the Preview button, but I received a message that the service was not available. Of course, I decided to submit it anyway, but when I hit 'submit' I got a message "you don't have permission...". Anyway, it is definitely not normal that the site log out after only an hour. Sorry to hear about this. Maybe there was a little problem on the server with your session. If it is reproducible, I wonder if you have any software that could be quietly elimination of cookies for the inactive sites?

I use Windows 7. I tried to delete the cookies and cache. Nothing has changed. There is no similar problem with all other browsers: Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer. I restarted my computer. I had to send this chrome because Firefox does not load correctly your site after many attempts. The colors seem to be rinsed at each site. Is there an easy way to restore the colors?
Thank you.
Firefox fits pretty well most of the themes of Windows 7, but in some cases, there may be glitches, particularly with the themes "high contrast".
You are allowing Web sites to specify their colors or their substitution? This is a setting that you can change in the Options.
the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > content
Click on the 'Colors' button and make sure that the box is checked for "allow pages to choose their own colors".

The timeline of Google search function does not work in Firefox but not in IE
I use Google for searches. After receiving the search results there are additional options along the left sidebar. "Timeline" function takes the results of the search and sort them in chronological order and displays the results on a timeline. This feature is used to work well in Firefox. Now after receipt of search results when I press the option "Timeline" Google tells me that my search "did not match any documents."
I assumed the problem was with Google but when I finally tested in Internet Explorer, I discovered that the function of the chronology has worked well. The exact URL in Internet Explorer properly displays the results of the timeline sorted but when stuck in Firefox it produces no result.
Please explain what could be the cause or I might have to switch browsers that I wouldn't do. Thank you.
Here is year example of a Google Timeline search request that produces no. matching documents: "http://www.google.com/search?source=ig & hl = in & rlz = 1G1GGLQ_ENUS287 & = & q = mozilla + firefox + reviews & btnG = Google + Search & aq = f & oq = #q = mozilla + firefox + reviews & hl = in & tbo = 1 & rlz = 1G1GGLQ_ENUS287 & output = search & source = lnt & tbs = tl:1 & a = X & ei = W20_Tf_2OoragAeJ0LG8Aw & ved = 0CA8QpwUoBA & fp = d99ec83a3d63f24"

Text direction does not work in pure AS3 project built with Flash CS5
No idea why it does not work? The rest LTR text direction no matter what I do. I tried moving when the text is printed with no luck.
This text is the only difference I get:

}
Update with Flash CS5 11.0.2.489
The characters that are part of left right scripts are defined by default left to right. The characters that are part of right to left scripts (for example, Arabic or Hebrew) are defined right to the left. Characters such as punctuation (or the registered trademark symbol) is set according to the default direction. So in your example the trademark symbol filed out on the other side because his game rtl. Had you set the Arabic or Hebrew, it would come out right on the left. The default direction is also used to determine if the dash, for example, should go left or right.
You want your English text to come out right on the left? What effect you are trying to get?
Thank you
