    Hello

I have two 877 cisco routers with the static ip address and other (3 routers more) with ADSL DHCP using the no - IP.com.

Currently I'm doing tests with only the static IP router and a DHCP router.

I can't go up the tunnel and running, I can connect using Cisco VPN client, but a site that is the most important of them does not work

I followed the example of configuration on this document http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a00801dddbb.shtml

But I have no session encryption of output as well as no ipsec or isakmp output using this command (it's on the static IP router)

    SH crypto ipsec his

    Crypto isakmp HS her

    SH encryption session

on the dynamic ip on the router side, I exit that with the sh command its crypto ipsec

  • DirecTV DVR not seeing internet via router TC

I installed a modem Arris SB6183 on Comcast xfinity network.  The modem is turned on and connected to the network, xfinity without problem.  All my other devices connected to the TC and could see the internet without problem.  (Though, as I write this I realize that they were all apple devices.)  However my Directv DVR (HR44-500) did not see the internet via the wireless or ethernet cable.  My TC is a 3 TB A1470.  The installer has been in DHCP + NAT.  I also tried to give Directv a (local) fixed IP which address found DVR, but still couldn't find the internet.  When I plugged the DVR directly to the SB6183, without going through the TC, he saw the internet seems to indicate a problem of TC.

After a few days of futile efforts, I have reconnected the router xfinity and replace the TC in Bridge mode.  Everything is working now and the DVR sees the internet, but I'm still pay Comcast 10 $par month to rent their modem.

Does anyone else have this problem?

You need to clarify a few things.

I would expect questions for Internet access to the DVR by the TC without doing manual port forwarding. The DVR itself must be connected to the internet as long as you have the correct values for IP etc. Although I suspect that ipv6 might complicate the situation.

If the DVR awaits UPNP router compatible... the TC is a failure. Apple is not compatible UPNP, adopting instead their own port open NAT - PMP protocol which is limited to most of the time the Apple products.

To get out, you need to return to the configuration without your xfinitiy router... and give us a stack of screenshot... To see the complete configuration of the RECORDER and the TC... screenshots are the best way to do it.

DNS, in particular, can be a problem... so make sure you use Google public DNS on the DVR and see if that helps.

Any other suggestions we really need to see all your settings...

Some screenshots of a working Mac or iPad would also show the configuration of a unit of work... rather than the DVR has failed.

  • 500-100 wireless signal keeps dropping out.

I just bought a brand new office of 500-100 a HP to replace my self built the aging of the desktop machine. The problem I have is that the signal wireless guard stall at random times, could be 3 times in 5 minutes, could be once in 30 minutes. My router is a Wirelss 5953 method.

I've never had problems in the past with signal dropped, my phone and pad remain connected and the old pc used to be ok. Is that because I bought this machine that things started to go wrong.

The intensity of such signal indicated by the bar remains at 4 all the time, then no reason (well, I guess that there must be a reason ) a little yellow exclamation point appears above him the connection limited to words. to get the connection works again, the only way is to disconnect and reconnect again.

    Suggestions anyone?

PS. It happened again I wrote this...

Thanks for the advice, but I fugured it myself after some trial and error. At HP support online for an hour, they took control of my desktop computer and change a few things, but it was always the same. So, I moved the pc into the room with the router and hard wired it in, no problems for 2 days.

So I then unplugged and relied on the wireless, once again no problem for 2 days. Hmm.

Returns the pc in the original piece and it cooled down the signal DESPITE a 4 bars signal and only 5 m away.

So... in this new pc wireless card isn't obviously a top model of the line.

Bought a booster wireless D-Link OfficeWorks (cheap) and plugged into a wall outlet in the same room as the pc,... There's been 2 weeks now and not a single drop out...

    Hello

    > restore factory settings (reluctant to do this)
In my opinion, it would be the best option to solve this problem quickly ;)
After that and he doesn t always work, you should try once again:

    -Put the WLAN driver
    -Updated BIOS
    -Check the TCP/IP settings
S ' ensure that your WLAN router has an Internet connection

In the worst case there s a hardware malfunction, and you need professional help of the ASP :(

  • Pavilion 500-164: motherboard replacement raises Questions

Thanks, Malygris1, for your very comprehensive answer.  Unfortunately, I'm looking forward and installed the new Board of Directors.  For those faced with replacing a motherboard HP, I will elaborate on my trip.  The most important step was in buying for the motherboard.  I have no HP, but from a dealer on Ebay.  I DID, however, carefully note the model of the motherboard AND the designated HP part number of alternatives on a small paper on the motherboard label.  The same motherboard model is used in several models of HP Office; but, if the number of HP spare parts is matched, the info on the model should be on the motherboard.

My original problems were solved with the installation of the new Council.  After a router struck by lightning, the ethernet port had stopped working, and when told to stop, or in standby mode, the machine would invariably restart.  The new motherboard solved both problems, which seem to be related to the power surge.

I installed the new Board of Directors of the Windows 10 updated 500-164 and held my breath I have it powered for the first time.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything looked the same as when I left it.  Recognized support assistant the new Board of Directors as part of a desktop computer 500-164.  I have not tried; but I hope that the recovery media will work, if necessary.  Malygris1, do you think that if Support Assistant recognizes the info on the model, the recovery disks will work?  I'm curious to know how it works, but, if not, no big deal, as I now have a new image Acronis 10 Windows installation, which works perfectly on the 500-164 Pavilion (without "Pitfalls", as some have reported with audio, etc. of the wireless card.).

My second concern was whether or not Windows is always activated with the installation of the new Council.  He said that he "Windows is not activated.  ... Rats and other profanity.  I know it can take time to be put in correspondence with the info from Microsoft, so I updated the bios and checked the rest of the ports for the features of the machine.  I returned in configuration/system Panel and he told me that the activation information were "unavailable" - different from the message 'not active' sooner.  I've been waiting on this screen for a few minutes and the message changed to "Windows is activated"!  I was ready to make Microsoft telephone activation and I had run a keyfinder to get the original MS product key for Windows 8 from the hard drive, but I didn't have to use both methods.

So, in summary, if you want a card mother 'replacement', shop for the exact number of spare parts HP; not only the MFG part number.  It will save you a lot of grief.  Obviously, if you want to 'upgrade' from your motherboard, all bets are off, because it's a totally different scenario with different issues to deal with.  My project was a complete success at a cost of $103 for the new motherboard and several hours of my time.

  • Slow speeds of WIRED with N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

This question is about speed WIRED versus wireless speeds.

This router is used in a situation of Home Office. This office at home connection cable Internet is 500 MB. When one of our computers connects directly to the cable modem we always get 500 MB download speeds. Yet when we connect to this router, these speeds fall into two (on average).

Often, indeed, speeds will drop equal to or less than 100 MB. Yet whenever we unplug the router and plug directly into the cable modem we return up to 500 MB.

    Suggestions?

Unfortunately, the LAN ports cannot be fixed by firmware.

Therefore, it is time to get a new router.

  • Powerline 500 XAVB5421 units communicate is not between them

So I recently bought the Powerline 500 XAVB5421 so that I can get an internet connection in a room upstairs for a new PC, I built. I plugged everything accordingly and all 3 lights are green fixed. However, on the new PC I built (running Windows 10) it says there is no connection and no connection is available. After reviewing the instructions for units of current carrier online, I discovered that the far right LED (Pick-A-Plug) should blink, indicating that the 2 units communicate with each other. They have never blinked for me and still won't blink. I looked around solutions, but most of them were not the same problem, or for a completely different model. I tried to hit both secure button to see if they would be in contact with each other despite the lights blinks not, but no luck. I also tried a factory reset on both models, but never got the blinker. The current configuration is the following: a router with a cable to the unit of current carrier online (plugged directly into a wall outlet) and the other unit upstairs, with an ethernet running on my computer. Any help would be appreciated!

Update: I've decided that the issue was with the motherboard on my PC. After updating the drivers everything works perfectly.

  • Download speed very slow wireless on Qosmio x 500-10T

    Hi all

Just upgraded to a Tosh Satelite to a Qosmio X 500-10T - thought this would solve problems of speed, I got with the old machine using XP and a Belkin (g) wireless network adapter for the (n) on the Qosmio. Everything worked OK with the old Tosh but the new Qosmio is a disaster.

I went through all installation steps, read all the forums, the updated drivers, but still, I get 50-80 Kbps when using the wireless. When I connect using cable, I can get all that Virgin can send me (app 2 MB, up to what I've upgraded, [when I can get 2 MB])!

I tried the setting on my router (linksys WRT300N), it was capable of serving a Vista PC (wired) and two laptops, a Vista the other my XP, two laptops on wireless.

I was wondering if Windows 7 has nothing to do with the problem but I don't see what parameters can be wrong or is it just not compatible with my router. Someone has an idea of the required parameters, or is there a digitization program I can run that will tell me? (I don't want to have to drag a cable around the House!

    Hi Gallan,

If your WLAN speed is slow, you should try the following instructions but first of all make sure that your WLAN driver is up to date and it can be downloaded directly from Toshiba:

-Updated the BIOS to the latest version
-Disable management feature in Windows to energy WLAN power management
-Put the router and the laptop N project only
    -Try with other encryption, e. g. WPA2
-Update the firmware on your router
-Disable the MAC address filtering and other security features

    I hope that helps!

  • Qosmio X 500 / 02 G-wireless card replacement

Hi everyone, I need to find where the realtek wireless card in my laptop X 500/02 G I want to swap more for a better card to use on my desktop in my computer room.

my laptop comes with a card Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n and when the laptop is on my desk, it connects to my router Wireless N 30 feet more distance, but strength is not very good and it does not connect to the internet sometimes, or its slow.

I have a laptop Satellite A350 as well who has a card Intel(r) WiFi Link 5100 AGN in it, and if I'm sitting this laptop at the same place as I get up to 5 or 6 Mb/ps connection/download speed where the card realtek gets under 1 Mb/ch

I want to remove the A350 Intel wireless card and put it in my qosmio but I can't find the card realtek under any of the ram or hard drive cover under the laptop then I guess the laptop everything based needs in order to access the card to remove it.

I was told the card Intel(r) WiFi Link 5100 AGN is better that the card Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n, but why has not done toshiba card wifi accessible in the qosmio.

I can't find a maintenanve or manual for this laptop, only a user guide has nothing on the location map wifi repair.

    any help appreciated.

    Hello

As far as I know the NIC wireless on the Qosmio X 500 is placed under the keyboard if you want to have access to the wireless network adapter, you must remove the keyboard first.
    Can you do it alone?

Please be careful with this stuff. Unauthorized action can cancel the warranty.

  • Qosmio X 500 - 13R - Wireless issues

Hello everyone, I recently bought a Toshiba Qosmio X 500 - 13R. Since the 1st day, I bought the computer was having problems with the wireless card. At first I though it was my wireless router problem but I tested it in various routers and it has the same problem everywhere.

I did a few tests and it seems that after a while the laptop lost wireless momentarily (for similar 1 min) and then he returned. After you run a ping command t I found that, when it works normally the ping is something like:
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes = 32 time<1ms ttl="">

    just before that the problem occurs the ping response time begins to change<1ms to="" 100ms="" then="" 200ms="" then="" 1000ms="" etc="" and="" finally="" the="" network="">

I've updated my wireless lan drivers, but nothing has changed.

Please any help would be appreciated!

    Hello

Using the preinstalled operating system from Toshiba? In your case, I would try to disable the save option in the WLAN power Windows power management. You can choose a maximum Performance for the wireless network adapter.

In addition, you should try updating the BIOS. Latest version can be found on the official website of Toshiba.

  • Adapter Powerline 500 + WiFi (XWNB5201)

    Hello
A few weeks ago, I bought the Powerline 500 + WiFi (model XWNB5201) and it works great!
Now I need an additional adapter to receive the (cable) internet connection in another room of my house (the House is very large).
So my question is: what kind of model should I buy?

On the other hand, if I buy an another Powerline 500 + WiFi (XWNB5201), since I already have the adapter Powerline 500 (XAV5201) connected to the router, could I use two adapters to receive the internet connection in 2 different rooms (1 via wifi) and 1 via a cable?
Thanks in advance for your kindness

    What is a LAN printer?

If so, simply plug it into the Powerline.

  • Qosmio X 500 - 11U - new device LAN card for the 5 GHz band

Apparently the Qosmio X 500 - 11U is provided with a 802.11n WLAN adapt, so I bought a 802.11n router, using the strip of the 5 Ghz. Unfortunately the build WLAN adapter supports ONLY the 2.4 Ghz band.

Is it possible to replace the adapter for another and, if so, which?

    Hey,.

Qosmio X 500 comes with different WLAN cards and certified maintainer can tell you if there is a WLAN card compatible with support 5 GHz.

But I put t understand why it is so important. I mean X 500 supports the new standard WLAN draft N and s the fastest WLAN standard that can be used at the present time.

  • Pavillion 500-424: card without wireless/Wi-Fi number!

    Hello!
So I upgrade my PC Windows 10 and then realized that I couldn't connect to the internet. So I downgraded to 8.1, and I couldn't always connect to the internet. I ran Recovery Manager and installed the Realtek WLAN drivers. It is installed, and the system has rebooted and the list of programs and features said it was installed, but I still couldn't connect to the internet. I then tried to install the Broadcom 802.11ac / n Wireless LAN Driver by ( http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-500-400-desktop-pc-series/7161732/model/... ) that this is what it says for my model and the OS, but when trying to install, it extracted the files very well, but when he said "Installation Wizard settled...". ' (or something similar), the loading bar to load and then the loading bar window just closes.

While they inspected the Device Manager, the wireless card is not at all, just the PCIe controller or something, for ethernet.

How can I solve this problem? Thank you in advance!

    Yes, I do.

I wouldn't bother replacing the card.

Just get an external usb wireless adapter.

I use it on my HP desktop PC and it works fine.

In addition, if you have a double router broadband, it will pick up the 5.0 GHz band.
