Adapter Powerline 500 + WiFi (XWNB5201)

Hello
A few weeks ago, I bought the Powerline 500 + WiFi (model XWNB5201) and it works great!
Now I need an additional adapter to receive the (cable) internet connection in another room of my house (the House is very large).
So my question is: what kind of model should I buy?

On the other hand, if I buy an another Powerline 500 + WiFi (XWNB5201), since I already have the adapter Powerline 500 (XAV5201) connected to the router, could I use two adapters to receive the internet connection in 2 different rooms (1 via wifi) and 1 via a cable?
Thanks in advance for your kindness

What is a LAN printer?

If so, simply plug it into the Powerline.

  • Powerline 500 XAVB5421 units communicate is not between them

So I recently bought the Powerline 500 XAVB5421 so that I can get an internet connection in a room upstairs for a new PC, I built. I plugged everything accordingly and all 3 lights are green fixed. However, on the new PC I built (running Windows 10) it says there is no connection and no connection is available. After reviewing the instructions for units of current carrier online, I discovered that the far right LED (Pick-A-Plug) should blink, indicating that the 2 units communicate with each other. They have never blinked for me and still won't blink. I looked around solutions, but most of them were not the same problem, or for a completely different model. I tried to hit both secure button to see if they would be in contact with each other despite the lights blinks not, but no luck. I also tried a factory reset on both models, but never got the blinker. The current configuration is the following: a router with a cable to the unit of current carrier online (plugged directly into a wall outlet) and the other unit upstairs, with an ethernet running on my computer. Any help would be appreciated!

Update: I've decided that the issue was with the motherboard on my PC. After updating the drivers everything works perfectly.

  • The new adapter MiniPort Virtual Wifi in Win 7 stops at other Wifi adapters work?

I'm having problems to make a long-term wifi adapter Range to connect on the computers that have the adapter MiniPort virtual Wifi under Win 7.

It would seem that the MiniPort adapter only runs if the wifi adapter installed on the PC is compatible with this new virtual feature. I have two laptops that have adapters compatible wifi and show three wireless network adapters; internally, the virtual MiniPort and the long range Atheros (AR5007UG Chipset).

The Atheros adapter seems to be installed correctly in Device Manager and network connections, but is not listed as Wireless Network Connection 3 in the window "connection to" that appears when you click the Wifi icon in the taskbar.

The long range of Atheros adapter works very well and is correctly listed in the window "connection to" on other Win 7 systems that do not have the running virtual MiniPort adapter.

If someone has had this problem and it is possible that the MiniPort adapter stops adapters not compatible wifi to connect to a wireless network when it is installed? It is possible to disable the MiniPort adapter and get my long distance adapter Atheros AR5007UG also works on these two PC?

  • RALink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter detects no wifi

I use HP PAVILION 15-E015TX. I have reset my windows 8 OS recently due to a corruption of the data. After the reset of the operating system, everything is reinstalled to its original state. But the Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter does not detect the wifi is working normally before you reset the operating system. When I run the HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT troubleshooting option, it shows a red mark when you reset the adapter.

I want to know how I can solve this problem.

  • XWNB5201 installed and working, except...

I picked up the Powerline 500 + Wifi and installed. Works very well. TV connects and broadcasts, without issue. The problem I have is with my iPhone/iPad.

Connected without problem. But as soon as I try to use whatever this either on the phone via wifi (say, check email) it takes 2-4 minutes for internet connection to work.

If I continue to use the phone right there (check social media etc.), it will continue to operate perfectly. later in the day, rinse and repeat the operation with the same results.

    Anyone encountered this?

    Follow-up! The fixed!

Changed the wifi Auto to 6 channel. Auto apparently has problems with connectivity. Once I did, all my devices work fine now!

    Hello:

Since I know not what you have tried, or one of the hundreds of books of g6 model you have (if they extend over several years), the only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W10 Ralink WLAN driver.

    Microsoft Windows 10 32

If the driver above does not work, the most likely problem is the hardware revision RT3090 of the card you have is probably too old to run W10.

Only the last model rt3090 made in the last two years will take place W10.

  • Compatible powerline adapter

    Hello world

Currently, I have 2 Netgear powerline 600 XAV6501 to receive IPTV. I would like to put another TV in another room and want to know which adapter will be compatible with the XAV6501.

I searched on the internet and there are an impressive number of cards and of course, I don't want to buy an adapter that is not compatible.

Being new to this site, I hope I've included all the necessary information.

Thanking you in advance for all advice offered.

Your current model is HomeplugAV standard, so any other adapter powerline HomeplugAV or the new HomeplugAV2 standard will work with her (the HomeplugAV2 is compatible with HomeplugAV)

Most of the new powerline adapters will be the standard HomeplugAV or HomeplugAV2.

    Hope this helps

  • RALink RT5390r 801,1 1 b/g/n 1 x 1 wifi adapter in a Pavilion dv6 notebook works with WiFi on 5 GHz?

The card Ralink RT5390r 801,1 1 b/g/n 1 x 1 wifi in a Pavilion dv6 notebook wireless adapter works with WiFi on 5 GHz? I need to change the network card?

    Hello:

Any card with a bgn suffix is a single 2.4 GHz single band card.

A card with agn or abgn is a dual band.

I doubt you will find a dual band compatible to your laptop wireless card.

The BIOS has a whitelist which hangs in the cards wireless not supported to be installed.

The service manual may indicate a card dual band for your model, but the part number will be probably wrong.
