    Doug,

Have you tried to use the TV control icon in the Manager of DMP?

You can plug on and off the Cisco 30 "by along with

    other control rs232 commands.

You can also use wireshark to sniff the wire to

see what codes the DMM send the DMP.

    Cisco 32 "\LG - RS232. Control

Use commands on the DMP RS232, serial port should be set on IT and

    be directed to the device/dev/ttyS1.

To check that create a system task to check your settings by using the task 5

below. If your serial port, it's anything other than/dev/ttyS1 use Task 1

    It is set correctly.

    TASKS

    1. create a system under the application task

    Use type "set".

    Name it "RS232 WE.

  • Print driver for NEC SuperScript 1400 for Windows 7

Anyone know how I could get a print driver for a laser printer from NEC SuperScript 1400 for Windows 7?  NEC no longer supports it and the printer fine but incompatible with our new computer system.  As it sits, it is an anchor point.  Any help is appreciated.  Bob

No NEC printer only is supported in any Windows system after XP.

There is a possibility that it might work, it's the drivers are insrtalled in compatibility mode. See-

  • 9 of LabVIEW with GPIB-RS232 for shutter at fixed intervals of time control

    Hello

I want to order my pane using LabView. I have a program for that from where I can see this shutter is controlled. But I don't know how can I integrate this conditional opening and closing the shutter. For example, I want to shutter to be close for first "t1" dry and open for the next dry "t2" and again close to the "t1" and he repeated that if arrested. "."

I am attaching the file also, can someone explain to me how I can do?

    Thank you and best regards.

    Hello

What you need is two tables with in the first and in the second time, downtime.

Then in a for loop switch, element of waiting on, turn off wait element.

Use autoindexing and make sure that the two arrays have the same length in the case against the shorter table will determine the final stages.

  • Calibration and NEC Multisync PA272W Monitor

    Hello everyone.

I got the NEC PA272W-BK-SV LED backlit wide range Desktop LCD with SpectraViewII. It dose come with her calibrator.  I also have the DataColor Spyder Elite.

Some say that it is better to use both because one dose the material and the other dose software.

According to NEC, is not a good idea to use other 3rd party Calibration tools.

    What do you recommend.

    Here's the info on monitor

    B & H Photo Video

    Thank you very much.

It has nothing to do with it. This has to do with the level of precision of calibration adjustments.

None of this affects the file, just what you see on the screen. But all your decisions are based on what you see on the screen, which becomes unimportant.

quickly lead to adjustments of 8-bit video card strips and Posterization on screen. But if the adjustments are made in 16 bits internally in the monitor, and then released as a signal of 8 bits to the Panel, you get 256 steps uniformly distributed. No banding.

Of a whole other benefits, as a much more precise control on the white and black point. It is crucial to achieve a good screen to print match.

In short, keep the Spyder. It has served you well, but now it's time to switch to something much better - true hardware calibration with Spectraview, that works fully integrated with your PA

  • Replacement of the joint for W530

    Hi all

A few months ago, in this forum, I asking me for information about the compatibility of signs for the wince my Panel W530, AUO B156HTN01, is a less powerful Panel. I get the contrast ratio is less than 400: 1 (average 330:1) and color cast I get is too blue. While I have a laugh X i1 Display Pro to correct the pitches with the LUT of the graphics card, I still have problems with the angles of vision (very bad) and a bit of a magenta cast and the low level of contrast as well as the screen door effect which is annoying in white or near white surfaces.

I'm a photographer and I would approve this computer for work on the field and color delicate work, but the difference between this and my NEC monitor is too big to ignore. So, in the hope that the v4 or v7 will improve things compared to the Panel that gave me, I feel as if I had nothing much to lose.

So, I investigated a bit trying to get their hands on a v4 B156HW01 panel or a v7 (brilliant with better contrast than v4) and increasingly used those cannibalized from other systems, I was never able to get a good replacement.

So far. I managed to get an old stock seller through a contact in Asia and will get a v7 v4s being really out of stock everywhere wherever I can find. Those who try to sell you v4s you will likely receive a "compatible" part... but not the same panel.

I know that brilliant is not everyone and it's certainly not mine, but I have colleagues who work with happiness on their macs very bright and while they dislike screens nice masts, chandelier did not prevent any of them to work. The difference of color in the B156HTN01 permanently prevents me from working so I'll give that a go. Better precision on glossy paper is better that a shit mate.

I will post differences on a before and after the State of the computer. To make it fair, I'm going to re - install everything (windows and batch) to ensure that any previous color calibration is left on this computer to change the perception of the signs.

If anyone in the United Kingdom or HAD is interested, I'd be happy to get another, and we can divide the total. The panels would come to England so if you are in the European Union you need cover shipping from me to you.

    Final part.

For anyone in England, be aware that your package may take about 10 days to pass customs and an extra 48 hours to Parcelforce to deliver the parcel.

So, after this long wait, I received the new v7 Panel and began to make the Exchange.

Before that, however, to give the Panel a B156HTN01 fair to prove himself, I took some pictures with the Lenovo default color management profile. See the first launch of two images, blue, from two angles.

Now to my point of view, I ran a quick profile with the largest range of i1 Profiler (Yes, I know it has its drawbacks, but for a quickie profile is not horribly wrong and the contrast ratio is persistent)

    This is the result.

See here the contrast ratio is 247: 1... very bad.

I followed the video of this gentleman to do the Exchange.

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=Igk0MiqZ_ck

To take the bezel out, however, I used a lens clening Microfiber cloth to place my fingers between the screen and the bezel and he jumped in an easier way than shown in this video. So if you go by with the spirit which.

Tests after replacement to see if it works.

    Glossy screen W530

Profile color management on the new vs NEC PA241w v7 for reference monitor (the NEC screen is calibrated to 6500 k, range of the aRGB and gamma 2.2) by default

Now, with DispcalGUI takes some time, but, since we want to measure the success or failure of the new Panel v7, I ran it. The following screenshot shows the almost corresponding screens with the v7 and NEC monitor AFTER profliing with DispcalGUI.

I was a little tired so I missed the horizontal framing for these two pictures. It is the report of DiscalpGUI.

Mind the 632:1 now and the black luminance contrast ratio is not too bad to 0.2 cd/m2. It is not a contrast ratio impressive many screens of 1000 +: 1 of today, but it's very good for a 2 year Panel, able to display most of the Adobe RGB color range as seen in this comparison with the NEC Spectraview graph. DispcalGUI for v7 on the left and for NEC PA241w Spectraview on the right.

On DispcaGUI, the dotted line represents the spectrum AdobeRGB and Spectraview is the yellow line.

    Not bad, huh?

  • Looking for 1 table D doesn't seem to work.

I get the RS232 for light strings to the top / bottom presses and releases of a display.

So I get UPP and UPR which translates pressed and released UP and same goes for the brightness decrease, DNP and DNR.

However, D table 1 research does not seem to recognize one of these and just returns-1 instead of the number appropriate for the following case.

Orders received include the CR - LF termination, while the elements of the array only. You must extract the first 3 characters of the received channels.

  • NEC ND - 1100 has DVD + RW hardware/driver

For some reason, my NEC DVD + RW ND - 1100 stop working in my Dell PC. I downloaded the latest driver for NEC, but he could not find the drive [letter]. I am running Windows XP Pro version 5.1 sp 3. I can not see the drive under "My Computer" letter, should be D:

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If the DVD player is turned on and connected to the motherboard, then it should be recognized by the Device Manager.  Bring up the Device Manager:
    Start-> Run-> "devmgmt.msc".
Find your DVD drive in the list.  If there is a problem with it, you will see is a red "X" on it or a yellow "!" on this subject.  If you see this, double-click it to see what the problem is.

If you don't see your DVD drive in the list, then open your computer and make sure it is turned on and connected to the motherboard.

  • What is originally shimmering shade of rose-green/interference on my LCD screen that comes and goes?

The monitor is NEC MultiSync LCD 1850th. Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 530. Shooting power monitor does nothing. Handling/move the monitor cable does nothing. Change resolution/refresh does nothing. Speakers of the monitor does nothing. Editing controls of the monitor for brightness, contrast, etc., does nothing. There is no control for degaussing. Troubleshooting is not a problem. Peripheral system works properly. Problem still occurs at startup, then goes after 5 to 10 minutes. Subsequently, random problem comes and goes. I used Norton 360 to search for viruses and it found.

This looks like a probable hardware problem in the monitor.  If possible, the best way to test would be to try this device on another computer and see if the same problem occurs.

  • In 45.4.0 on Windows 10 response window resizes

Since I installed 45.4.0 on my computer Windows 10 update, when I opened a response window, it opens in view full screen. I can resize, provide that I drag the window. As soon as I drag it, it resizes the width of the screen.

I have double wide, NEC MultiSync monitors. This Setup has worked well for several years until the last update.

I just deleted the json configuration file and rebooted my computer. Thunderbird has recreated the xulstore.json file and now I don't have the problem more.

I saw the download of the product page, and there are a lot of BIOS updates since then. I would like to know if I only need flash later a (previous updates contained) or flash of this current one by one (incremental) version?

The latest version of the BIOS is normally a roll-up of all previous updates, so no need to do all of them.

  • Exstance no of Modbus communication

I work with a rs232 for connection rs485 via a UNO2019 PC box.  The RS-485 connection is going to be MODbus RTU, has about 4 slaves on the bus (MMI flowmeter, VFD, two temperature RTD). All theses devices are configured accordingin

9600 baud, odd parity, no flow control. the VISA resource would be COM3.

Now all of these components I worked with every day for numerious months. and VI implementation exists (almost) without error. I get an error code for the additional bytes to the port, but he spends the whole upward. I don't know if I'm not or write, but it has happened in every piece of software, I developed in labview (it does not check the boolean error so I guess that's not important).

Currently, when I try to read the registers of the MODbus slave, I get error:

-107380733 (that mean 100 different things that I have done my research properly, bad bytes to the port, do not use correct end characters in your message). But every time I have seen that error code discussed in question direct USB/RS232, not RS232 to RS485.

    The attached string was

    3-> MD series Master Query.vi

2-> MB series Master query Holding Register.vi

    1-> address Test.vi

Thank you for any light you can contribute on my problem.

Problem has been resolved. It was a hardware problem as I thought. Apperently this code error will exist when your RS-232/485 is hard set via dipswitches do not send data.

replace your XOr with a knot of subtraction can exchange the two entries for the node of the subtraction.

    Note:

The for loop will be automatic indedx table if you allow me.

    Or you could

String > string to byte array > elements of an array to the sum > XOr with 'FF' then add 1.

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6b56er and Windows 7 x 64 Professional

    Hello.

I bought Pavilion dv6-6b56er with pre installed Win7 x 64 Basic, which is not convenient for me, because of its lack of features. So I made a full backup of the hard disks in the Pavilion and removed all software it. Then I installed Win 7 x 64 Pro and facing difficulties regarding the drivers of USB 3.0. Everything else works fine. I know that HP is not responsible for all of the experiences with the software that is not pre-installed, but I have a few questions.

First of all, should what driver I install to ports USB 3.0 flag? To the download page, I found three different options:

    1 Renesas.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-99763-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&...

    2 NEC.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-100224-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en...

    3 fresco.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-102204-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en...

    and

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-100237-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en...

The first two were installed (I mean they CAN be installed), the third - not at all settled. So what is the reason to put it on the download page?

We're crazy. When you try to install the package with driver NEC, installation master tells you, that it is pilot of Renesas. There therefore no NEC drivers on the download page at all. Why I paid so much attention to it? I installed Everest, so I know what driver is needed. He tells me that I "NEC uPD720200 USB 3.0 Host Controller". Thus, there is no driver available on the download page for NEC chipset and we have NEC chipset inside.

During this time, Windows Support Center offered some NEC USB 3.0 driver (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp47501-48000/sp47677.exe ).

    So, who's right?

The second question. If attempts to connect to the USB 3.0 a compound device (e.g. usb hub), then in "devices and printers" appear strange devices with the label "no data". If Renesas driver has been installed then ' USB 2.0 hub "appeared, and so Windows proposed NEC - then «NEC Electronics USB Hub» The County of strange devices depend on the number of devices connected to this unit composed. It's my main problem - these strange devices.

So I came to a dead end. Any ideas to fix this?

    Any response will be appreciated.

PS. Sorry for my bad English.

The Recovery Manager is indeed on the hard drive. The version that is on the dvd discs doesn't have as many options as the original get the version of the partition.

If you use recovery factory reset it will install all the original drivers and also recreate the recovery partitions. After finishing of the recover and have restarted the PC, you should be able to use the F11 key to access the hard disk again.

You will need to reinstall the UEFI utility using the download from the section web software support and drivers under utility-tools. Given the usefulness of UEFI hard disk is a good thing.
