Rsync backup does not delete files on the target

Hello

I have a disc on a Windows Server 2012 machine running DeltaCopy.

I have a RN312 on OS 6.4.2 with a configured rsync backup to save the action (which is the root of the drive) to the local NAS.

I then go into the settings - Advanced - tab and tick the "remove files deleted on the target."

I also add ' / $RECYCLE. BIN' and ' / System Volume Information "as being excluded.

The first is fine - there are a few errors but they are due to the System Volume Information I think that - even if its exclusion.

But if I can delete a file on the source (the server) and run it again the file are not deleted on the target (SIN).

Any suggestions?

Thank you

What version of Rsync using DeltaCopy? Have you tried to copy a new version of Rsync and other utilties of cygwin for example in DeltaCopy directory?

  • 10g - what makes OBIEE does not cache files in the cache folder?

    Hi, experts,

    I would like to know
What makes OBIEE does not cache files in the folder cache VIEW OF REQUEST (reports on dashboard)?

of course, I activated the cache in nqsconfig.ini

a few reasons why a query is not cached in obiee are:

    1. None of the tables involved in should be deleted from the query caching. Check the options for this option of caching of the physical layer.
    2. cached queries must follow all the presets in nqsconfig.ini. For example, size of cache entry, etc...
    3. the request must not contain functions such as current_timestamp, current_date, random functions, etc...

    I hope this helps.

  • PC now does not see files on the rocket after firmware update

Until I updated the firmware to v01.02.31P, whenever I plugged my rocket to my PC (Windows XP), it was considered to be a separate drive (e.g., F in Windows Explorer - "Devices with removable storage" and I had no problem using drag & drop, delete files, etc. and download podcasts on Web sites.) Since I've updated the firmware, every time that the rocket is connected to the PC it is now considered rather camera phone in Explorer Windows in 'My Computer' with internal and external memory card uSD

However, all my existing music files are not 'seen' - for example i.e. the files are now shown as empty, even if the 'properties' of the internal memory shows significant used space and Windows Explorer can't see the files I put on the "rocket".

Anyone can help getting Windows to 'see' my music files, or is it possible to roll back the firmware.

    Thank you

The firmware update reset the USB MTP mode or detection automatic (it was before MSC mode). Files transferred in a mode are 'invisible' to your computer when it is connected to the other mode, as you have discovered.

Just go to settings > USB Mode and she return to MSC if you prefer the way things were before.

  • Windows Media Player does not detect files in the music folder

Original title: why Windows Media Player NOT showing my music?

So I recently got myself a new laptop, with Windows 7 Home Premium on it.

I copied my music to my desktop PC (also Windows 7) folder to the new laptop.

All the files are there in my user folder music, however, Windows Media Player absolutely refuse to recognize their existence and will NOT add them to your own library. If I navigate to the folder of the album, select a track or multiple tracks and use the context menu to perform them, which works without problem - WMP will play files.

I checked that the right folder belongs to the library.

The photos that I copied in the same way everywhere appear correctly in the 'Images' of WMP library.

After searching on the internet for answers, I came across three very common solutions either on their own or a combination of seems to work for most people:

    (1) removing all THE folders in the music library, then add the. This has no effect.

    (2) will "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player" and delete the entire contents of this folder, or the folder itself. Note that if stop/start no matter which drive Windows Media services also had no effect.

    (3) using the command line tool "attrib" to remove the attribute 'system' of all the files in the folder music.

Anyone got any ideas that are NOT ALL OF THE above MENTIONED the ELEMENTS, which may be able to help here? Otherwise, I'll move to a slightly less fussy Media Player...

In fact, as a result, that gave me an idea.

    I went to:
    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries

And delete the content of this (this will remove ALL your libraries!).

Then, I used the option "restore default settings", which correctly restored by 4 default libraries. I then recreated both more personalized, I would like to have it.

Having done this, WMP now seems add my music to his library as I type this...

  • 5.7.1 Lightroom does not import files of the ORF

I am trying to import the RAW files from my Olympus Stylus 1. Thumbnails appear in the import window, but they are "grayed out". I'm not able to select them nor import them.

    Everybody now what happens?

    Hi Inegron

    Greetings!

Thumbnails appear in the import window, but they are "grayed out". I'm not able to select them nor import them.

This could happen if the photos are already in your Lightroom Catalog and you try to duplicate them.

Try unchecking the do not import suspected duplicates option

    Then reimport them

If it does not work. Create a new catalog (file > new catalog) and try to import

  • File/FTP adapter does not delete file

    Hello world.

I recently got throwing a RollBack fault responded, but now have encountered another problem.

My FTP adapter starts the process when it detects a specific file. When I throw the fault of restoration it not only cancels the transaction of DB, but the entire transaction of this instance so that the file is never deleted. Now the question is that, given that the file is still in the directory of the FTP adapter will try to pick it up on the next polling cycle, and of course, it will fail again. Is it possible to have the FTP/File adapter always delete the file, even if the transaction is rolled back?

The file was deleted not because the polling stations for the file and insert it in the DB process were all in a single transaction BPEL. So the fault of RollBack prevented the file being deleted. To solve my problem, I placed the DB insertion process in other BPEL and threw the fault of restoration and BPEL with what has been proposed in launch a RollBack vulnerability.

Firefox does not delete cookies for the tabs that are left open when you quit the browser even with empty cookie options set. Cookies are only eligible for the tabs that are closed before leaving the browser. • Cannot delete files to the trash (Recycle Bin access denied)

    System: Windows 7 Ent SP1 x 64, i7 930, 24GO RAM with all updates

When I try to delete files in Windows Explorer, I get the following error (most of the time, but not always):

Window with the title 'Recycle Bin access denied' and the message

" cannot be moved to the trash. Do you want to permanently delete it? »

I can then permanently delete the file, even if I sent to the trash.

I tried the following (nothing works):

-checked to see if the file is locked with Process Explorer (find handle or DLL)-it is not (and it can be removed permanently)

-deleted all the recycle bins on all drives & restarted. New recycling bins have been created, but it did not help.

-changed of owner of baskets and all files as (with the takeown command). Corrupt system baskets complained, emptied their and restored to their previous state. This did not help the primary problem.

-set the maximum size to the size of the disk on all baskets. It has no effect on the main problem.

-J' also checked the security for the folders tab $RECYCLE. BIN on all readers and define "Full control" for users. SYSTEM and administrators had already 'Full comtrol. This did not help also.

What is strange (and new), is when I open the Recycle Bin, the files are always considered to be "Tiles" (which I did not). If I put it in 'Détails', the change is not permanent - the next time I open the Recycle Bin, the files are showed once again as "Tiles".

What can I do to be able to delete (all) files via the Recycle Bin?

Thanks Mike for the response, but none of the methods helped. There was no malware and even in safe mode, I could not delete files to the Recycle Bin. In addition, the original administrator account could not delete to the Recycle Bin.

But I think I found the culprit:

Apparently, this problem showed that in the downloads folder, to which I had many junctions (to be easily accessible). Due to lack of space on the C: drive, I remembered that I have moved through properties-> location on a disk with more space. Instead of the old folder in C:\Users\ downloads I put a junction pointing to the new location.

Now, I had old junctions pointing to C:\Users\personal, which in turn was a junction pointing to a new location. Registration/creation/look at one/etc files in folder downloads accessible through 2 junctions was of course OK, but delete somehow was not able to delete files to the Recycle Bin. When I fixed the remaining junctions to point directly to the new location of the download folder, delete started working OK again.

    Summary:

Delete the file (SHFileOperation?) is not able to use the trash, if the file is accessible via junction 2 points (or more?).

  • Firefox does not delete browsing history in the address bar

No matter what you with Firefox in clearing the browser history by going to the history-> delete history, recent and all delete or reset FF by accessing information from troubleshooting, Firefox does not browsing history. The Web site you have traveled still appear in the address bar.

Several people have already complained about this (see thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/939028) and the response from the staff of Firefox is that it is be a malware. That's not true, I've seen versions of Firefox in own computers Windows and Mac with Firefox, do the same thing, or rather not do what it is supposed to do: clean browsing history.

How dangerous is that. Where your privacy? Firefox must find a way to fix this glitch. Something tells me they do it on purpose because it has not been fixed after him complains.
