  We don't support snapshot using MDX query command to export almost any segment of the IOP cube in a relational table. Once the export is complete, you can use Essbase loading rules for loading data in areas of interest. All these commands can be put inside a javascript or jacl command and then packaged as a script model. This script can be invoked from the IOP UI planning workshop.

  Yes you can use substitution variables, as calc scripts use the ampersand & and name of the variable, for example & CurrYr

  I don't know what you mean by the second question, if you make changes to the business rules in the environmental assessments, so that all you have to do, planning of calls is the same repository for information of business rule.

  I am new to this forum and sorry for the mistakes

  I have two site, a vcenter-hq (HQ) and another vcenter-dr (disaster).

  I use SRM, almost everything works fine except one thing.

  When I try the vcenter-TA to execute the recovery plan I get error (recovery rest also works very well):

  'Run stimulus plan' failed with the following error message.

  faultCode:Server.Processing faultString:'

  An error has occurred during serialization server response (s).' faultDetail: 'null '.

  However, vcenter-Dominican Republic to vcenter-hq it works fine

• Issue business rules - cannot associate planning in environmental assessments (11.1.2.0)

  I am facing a problem when I try to associate a rule of planning business in the EA. When I try to develop the planning node to find our application to associate, I don't see anything under the node of the planning.
  
  Another thing that is strange is that I do not see that planning has added to the location node under Administration on the view of the company, but when I go to the "Locations" tab on my business rule and try to add the same planning repeats, and I am not able to do.
  
  In addition, I'm unable to see my business rule in Planning and no wonder, it's because I'm not able to associate the business rule to my plan of implementation planning in EAS and the appropriate location is not added.
  
  I spend two other messages in the forum which discusses a similar problem and made sure I actually assigned access to myself. Also, I use an administrator account. I also tried to restart the services that they suggested in some messages of the forum and also in the document "Troubleshooting with Business rules Issues" on the Oracle Web site, but it did not help. I don't know what goes wrong and that is what I am missing which is continues to cause this problem.
  
  Please help me with your ideas and I would like to know how to solve this problem.

  Is it EPMA then you will need to use the calc Manager, if one is your request or EPMA, classical planning are you sure that you have created the application to use business rules and not Manager Calc.

  You must run the Planning Manager. In addition to this consumption of MPS, etc., it does a lot of other functions such as the treatment of completions of job WIP etc.
  It must run somewhere between once every 30 seconds to 1 minute.

• Cannot run explain plan with sqldeveloper 1.5.1 against a 9.2 database

  When I try to run explain plan in sqldeveloper, I get this message:
  
  "Invalid column name cannot the plan_table query."
  
  on my laptop, I have a 10g XE database and it works perfectly
  
  Is this due to the fact that the plan_table structures are different in 10g and 9i?
  
  Is there a solution or a workaround to make the explain command plan to work with the 9.2 database?

  Why, you can't recreate it... you need not additional privileges to do that, yo just need privilege to create the table.

  Hi all

  I'm developing an application of classical planning using Hyperoin 11.1.2.2

  I came across a scenario where a specific business rule is executed when the data are recorded on a specific data form. (IE run save the data form item)

  Currently, this rule executes all Member of the entity Dimension.

  Is it possible that this rule is run only for one member of the entity (that is currently selected in the Section Page of this form of data)

  Please note: I don't want to use run the guests of time i.e. I don't want my user to explicitly specify which Member of the entity in the RPT. In our its obvious business logic this business rule is only required to run for the member selected in the entity Dimension

  You must create a Variable of RTP of the type member, when you associate this rule save this form of data, select the option use members on forms of data and hide guests in this way you don't get the window prompt and BR will perform for a specific entity.

  I recently migrated schemas uat to configured prod.i evrything successfully.when database
  I loged in the console of Regional service with the user (other than the administrator) that the user has all access to create business rules.
  I tried to create new business rule to select the planning application.
  I get this error"error connection server essbase < servername >: < appname >
  in the details of the error "connection to the server pllanning < servername > error: < appname >.
  and "error loading of objects from data source: java.sql.SQLException: [Hyperion] [Oracle JDBC Driver] object has been closed."

  I reconfigure EAS on the machine production and the drop and re-create the database.
  So I'd either use the migration tool to copy rules from one server to another, or just rules the export as xml and then import them again.

• calc script conversion rule for business planning

  I have a calc script that I need to convert it to a business rule to join the web planning forms. This means I want to take things in my statement of fix and turn them into guests (I think) which will be automatically replaced with the selections of web form. I've looked through the docs of business rules and planning documents, but cannot find a way to do it. I'm sure it's easy to do. Can someone give me an idea what I need to do? I can see how to create the run-time of a prompt on the screen of a local variable. But how to do replacements on my source?

  Once you have defined guests you can edit your business rule in the EA and right click and insert variable or you can put the variable name in square brackets, for example [VARIABLENAME].

  Once you have selected 'Members on record use' selection tab for forms business rules to ensure that these members are part of the Page or the POV.

  You can also view the schedule of tasks on Metalink3 if you have not already - there are a few quick questions dealing with.

• Run a business rule 'run while recording' train Webform Composite 11.1.2.3

  Peuvent users of data entry, press success record, then run on one of the tabs in a composite webform in 11.1.2.3 a business rule?   I have a simple composite form with a rule it takes to "run while recording".  When they hit save nothing happens.  No confirmation that the form was saved and no confirmation that the rule has been successfully completed.   When I do the same thing on the form itself, not the form online by tabs, it works as desired.   Is this a bug in 11.1.2.3?  I swear this works in 11.1.2.2.

  Suppose we have 2 simple forms - A and B. We have a composite form COMP1 which includes simple A and B forms. Now, I have attached a form A rule.

  If I want the rule to run while recording composite shape, there are two options-

  Go to the business of composite shape rules tab and: -.

  1. Select "Rules for A formula.

  or

  2. Select the rule explicitly that you want to run and check - "run while recording.

  I don't know if you have used one of the solutions. Let me know if it helps.

  Exactly.  In this case, workloads on the recovering site absolutely remains lit throughout the entire test or recovery.

  We know that we can use smartlist datatype member in good standing of the company and use them in conditional as state below
  
  These entries are present in the PaymentFrequency Member which is a smartlist data type and has the entries below
  
  1 a quarterly publication
  2B per year
  
  
  I have another Member in the dimension even say the payment method, which is also a smartlist data type and has the entries below.
  
  1 full payment P
  2 Q finance
  
  Here, I have an obligation to delete the values for the smartlist in the form.
  
  
  The scenario goes like this.
  
  IF the 'payment method' is 'Finance', then only 'PaymentFrequency' must be selected. This part is reached.
  
  But
  
  IF the "method of payment" is "CompletePayment" then "PaymentFrequency" should be cancelled even if the user selects a value any.
  
  
  On the final note, we have "PaymentFrequency" = #MISSING.
  
  The smartlist being of the numeric data type, this isn't the #MISSING analysis.
  
  Any suggestions are very useful on it.

I recently bought 4 x 2 GB Kingston KVR 800 MHZ DDR2 with a Western Digital Caviar Green 1 TB 64 MB Sata - 3 G to increase my gaming experience on my Windows vista 64 bit.   My problem and the question is why windows takes so long to load (in minutes) with 8 GB of memory in a few seconds if I remove the 4 GB memory?  My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R and is clearly States in the manual that it can hold up to 8 GB memory DDR2 800 MHZ. Memory is recognized in bios and in windows to 8 GB but runs very slowly until I remove 4 GB and it works super fast. Some help would be appreciated!   Thank you!

  Try to reduce the clock speed to 667 and see if the performance improves.  With consumer mobos, the maximum amount of memory sometimes unable to run at the maximum rated speed.

  Check to see that all the four modules are put in correspondence.  I'm not doubting that they are, but make sure you still.  Experience; try 6 GB.
