Run all the hearts on hp dv6 pav?

So actually, I bought this cause laptop I remember trying the new laptop from my mother-in-law a few years ago and I loved it cause it was incredible fast and can run all games on ultra settings more it was extremely cheap in the store, like $ 900 (I didn't know that it is only cheap until after I had bought mine online). I bought mine online from a normal store and it costs about 1, 4 k dollars. But the big disadvantage was that when I got mine, mine was nowhere near as fast as my parents laptop o_o it was exactly the same laptop, blus I paid almost double for her. I actually play most of the games on parameters lower or I will lag. I do not understand why the difference is so great between them and mine when it is exactly the same computer > _< never="" paid="" extra="" thought="" to="" it="" until="" now="" though="" where="" i="" finally="" decided="" to="" try="" and="" make="" it="" faster.="" i="" noticed="" in="" task="" manager="" it="" shows="" i="" have="" 3="" cores.="" but,="" it="" never="" ever="" uses="" more="" than="" 1-2="" cores?="" why="" is=""> I want to be able to play games as fast as on my laptop of the parents which is exactly the same brand, because I just bought this laptop for games (and it's not exactly like im rich on money - rather in fact broken (, so that's all I could really afford) D: T_T sad it took 2 years to get account I should do something :/ but I don't know much about laptops in a first time, so I never thought about it.

Hi Kittiez,

Thank you for the information. I have a few steps for you to follow.

1. plug the laptop directly into the wall socket for charger the portable computer is running.

2. check that the power settings are not on energy saving modes.

3 using Microsoft System Configuration (Windows 7) go to the Boot tab > go to advanced settings > and uncheck the number of processors.

4. click on Appy or save and restart the computer.

This should solve the problem you are experiencing.

Keep me posted on how it goes!

Good luck

  • e7240 CONSTANT NOISE OF FAN NOISY / FAN RUNNING ALL THE TIME

We received 2 nine E7240s directly from Dell, one for me and one for my colleague. As soon as I turned it on to build for my colleague, I noticed that the machine was overheating and the fan made a noise. Dell offers an upgrade of the BIOS that has not changed anything. They then changed the radiator, even once, that does not change and since then, they have changed the motherboard. My colleague went on vacation, so I don't know if the problem has been resolved, however, my laptop day you do not overheat (also of course as it has done for my colleague) BUT THE FAN RUNS ALL THE TIME. So much so that I think that the person in the room upstairs is using his hairdryer. Dell has replaced the heatsink of heat and the motherboard yesterday, I did the same update of the BIOS and the problem is even worse. As soon as I turn the thing, the fan runs all the time making a big noise. My predecessor was the E6500 and I was not bothered by noises, he did.

The 7240 made so much noise that I want to throw it out the window , seriously, I go back to my old 5 years e6500, which is now very slow, I can not just take constant hair dryer of the fan noise! I'm waiting for Dell back to me, but I don't see what else they can do.

I suspect a problem of design with newer models, someone with a laptop computer Latitude 13 also mentioned it on the Forum, someone else with an e7240 also said "I noticed the fan turns most of the time - it's quiet, but you don't know is spinning."  I just implemented, so the CPU is busy enough. "A person with the e6320 says"and the fan is noisy and turns far too often.

I just bought a new Dell Latitude E7240 with Windows 7 laptop and had the same problem with overheating and the fan is running loudly all the time. I just fixed it on my laptop, it may not work for everyone but just in case I walked it here.

The index for me was that the question has happened at home, not at work.

    • Using the Task Manager, I found that a "svchost.exe" process was always running at 25% of the CPU, i.e. to take 100% of one of the 4 hearts. For this you need view all processes, and that's why you need a local administrator account if she asks permission.
    • With right click on this process-online 'Go to services', you can study what services are hosted by this instance of svchost.
    • For each of these services, try to stop one at a time (if it helps) and see if the CPU usage goes down. For me, a clue was a service stuck on 'Stop' but never stopped.
    • The service which for me was the "HomeGroup provider." That's why the issue has happened at home and at work. The laptop had spotted my homegroup on my home network, but had not been able to accede. Maybe a problem with IPv6 that I could not turn on my desk.
    • In the Services tab in Task Manager, get on the service properties, which set to Disabled Startup Type.
    • Restart the laptop, to ensure that the service is stopped.

That did the trick for me, and now the CPU remains less than 5% when idle. This isn't the problem that the fan is noisy when the CPU usage is high, but for me what rarely happens now.

If you want to access files and printers on your home network without the homegroup feature, you can still do that the old way:

    • Network and sharing Center-Online avancΘs => Homegroup Connection-online 'use user accounts to connect to other computers.
    • Also in the settings advanced: enable discovery network. and Turn on File and Printer Sharing.
    • Then, you can click on your wifi network => add a printer.
    • If your office does not appear, click on "Not listed", then browse. As long as the network discovery and printer sharing are enabled, desktop PC should appear and you can connect using your local Windows user name and password.

    Hope this helps someone.

  • The fan runs all the time because xinetd running more than 80% all the time.  Someone else has the same problem?

xinetd is running at 83% or more 24 x 7 devours battery in 2 hours or less and making the fan run all the time.  I am connected to a bug report, and it turns out that it was a duplicate because someone else had the same problem.  However, I have no access to the other bug report or find anything either in the discussion forums or online.  Anyone experience this problem?

    Hello gorgonzola1111,

I doubt that someone else has this problem because xinetd does not part of macOS. Have you installed it from a package of "ports" 3rd party?

  • Satellite R630 - fan runs all the time

    Hello everyone,

I have a Satellite R630, and I'm happy with it. But there is one thing that makes me angry... the fan! It runs ALL the time. I browse a little... the fan works. I work with the office, or something... the fan works. To clarify: the CPU is not used, there is no heavy processes running, and the Notebook\CPU is cool. There is no reason why the fan should work, all the laptops that I had before where calm in the same situations. Of course it is not a problem if it starts working if necessary (a game, looking for a HD video or something). But not without reason!

Someone at - it a solution for this problem? A tool to fix the fan speed\intervals manually, or better: an update of the bios (in the version 1.4 and 1.5 I can choose what I want... the fan did not stop execution). It is also quiet in Linux or any other operating system.

@Toshiba: (!) Please do something. The only solution for me right now is to return the laptop to the store. :-(

    Best regards

    Hello

Hmm... If you have already installed the latest BIOS updates, you should check the cooling of Windows Power management settings. Generally you can switch between different methods of cooling as you can read here:

  • Satellite Pro 4600: Win2k with SP4 - cooler run all the time

    Hello

last week, I bought a used Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 PIII, 1 GHz, 512 GB of Ram, WIFI and DVD burner. Great machine so far.

After that I changed the FAT32 file system to NTFS and reinstalled Win2K/SP4 cooler runs all the time.

TaskManager says that "THOT_KEY.exe" uses up 99% of the CPU power. Disabling this service reduces the power of the processor and the cooler was quite, BUT didn't really helped - lots of keys does not work.

I ran a few utilities to disinfect as Kaspersky, NOD32 etc. to ensure that Ia´ve not taken some malware.
Should I try a bios update or change some settings?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for help

    Hello

AFAIK the THOT_KEY.exe belongs to the Toshiba Hotkey utility that controls the various key functions.
If you disable this service, you will not be able to use the FN keys more.
I m not 100% sure why this service uses 99% of CPU performance, but perhaps that it s not completely compatible with the W2K service packs. Where did you download this utility? I found it on the page of Toshiba Europe!

In my opinion, you should try to reinstall the system again. This is probably the key!

In all the hearts of Windows games, it seems that they do not know the rules.  The Queen of Spades is just like a heart in the real rules. I don't have to play the Queen.  If hearts have been broken, and all I have left is some hearts and the Queen of Spades, I can play a weak heart rather than being forced to play the Queen.  The windows game apparently does not know this rule.

    original title: rules of hearts

    Hello

Actually if the Queen of Spades breaks hearts and cannot therefore be considered a heart
is optional. The basic rule is that the Queen of Spades does not break hearts and must be conducted
If a player has the Queen of spades and still hearts if hearts have been broken.

My preferences are the Queen of Spades or a heart can be played on the 1st round Sub in the Clubs.
And the Queen of Spades does not break the hearts and must be conducted if only he and hearts are
left in the hands and hearts have not been broken. Those who make for much more difficult game
    MY HUMBLE OPINION.

  • Run all the scans of the Diagnostics Bootable Lenovo's

I might be missing something obvious, but how do run you a full scan of a machine using Lenovo Diagnostics Bootable? AFAIK, you can scan only individually each component (memory, motherboard, PCI bus, hard drive, etc.).

If indeed there is no way to click on a single button and the program do run all the tests, and a person of Lenovo is reading, consider this a feature request. Ideally, there would be two options: one that runs a quick full test and the other to run a fuller (who would perform advanced analysis of memory).

Update: Fortunately, this feature was added in version 4.0.0.6027, available for download from http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/lenovodiagnosticsolutions/downloads.

To run all the applications of the laptop or install download applications works does not error message indicating that the application is not valid "win32.exe or win32.application.

    Hello m.velentino,

Not sure if you are still having the error message isn't valid win32.applicaiton.

Get the error: not a valid 32-bit application can have several origins:
I have listed some of them below.

The file is corrupted, bad or missing.
-If the hard disk is damaged or hurt it cause work programs to fail, either because not all data can be read from the hard drive the program is damaged on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk to check for potential errors.
-If you run the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer, you can get this error.

File is not designed for your version of Windows:
-If you try to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows, you can get this error.
-Although many old programs designed to work in older versions of Windows will work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will not work.
-If the program is an MS-DOS program more former start program or Windows, you can get this error.
-If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you are running in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.

File is a virus, worm or other malicious program file.
    -
This error can be generated by a file that is a virus, worm, Trojan horse or other type of malware file. Often, this will result because the antivirus installed on the computer will not allow the file to install or run. Try to analyze the file to check, it is not a virus or infected.
-If the file has been checked and is clean, it is always possible that the virus protection program or a another program installed on the computer is at the origin of questions during installation or execution of the program. Start the computer in Mode safe and try to run the program. start the computer in Mode safe will be that nothing is running in the background that could cause this problem.

    Hardware incompatibility.

-If you get this error during the installation of a program, it is also possible that the CD-ROM drive or the drive that you are installing the program from is not compatible with Windows or has drivers that are not compatible with Windows.
-Download the latest drivers for your CD player or other of the manufacturer of the computer or the manufacturer of the equipment. (Microsoft does not pilot for other materials)

  • I installed a new game for Pc windows 7 & I got the support of the United Nations, is at - it software to install to run all the games correctly?

I installed a new game for Pc windows 7 & I got the support of the United Nations, is at - it software to install to run all the games correctly?

All games (or programs) are compatible with Windows 7. See the Web site of the Publisher of games for compatibility information.

Windows 7 has compatibility mode that peuvent leave some older games that would be otherwise incompatible for work. Please see:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows .

Very old games can contain 16 cold bits that will not work if you have 64-bit Windows 7 without Virtualization software.

What is the name of the game?

    Are you using windows 7 32 or 64-Bit? *

    * To see if you're running 32-bit or 64-Bit Windows click:

    Start-> Control Panel-> system

Then look at where it says, "System Type".

  • In view of the first Pro CS4-Will my hardware to run all the features?

I have a HP Pavilion d4990y, Quad Core Q6600, 2.4 ghz, 4 GB RAM, Geforce 8500 with 512 MB, 32 bit, running Vista Premium of Hm.  I have a system drive of 500 GB Sata 3.0 and a Seagate 750 GB SATA 3.0 dedicated video player.  I have no RAID configuration in place.  I have read the requirements for PP CS4, but they don't deal with the quad-core systems, and I'm afraid I'm not able to access or run all the PP CS4 features, especially in regards to the HD and AVCHD correctly.  I have recently retired and I'm ready to take on the learning curve of PP, since I now have the time.  I have a lot of experience with standard video editing - but who was only with Pinnacle Studio products. This possible approach, then, would be a big one for me, and I want to make sure I'm moving to a package that does not require to change my hardware platform.

I would appreciate your comments and suggestions on this forum.

There is no performance difference between SATA and eSATA. Both are just as good, so there is no need to install an internal hard drive.

  • Upgrade to Win 8.1 the fan runs all the time and Raw (Silkypix) converter consume 100% CPU resources

Hi, after upgrading to win 8 to 8.1 win my converter (Silkypix) raw program running extremely slow and consuming 100% of CPU. VAIO all updates completed, all Win 8.1 updates made. ATM Radeon HD 7500 M / 7600M (Maj) with 2 GB RAM dedicated.

In addition, the fan works almost all the time that was not the case with Win 8.

Vaio SVE1712Z1EB with 8 GB of RAM, i7 processor execution.

SeanQ, after some time looking for a solution I finally found it on one of the vaio sites forum: it is the Radeon driver that must be installed from the Vaio support site. NOT the driver the latest AMD site. It does not solve the problem.

I did as follows: device, graphics card, Uninstall Manager. Did not help. Went to AMD in Program files. Setup.exe has begun, but instead of installation, clicked on uninstall. In this way, I uninstalled the driver former AMD and bad news from the site of AMD. I had to manually uninstall the driver in Device Manager, several times. Finally, I went to the site of Vaio and tried updating the driver. He failed. Reset. Manually start the update of the Vaio AMD driver. Finally it worked.

The fan is now more or less normal speed.

Overall, I spent 15 hours looking for this solution. How much is my time worth? Just joking, I'm happy that I found the solution.

  • My fan is running all the time...

I have a Dell XPS 15.6 Windows 7 64 bit. It is about 3 weeks old. My laptop was on my firm stand and the fan came. When I opened it, it stays on. Also when I went to type there is a tone that did not previously exist. The fan stays on while it is open, but stop sometimes to when I close. Please any help, I'd be happy.

    Hello

Only way to really know if there is a problem is to check with a real computer (not the leeks and pics store
at a Best Buy or other department stores) or Support of Dell. Also ask in the Dell forums where others have
the same system for known issues.

Make sure that the vents are clear, so there is plenty of air circulation. Try using a small fan blowing through the vents
to see if the heat is excessive. Often, a cooling pad can help.

  • Once I ran tool to remove unwanted files from Advanced System Care I can't run all the apps windows 8.

If I select all the apps on the app store, it seems that I click on it, and then nothing happens. If I try to run the store icon appears on the screen and then it goes back to the start screen. Help?

    (1) did you try restarting your PC? Don't forget to restart Windows 8 is not the same as stop and start again.

    (2) if it does not help, see if Advanced SystemCare provides a backup of files recently erased. If so, try to get back them.

You also use the registry cleaner? Registry cleaners claim to boost the overall performance, but they create more problems than the good they do. I used to use these tools to improve the performance of my PC, but I always ended up having more trouble. Now I occasionally use CCleaner with too much caution when cleaning the registry. Windows 8 provides integrated automatic maintenance that works almost every day when your PC is idle. Additional software is not necessary.

    (3) Finally, if the first two options do not work, try "refreshing" your system. Move at a right angle to display the sidebar. Click on 'Settings' and then 'change PC settings. " Under the group "Général" find 'Refresh your PC without affecting your files' and click on 'Get started '. Note that this will remove your installed programs, but will not affect personal files and modern applications.

  • GeForce 7350LE graphics card fan is running all the time or at certain temperatures?

I have a HP Pavilion m8147c Media Center with AMD Atlon 64 X 2 Dual Core processor 5600 + 2.80 GHz 3 GB of Ram and run these last time the parser when began to enter the mode "sleep" or something. Sometimes, there is a warning that says something like no signal DVI and one more, but still not long enough to read all this. I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I had just installed a new game but enough course has nothing to do with that I used the system restore and backed up to a time before it was installed. At the beginning it was only when you play, but now, it happens with almost nothing running. This pc was purchased in July 2007 and I have another office but I let my wife use one and I use the other. I opened the folder and clean all the dust but noticed when I booted again that the fan does not work on the video card. I don't know if it lights at certain times or works all the time but I think that's the problem. He was about one hour and lights do not at all. Any information will be appreciated.

captna wrote: thanks again for the help, I thought it was probably the case but never bothered with graphics cards before today. Any thoughts on an upgrade for not much more money? It was a pretty good pc when I bought it, but it is old, and there should be some video cards better for the same price that would work. I'll add some memory and while I am because the grandchildren need to play their games too. Do you know where to find an upgrade that would be compatible? Yet once again, I appreciate the help.

Hello captna, here is a link for the specifications of your system. It shows that the system was delivered with a 300 Watt power supply.

There is not much better performing video cards that work with a 300 Watt power supply. Most require at least a 400 Watt power supply or greater power.

You could improve the feed and the video card, then possibly 4 new memory modules, but the cost would start to add up. On a system to make a few years about it, I don't know if this would be the way to go, or consider getting a new system.

You could simply acquire a new video of the same type card and get the system back, because there was, or even try and find a graphics card fan to replace the failed fan. It would be the least expensive option.

Your system was shipped with the memory 3 X 1 GB modules. It only supports 4 X 1 memory modules, so upgrading the memory would not help all that much. You'd probably remove the existing memory and install 4 new memory modules in order to be compatible with your system memory. It is not recommended to mix memory strips.

    Just some thoughts.
