  -Do you want to create tools for developers? If so, we must look in the API of project VI and VI server. If this isn't the case, please compile your application LV as executable and call this one using a batch file.

  99% of the systems should have DVD players, if they were built in the last 5 years or so years - if the system is older than that, there is a good change that it will not be good enough to give a sense running Win7.

  The chmod + x command should be performed after you have created the file test.command, not inside her.

  Another way to run shell commands is via Automator-> run the Shell Script

  Check the script to make sure that the full path to the 'my text file' exists. I would never use spaces or special characters in the warehouses of data, files, name vm, etc. Use underscores if you want to separate words for clarity. Spaces require a lot of additional error control and programming. To use spaces or special characters, you must escape at all.

  With the Virtual Machine shutdown, not suspended and VMware Fusion closed copy the target Virtual Machine hard disk external package and double-click it to launch the first time and it will fill an entry on the Virtual Machine library.

  The extent of the running Windows natively on a disk external Windows is not capable of it in itself although there may be some ways according to the type of external hard drive and various Boot Loader/managers that are out there.

  We have a customer who insists on execution of ESX4 from a USB key that he bought from HP.  Their system is HP DL 385 G6, with card RAID P400 with 512 MB of RAM and a 147 GB 10K SAS drive to each server.  Don't ask me why they chose this configuration, they ordered hardware from another vendor.  I was able to install ESX on the USB drive that is connected to the internal USB port on the motherboard.

  The only way I could install ESX4 was to use the physical hard disk to the file/tmp/log and swap.  I'm really trying to discourage the customer run this in its enterprise environment (health care).

  Before someone can tell me if running ESX4, not ESX4i, since a key USB is a VMware support?  What will happen when / if the hard disk that holds him fails to file/tmp/log and swap?  He won't buy a second hard drive to put these files on a mirror RAID-1 protected, so I feel like this is a very bad hardware design.  The customer insists it's better because there are no moving parts on the flash drive, but I don't think he realizes that flash drives have a high rate of failure more than hard drives and running its Enterprise server on a flashdrive of $10.

  I went through the documentation but can't find information about ESX 4i connecting a flash drive.  If anyone has links to the documentation indicating that linking it ESX4 in a Flash is not recommended or supported, I would appreciate it!  Thank you.

  Must not be running ESX USB flash, it is not designed to do this, ESXi should be.

  ESXi is high level functionality like VMotion ESX, etc. HA absloutely. The only thing lacking is the service console.

  I think I have the answer.
  When you are tripping through the ODI designer his will and the reading of this path of the Oracle_ODI1\oracledi.sdk\lib file
  Now there is another folder called Lib that has the re.py causing allows designer run the re module perfectly.

  When the same scenarios is called via startscen it reads Oracle_ODI1\oracledi\agent\lib and here there is that Jython.jar is there but Lib that contains the re.py is missing.

  Temporary solution - copy the Lib of Oracle_ODI1\oracledi.sdk\lib to Oracle_ODI1\oracledi\agent\lib and remember your startscen. It should work.

  I call it a temporary solution because we would need to change the odiparams accordingly to read of the namely (Lib) from the right path and I don't have much time to watch now. I'll look into it later.

  You can try if it works, and if you want you can check with metalink if there is good solution or achieve the Support of Oracle for the most appropriate solution or other experts who have experinced the same can update the solution.
