  Recently I talked to a problem with one of my scripts, which packets of identity papers: a guy wrote to me that when it run ESTK, the script works fine, but when it is run from the Scripts panel - creating empty folders, does nothing more but an error (there is an error handler in the script that records the errors in a text file) :

  Error: Invalid value for parameter "versionComments' event 'packageForPrint '. Expected String but received TRUE.

  It's strange, because I do not use this optional parameter in the script.

  BTW, on my computers, it works well, both ID and ESTK.

  Someone has experienced this problem? Any ideas on why this is happening?

  It probably has its version scriptPreferences value 5. To make your script foolproof, you probably set the scriptPreferences (and restore them when we have the gift of being nice...)

  BTW, kAppVersion = parseFloat (app.version) is a more readable form to get the version number...

  I've looked everywhere trying to find how to access a shared file on my RN212 NAS remotely from another program (kodi) on my iPhone 6 more remotely, away from home. I tried to FTP, UPnP, HTTP, etc. anything and it's driving me crazy! I run the program kodi from my phone for watching videos stored on my SIN, I have a router NightHawkR7000 and believe that I am fairly warned to get this figured out, but apparently not lol I have all the correct ports forwarded, but perhaps I'm missing a step somewhere.   The editions of Windows Home, if XP or Vista (and maybe even 7) may not be the side server to a remote desktop connection.  They do not contain the code necessary to accept the connection.

  On the 2nd PC, Labview 2009 RTE and VisionRTE but the IDE will not be installed.

  Hi Durnek,

  in fact, the sub-panels works only with the local machine (to the best of my knowledge).

  If you need just to display Secondary VI running remotely, I suggest you to expose the VI with Vision of Web server and let it run on the remote computer. On the computer without Vision, you can use ActiveX container with web browser and load the web page (dashboard) of the VI with Vision. So you can get practically the same behavior if you use sub-panels.

  -Do you want to create tools for developers? If so, we must look in the API of project VI and VI server. If this isn't the case, please compile your application LV as executable and call this one using a batch file.

  -LV prefer specific supplies. LV is a programming language. There are several power supply providers (including OR) which provide directly the LV API for their power supplies. So, essentially, the approach is:

  1. choose food that serves your needs.

  2. check if the power supply has a standard interface for programming (such as Ethernet, GPIB, or if the power supply is PXI, is already providing a programming interface!)

  3. check if the LV API (so-called "instrument driver") is available for the device. In the case of a PXI system, get you a device driver (for example NI DCPower).

  4. check if the LV samples are available (for example in the Finder for example LV once you have installed the driver).

  99% of the systems should have DVD players, if they were built in the last 5 years or so years - if the system is older than that, there is a good change that it will not be good enough to give a sense running Win7.
