Run the database sql script

Is this possible in some form?

< = 'name' datasource cfquery name = "dsn" >
#query.sqlstatement # < / cfquery >

Yes, if you mean creating a query string, and then using them in a cfquery. Usually, you will need to place the text of the query in a PreserveSingleQuotes() function if you have settings that are placed in single quotes, something like this

#PreserveSingleQuotes (sqlstatement) #.

    Complete script.

I had been struggling with the same problem for 2 days. You run the script as sysdba, how do you get the error then insufficient? I did my first test GG in February. I've been on 11.2.0.3 + patch January + patch for the integrated capture. It has worked well for me. I went back to my GG test week with 11.2.0.3 + patch of July last and ran into the same problem. The solution for me was the last version of GG. See my previous post for the patch numbers.

  • running the irca.h script

    Hello
I have a problem while I am trying to install Oracle SOA Suite 10 g 3 on 10gXE of the Oracle database

When I run the irca.sh script to load the database schemas, this message appears on the screen:

ERROR: Cannot connect to database because of the following error:
ORA - 00604: error occurred at the SQL level 1 recursive
ORA - 12705: cannot access NLS data or invalid environment specified files

I need help quickly because this application needs me for a Project of the University

    Thank you very much

What version of java are you using?

You must make sure you only have the good installed j2se and properly configure the JAVA_HOME

You will probably need to install the version of the j2se, I use: j2sdk-1_4_2_18-linux-i586 - rpm.bin

    JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_18/JRE; Export JAVA_HOME

    See you soon

  • Response delay after you run the patch_weblogic.sh script

    Hello
I installed the 9.1.0.1 version of Oracle Identity Manager and did all the steps for the upgrade to version 9.1.0.2, when you run the patch_weblogic.sh script, takes too much time and I have no answer to be built successfully. It is necessary to implement this script.
I use Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.5

    Thank you

This is where memory questions come into it. According to your previous message in which issues of memory during installation, you may have them again. I suggest that you stop your application server. Then in the /xellerate/OIMApplications directory, delete the 2 folders that represent the ear files. IOM startup and it will give an error on the deployment. Then run the script of your patch. In the folder/xellerate/ logs, there is a file patch_weblogic.log that you can tail to monitor the progress. It will give you the output of the patch and then there is also the log of the server itself in the /servers/ /logs and there is a .out file I think that will give you any other information. Just watch and see what file's modification timestamp and tail that one it is too.

  • How to run multiple parallel sql scripts?

I try to execute multiple sql scripts parallel to the short run of the process via sqlplus. Are there opportunities to do? LINUX ORACLE 5. XX

I do it too via Scheduler, but now I need to do this via sqlplus or shell + sqlplus?

How do I start using shell script several xterminals and ech session begins all the sql scripts?

    nohup./SQL1.sh &

    nohup./sql2.sh &

    nohup./SQL3.sh &

The '&' causes the script1.sh to run in the background so that the command prompt is returned immediately.  This means that sql2.sh can start immediately and at the same time as sql1.sh.  It doesn't have to wait for sql1.sh.   This assumes that there are no dependencies between scripts!  This meets your need to run scripts in parallel.

The nohup untie your shell script.  So, even if you disconnect, the script continues to run.  Without the nohup, if you were to close your session before the end of the scripts running, they would get fired.

  • Error when you run the setEssbaseEnv.sh script

    Hi all

    In the 11.1.2.x version:

    MIDDLEWARE_HOME/EPMSystem11R1/products/Essbase/EssbaseServer/templates/startMaxl.sh

Scripts call another script, setEssbaseEnv.sh. When you run the script 'setEssbaseEnv.sh' it gives the error below:

    $ sh setEssbaseEnv.sh

setEssbaseEnv.sh: line 4: close syntax error unexpected token ' (')

    setEssbaseEnv.sh: line 4: "cd $J (EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE) / bin /".

Why use only the location of the templates? There should be a bin folder.

  • Send form data to the database with scripted button

I know not how to connect the form to an Access database. However, I do not want the form to connect to the database until the user clicks a button. When the user completes the form and clicks the button, I need the form to connect to the database and save form data in a new record. How script button to do this?

    Any help is appreciated.

I think that you will need to use a layer between the two.  For example, LC, you can do a process that takes your data and stores it in your database.  Your form may submit to this process through SOAP and REST.

  • How to run the application startup script before the start of telnet (inetd)

    Hello

I need to run my application startup script before the beginning of Telnet users on the server. At the present time, the script is at /etc/rc2.d/S98startup which is not useful.

    Thanks in advance...

    Published by: user4027740 on April 7, 2012 12:41

I am inclined to ask 'why', but I refrain...

The problem you'll have is that 'telnet' (really inetd) will be started by SMF and your app startup is a legacy script. I don't know of anyway to you allows to map addictive SMF one departure inherited. The only solution is to write a start of SMF for your application and do inetd:default require your application to be online before you start.

  • Run the command line script AfterFX

    Hi all

I'm trying to run a script from the command line AfterFX.exe and I get the message: "unable to run the script at line 1. Syntax error.

If I run the same Script AE editor script file, it works perfectly

Here is the command line that I use:

    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CS6\Support Files\AfterFX.exe" indefinite display - noui s 'D:\Product\Watermark\Rendering\WatermarkedSecuritySample.jsx '.

Someone has an idea of what may cause this error? I tried to run the script directly from the command line like

    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CS6\Support Files\AfterFX.exe" indefinite display - noui s 'alert('1') '.

and it works very well for small script but mine is way big to do

As you can probably guess with the 'watermark' and 'Security' in the name of the file, I can't post here, the script file, all I can say is that line 1 is:

    {

    projectName = "D:\\Product\\WatermarkTemplate.aep"; var

I tried to replace the entire script 'alert('1')'; and it causes the same error when running it from the command line

Also, if anyone knows where I can find the command line arguments AfterFX.exe description, I'd be very happy... everybody talks about aerender.exe, but I need these options to AfterFX.exe

    Thanks for your help

Have you tried using "-r" instead of "-s"?

("-s" argument is a script; and to "-r" argument is a path to the script)

  • Run the second sql statement only if the first sql statement is set to zero.

Hey guys I seem to have a mental block here. I have two sql statements. I would like to than the second to run only if the first sql statement is set to zero. I know that I can use PLsql but I would really like to see if I can do this with sql upward. Your answers are very much appreciated.
    This is the first sql
      Select     ft.fund_code,
                 ft.orgn_code,
                 ft.acct_code,
                 ft.amount,

from ftrbremb fb , ftcractg ft
          where fb.doc_code = 'TR000038'
          and fb.ftpbport_id = ft.ftpbport_id
    second sql statement
         Select ft.fund_code,
                 ft.orgn_code,
                 ft.acct_code,
                 ft.amount,
                 fb.owner_pidm,

          and fx.ftrbremb_id = fb.id
          and ft.ftprexps_id = fx.id;
How can I combine these two statements together so that when the first is null the second run. As a bonus, I want to get just the first line as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to accomplish with the case statement but it dosent everything seems to work for me.
    Thank you

    Miguel,

the idea is simple: join the two queries (via the union of all) and to change the second part as to return only the rows if the first query returns no rows by changing the NOT EXISTS (first request). Hope I made it clear... ;)

    Rem DESCRIPTION
Rem Create tables for the dbms hierarchical profiler
    Rem
    Rem NOTES
Rem The following tables are required to collect data:
    Rem dbmshp_runs
Rem information on hierarchical profiler runs
    Rem
    Rem dbmshp_function_info -

    Rem dbmshp_parent_child_info -
    Rem parent-child level profiler information
    Rem
Rem The dbmshp_runnumber sequence is used for generating unique
    Rem run numbers.
    Rem
Rem The tables and sequence can be created in the schema for each user
Rem who wants to gather profiler data. Alternately these tables can be
Rem created in a central schema. In the latter case the user creating
Rem these objects is responsible for granting appropriate privileges
Rem (insert, update on the tables and select on the sequence) to all
Rem users who want to store data in the tables. Appropriate synonyms
Rem must also be created so the tables are visible from other user
    Rem schemas.

  • After you create the action sql script does not not for connector DBUM

    Hello

I'm trying to integrate the IOM with Oracle DB using Connector DBUM. Commissioning user works very well.

But after the transfer of the user, we need to insert (< user name >, "RLS_DEV") in the values in a table.

    It's my script

    INSERT INTO CAMPDB. RLS_USER_GROUPS (USERNAME, GROUPNAME) VALUES ({__NAME__}, "RLS_DEV");

I tried different options too, but nothing has worked. Either I get the invalid character or command SQL not properly completed or missing expression error.

    1) INSERT INTO CAMPDB. VALUES RLS_USER_GROUPS ({__NAME__}, "RLS_DEV") - without semicolon

    2) INSERT INTO CAMPDB. VALUES RLS_USER_GROUPS ({__NAME__}, 'RLS_DEV')) - closed at the end with double hook

    3) INSERT INTO CAMPDB. VALUES RLS_USER_GROUPS ({__NAME__}, RLS_DEV) - without quotes to RLS_DEV

    4) INSERT INTO CAMPDB. RLS_USER_GROUPS VALUES (__NAME__, 'RLS_DEV') - without flowers for __NAME__ necklaces

< username >-> is the name of the user configured on the system target.

-> GroupName is RLS_DEV. It is the same for all users.

But it is throwing errors like below.

I looked everywhere, but couldn't find a way to solve this problem.

    Please provide entries.

After having tried many options... under query worked.

INSERT INTO CAMPDB. RLS_USER_GROUPS (USERNAME, GROUPNAME) VALUES ({__NAME__}, "RLS_DEV")

But, now when I try to delete/disable-provision of DB Oracle user account, account is not deleted.  I have download the below messages in the log file. I couldn't find what the real cause of this situation. What could the cause of this behavior.

  • Moving 14.3 of TMS in the database SQL external - someone did he do?

After copying the SQL database on our existing MSDS database is there anything else I would do other than using the TMS to point to the new database of tools or is it?

I'm looking for someone who has done this kind of right move forward.

    Thank you!

We did pretty well what you're asking, though slightly differently, as we moved from one external SQL Server to another... but the process is the same.

    (1) stop the TMS/IIS services

    (2) copy your database to the new server

    (3) use the tools of TMS where from the TMS is looking.

    (4) return to the MSD/IIS.
