Run the function after the update of values

I am writing a pretty basic plugin where I need to have a function to run after a point values have been updated.

I do this to change the point values:

params [POINT]-> u.td.x_value = FLOAT2FIX (pointX);

params [POINT]-> u.td.y_value = FLOAT2FIX (pointY);

params [POINT]-> uu.change_flags = PF_ChangeFlag_CHANGED_VALUE;

This works very well for updating the values, but the code that goes after this block is executed until the values change really. Is there a way to force change to happen once I set new values or is there another place I can put the function so that it is executed after the values are actually changed?

Hi Jesse Toula. Welcome to the forum!

If you want to change is instantaneous, you can use AEGP_SetStreamValue() instead of the method that you use.

There is no function that is guaranteed to be called when you change the values.

UPDATE_PARAMS_UI could be called, and also a call of minutes is likely.

You can set a flag in the sequence data to inform yourself of the pos - t change operations that must take place in such cases.

personally, I'd go with the AEGP_SetStreamValue() solution.

Updated Creative Suite CS5 for CS6 the other day. Installed on two computers (iMac 27 "Oct 2009 and 2008 MacBook Pro 15" i7), everything worked fine. Ran the Adobe Application Manager said updates were available. Worked fine on my laptop, but errors are kept on my iMac. I had to go into terminal and give the installer sudo permissions so that he could run on the iMac, but it is finally gone. After update, Dreamweaver opens is no longer on my iMac (still works great on my old MacBook Pro). It bounces only once in the doc - no splash screen, no possibility to report an accident. I've deleted preferences and cache nothing helps. I then uninstalled Dreamweaver (using Setup, with preferences delete checked) and reinstalled without running the update - it will not always be open.

I then transferred these files in their respective places in the library, and Dreamweaver is now working again.

  • Cannot run the update on Lightroom 6 / Win10

I was fortunately run Lightroom 6 on a Windows 7 PC, but just bought a new PC running 64-bit Windows 10. I installed the original version of Lightroom 6 (version 6.0) and it works well, but I can't upgrade to the latest version. When I select "Help / updates" I get a screen to update telling me that the updates are available for Adobe Application Manager and Lightroom 6. I click 'OK '. Adobe Application Manager then downloads, I get a message saying 'Adobe Application Manager is updated' and then nothing. If I manually select "Adobe Application Manager" in the "Start" menu in Windows that nothing appears on the screen. If I reboot my PC and then run the update again, exactly the same thing: AAM downloads, says it will update and then does nothing. Running Windows Task Manager, I see that two processes, "Adobe Application Manager (32 bit)" and "Adobe Application Manager (updated Installer Sub System) (32 bit)" are running, but nothing happens.

Help to successfully run the upgrade would be highly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Chris

OK, finally got it working by downloading and installing a new version of the MAA. After that, the patch LR6.5 was properly executed.

Thanks for the help, Jim. Much appreciate.

  • NB200 - screen resolution is not enough to run the update

I am trying to install an update to a program that I already have in my NB200 and I can't because it says the resolution of the screen is not sufficient for the execution of this update.

Can someone suggest a 'fix' for this please?

    Hello

Well, I have no idea why no update of the request for the resolution of the screen because this should not affect the update procedures, but it would be interesting to change the resolution, and then to re-run the update.

I guess that you're using Win XP right click on the desktop-> properties-> settings

Here, you can increase the resolution of the screen.

On the other hand, it might be possible that your graphics card driver needs to be updated.

  • Is there a way to know if the current modules are compatible with the latest upgrade of Firefox before running the update?

I want to know if my Add-ons and current themes are compatible with the latest update of Firefox before running the update.

    Hello azdec.

You can check the add page - we in addons.mozilla.org so it's just one or two. In my view, there is an extensions in the Gallery of modules that allows you to see if your modules are compatible with the newer versions of Firefox. But you'll have to look for them, because I don't know how it's called.

I remind you that if you want an add-on to be compatible with a newer version of Firefox, you must contact its author.

In addition, the version of Firefox you are using right now has been suspended and is no longer supported. In addition, it has known bugs and security problems. I invite you to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and ease of use. You can get it for free, as always, to getfirefox.com.

  • 64-bit Windows vista hangs after you run the update

    Hello

Last night I ran the update of windows on my 64 bit vista laptop, he said there are 2 updates important (I don't remember what they were) and 1 optional (for security essentials).  I chose to install them all, let run updates, restarted the computer when he was asked and then pinned the problem.  Windows starts up nicely, all my startup apps pop up like normal (things like security basics, steam, etc.) and, if I don't touch it, it looks fine.  Sometimes I can get as opening firefox, sometimes just moving my mouse t - it, but the computer just hangs.  I can still move my mouse (sometimes it turns in a circle, as the computer working on something) but I can't click on anything whatsoever, cannot Ctrl + alt + delete... my only way of l ' down made a difficult start.

I tried to use the tool of the previous version to roll back to before the update, the Wizard works well and said completing, but I still have the same question.  If I'm in safe mode or safe mode with networking, it works fine. I even tried to delete pending.xml to see if it was an update stuck but who did not (cmd said that there was no pending.xml found to remove)

Anyone know what this might be or how to fix it?  I'm fresh out of ideas

    Hello

Given that everything works well in safe mode which makes them a third-party application causes the computer to freeze.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
Here are the steps to do:
    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    The user account control permission.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
    password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load starting points.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If the problem is resolved to check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link given below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    8. in addition, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software problem on your computer.
Reset the computer to start as usual
    9. When you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
    10. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    11. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

For more information, refer to the article below.

  • Question about the update of value added for the Satellite P100-160 package

    Hello

I got an email off the coast of Toshiba today telling me there is a value added package update available (PVAT (v1.0.25).
I downloaded and unpacked. It contains three options:
2 don't buttons, button 6, no button but there is no readme etc to tell me which version is my P100-160.

I have added, trying to install one of them gives me an error that it has already installed older versions that should be deleted everything first.

Can someone advise please that I should use?
    Thank you!

    Hi guys

Value added package contains many different Toshiba and utility tools!
Satellite P100-160 belongs to the PSPAA series! So, you should always choose this series if you want to download the drivers from the Toshiba page!
This number can be checked on the bottom of the unit.

I visited the page of the Toshiba driver and checked the details.
You will find an info that this package installs a range of important public services.
-TOSHIBA components common Driver: this module is an essential component of Windows Vista. He will have to make the other original programming TOSHIBA works correctly.
-TOSHIBA Power Saver: The energy saver controls energy by opting for optimal power settings, if the machine is connected or battery-based knowledge and based on the remaining battery power.

In my opinion, if you want to update the package of value added, you must remove all the tools of this and after new reboot you must install it again

You will see that it is described as being for IT and the developers, but it is no different than the same file that you can download from the Windows Update site (if you can get there).
