  HI, my Macbook Air is just by its care of apple for 3 years and the trackpad has starting acting weird.

  It is very sensitive to the touch and the top of page 1/3 in particular is almost dead, unless you rub hard.  He gets very nervous to use, and it has now got to the point, it is unusable.

  Another side effect, it seems that the keyboard is blocked sort of as if SHIFT CAPS LOCK is activated when the trackpad is odd.

  If I connect a magical mouse and disable the trackpad, and then it works fine and no problems with the keyboard.

  So my thought was the trackpad is defective.  I bought a new replacement apple trackpad and replaced it thinking that would solve the problem, but it's exactly the same way - so it doesn't seem like the trackpad and would point to something between the trackpad signal and I think that... the card mother maybe?

  For some reason, my cursor has become very lag since getting delayed write error messages causing my system to screw-up. I finally reinstalled a new Windows on drive D, my old windows (does not work) is in the C drive. Now, when I scroll through pages on the net or in applications, it is very slow to respond and is unstable.

  This is also consistent with windows mobile. When I move a window it becomes very nervous. My system was fine until I got these error centuries ago. Is there a way can I fix?

  Hi, this is my first topic.

  In December 2009, I bought my laptop and now I have a problem very nervous:
  The laptop freezes sometimes without any reason. When I'm playing all the games or listen to music, it freezes, I can't do anything and the speekers give a thud, like scratching!

  The only solution is to hold the power button for about 5 seconds and reboot the system.
  But the problem also occurs when the system is in normal windows mode. But there are very irregular.

  This sometimes the questions are not easy to understand.
  You must also understand that all we own favorite operating system and application configuration.
  You got laptop with factory settings and the own operating system preinstalled. All the stuff installed is not responsible for these issues of freezing. Who knows what you have installed two months and processes that are running in the background.
  Maybe some Microsoft updates block something.

  Sorry, but I think it won't be easy to find the final answer why this happen.

  Your ad, it's not not clear to me if you replaced both batteries or one of the 2 batteries. Just a question. Maybe check out that you have two new batteries respecting the polarity. Tighten the plug, then hold the power button down briefly. The green light? Maybe then try to restart the pairing process. Maybe try the steps on the below link.

  It is always best to avoid trusting any unsolicited message, but Apple seems to have been legitimate (at least the "apple id" address is correct).

  Looks like your password has been found or guessed, since Apple ID accounts often have details of credit or Bank attached I would get back immediately, also check your other accounts online - especially if you use the same password anywhere else.

  Is your iPhoto Library Library on your system drive in the pictures folder? And you have a lot of free space on your system drive? The migration will need additional temporary storage.

  Then drag the iPhoto library icon pictures open to create a new library of Photos of her.

• Firefox is exponentially slower after update

  Firefox v. 13.0 was the last version which gave me good results. I tried 13.0.1 but my speed has dropped dramatically. I could go back to v 13.0 and resumed my normal speed. I tried more than updated, but given that my speed has dropped again, I again returned to the v. 13.0. Now, when I installed v. 17.0, not only has my speed dropped, v. 13.0 None no longer works, either.

  Using www.speedtest.net my ping went from 5 to 8 ms at 85-135 ms! Currently, I get a ping ms 113 using Firefox and a ping 6 ms using Opera. My gears are appearing the same, but the ping time difference is indicative of the huge downturn I've lived by nothing more was updated to a new version.

  I tried all the advice to others who have experienced this frustrating slowdown but nothing has worked. I finally eliminated everything I've accumulated all these years I have fortunately used Firefox except my favorites and reinstalled v. 13.0, the last version that worked, but even that could not solve my problem. What a pain in the butt! I completely removed v. 13.0, deleted all files and installed v. 17.0.

  I ran in safe mode, ran the new v. 17.0 installation without installing any add ons or additional plugins. I deleted my profile. I went from zero. Nothing has worked.

  I tried to reset the permissions and even very nervously turned off my firewall without result. I had not tried the Windows SafeMode with networking, but Firefox worked properly when I did. Yay, progress. I rebooted and tried disabling my firewall, again without success. I decided to stop completely the firewall and that fixes the problem. I thought it might be a conflict and I need to find a new firewall, but I completely uninstalled and reinstalled my firewall, set my permissions and voila, it works! I loaded nine pages to six seconds, what time it took more than four minutes for them load completely.

  This same fixed a problem I've had for a few months with Thunderbird. It took forever for the graphics to load when I pressed "Display remote content." I also had intermittent connection problems, which seems to be resolved.

  Is it advisable to rebuild or repair the iPhoto library before installing the new OS X?

  To free up space on my laptop, 2 years ago I moved my iPhoto to an external HD library; So, is no longer on laptop.  I have 2 external library on other HDs additional backups. Despite this, iPhoto sometimes hold /cursor towers and I have to quit smoking, or force them to leave.

  I also have external on 2 HDs Time Machine backups.

  If I move iPhoto to Photos, event groups disappear?

  I am very nervous about to destroy, loss or damage of the huge photo library by updating to OS X 9 or higher.

  Also, I use Word (Microsoft Office for Mac 2008) for work - this depends on OS 9 and later versions?

  You are far behind (about 8 years) and there is no real good option more except to move to El captain and pictures which is a program that is new and different, with a learning curve (even if you were familiar with iPhoto 11 before the upgrade) and the probability that you will need to update most of your software increasing your learning curve

  I don't know which is better - but in the future, I suggest keep you up-to-date and does lag behind - it works better

  I'll upgrade to the best of the ability of my budget to get best performance with Photoshop and Lightroom 2015 and related software. I am a bit out of the loop that I have not followed what is happening since 2010, just as as a spectator for the most... I searched extensively and intensively for several weeks and it seems that the more I learn, less I some what to do... I will list my plans interim and my doubts and questions and hope that some kind soul will offer advice, maybe share some information on where to go for further clarification or just tell me what to do! I'm not sure what to do with these, they are 6GBs ports. I was thinking about a work drive raid 0 to a port with a couple of SSDS too adequate or sufficient (not sure what size here). I'm owner also already ST2000DM001 of Seagate 2 disc HARD Barracuda 2 TB SATAII 6 GB-s technology 7200 RPM drive naked cover brand new in packaging.

  2. my berries are full of old records.  My system and applications are on a 500GB - I have a 1 to filled with photoshop psd for the most part - files (I just read that it is best to keep the TIFF files as non-compressed and I wonder if my psd files saved can hurt convert tiff files), a 1 TB partitioned into 800 MB for the current photoshop files and 200 for personal documents files I have the original 320 GB I was using as a small raid 0 dedicated to the photoshop file I had open and stops. the 120 GB in the Accelsior of mercury, can I use as a scratch disk. This screwy configuration is in response to my external LaCie recently dying (it's what I wa using machines - (this player been gave me, even though I know better than to buy whatever it is named lacie) I have everything backed up on bluray but I am aware of the precariousness of my set-up.) I have a bootable mavericks and a yosemite bootable on flash drives, but I'm very nervous about my situation as a whole.

  3. so I have a lot of options, not a lot of money and a lot of confusion about the best thing to do now... I need a sustained speed - once is not only fast open - more that I need disk space.

             purchasing some enterprise hdd on sale (5 x 500GB to 1Tb HDD) and putting them in externally in a safe raid for Time Machine connected to a                firewire 800 port, or I could purchase 2 large 3GBs ssd's and put them in raid1 in my spare optical bay for time machine and then transfer offsite at                regular intervals for storage ( I would transfer the other Time Machine option offsite as well).

  I think that the size of your existing disks is actually one of your bottlenecks, so I kinda disagree with your idea that you need speed, more space. Adobe apps like chunks of free space for the use of work records and caches. Your installation seems also too complicated.

  Fast large capacity disks are pretty cheap these days. You can get a TB 6 for $200 Toshiba and put it in a good external enclosure. Also, you should be able to install a HDD 4 TB within a Mac Pro 2008, preferably WD Black or HGST. A good pen for a 4 biggest external to cost in the neighborhood of $75, OWC.

  I don't would not invest in a bunch of young readers, whether they are readers "business" or not.

  Inateck is a low-cost USB 3 map.

  I think I may have made a big mistake.

  An elderly parent gave me his Toshiba Satellite to "clean". I just ahead and reinstalled XP Home on thinking that I could simply reinstall all drivers by downloading the Toshiba web site. (as I have done for other portable parents)

  XP Home installed using an existing drive and use the MS code on the label under the lap top.

  However, I am now very nervous because I can't find the drivers on the Toshiba web site for this product and I have a load of unknown/other devices in Audio/video/ethernet/mass storage device manager.

  I took a guess at the wireless driver and have wifi work so I'm online and you have activated Windows.

  Can someone point me in the right direction for all drivers please.
