  I have a W550S with a disply 2880 x 1620 running Windows 10. Once logged in, after a few minutes, the mouse pointer becomes very small, about 1/2 the size of the regular cursor. I use 200% scaling (recommended for high resolution viewing). I can restore the normal size pointer by selecting under the mouse settings, but finally it switches back on about 1/2 size.

  It seems that Windows 'forget' that she runs at 200% scale and turns again to the normal scale of 100% of IPR.

  Does anyone else have this problem? It is a problem because when she becomes so tiny I can't often found on the screen.

  Oh and I sometimes run with an external monitor-normal DPI connected to the laptop. I think the problem started when I plugged the external monitor, but it happens even if I do not have the external monitor connected.

  For work, I always stick 3 images of different sizes on one even in photoshop. This was not a problem and waiting always a lot when I did in ps5, but since upgrading to SP6 they always stick flat, desaturated and underexposed. Put side-by-side with the original they look terrible.

  It's something I desperately need to solve as I show this small collection of my clients and potential clients.

  I changed my color settings to try to address that point, but it made absolutely no difference.

  Is not an RGB color space is a color model. Color spaces are sRGB, Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB etc.

  Because apparently you are not familiar with these concepts, you should work systematically in sRGB, which displays about right in all scenarios, even in the absence of color management.

  The default color of Lightroom (if you have not changed) is ProPhoto, which can quickly trouble you unless you know what you're doing. Change it to sRGB in Lr preferences > external editing.

  Do not change the Photoshop color settings! As you will quickly get in even bigger trouble that you are now. Reset the settings by default and don't touch it again until you know more. What to change is Lightroom "Edit in Photoshop" color space.

  Vertical centering is a print design concept that does not have much value on the web because everyone uses different views and viewport sizes.  What looks good on your screen is going to be very different on a smaller device web (think Tablet & SmartPhone users).

  I think that the best you can do is add a bit of top margin to your page with CSS.

  This behavior soiunds looks a lot like the Sasser worm that causes very heavy use of the CPU and causes also the PC restart regularly.

  You need start your computer in safe mode, and then run your antivirus software (I would also like to run your Malware software as well) to try to remove the virus. However, Sasser is not so easy to remove so please also consult the following URL: -.

  Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

  (1) restart you device.

  (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

  (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.

  (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

  (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

  (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

  (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

  (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes. Try to restore as New first and test it. If ok try to restore the backup (the backup may be corrupted).

• Internet MacBook becomes very slow

  THE PROBLEM

  A week ago from the internet on my Macbook has become very slow. Web sites load then, but it may take up to five minutes on some occasions, or even longer. This happens systematically 10 seconds to 5 minutes after the connection to the web. At first everything is super fast, then all pages/apps using the internet starts to turn.

  ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS

  • Replaced the modem & router: I bought a new modem-router combo to replace my original separate modem and router, no change in question.
  • Tried a third modem/router: a friend gave me his modem router to try and the same issue. (In both cases I had my ISP to update the MAC address)
  • Tried other devices: I tried the connectivity to other devices (iphone & ipad) and found no problem. Speedtest app appears 32mbps to the low and 5 Mbps + constantly.
  • Tried another browser: was using firefox, I tried Chrome - same question. In addition, any application on my computer using the web runs slowly, no browsers only.
  • Tried to connect to the Internet through direct ethernet modem: no improvement
  • Tried to restart the computer and the modem/router: it is 7 + times for two days with no change
  • Tried to connect to the web via a mobile hotspot on my phone: problem persists.
  • Updated my computer and all applications: no change
  • I started in safeboot and the problem disappeared

  You did a great job trying to fix this yourself! Given that the problem didn't occur in safemode, our next step is to check your login items. Please follow the instructions below:

  Important: To print these instructions, click the Share button in the Help window, and then choose print.

  Test your login items

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click users and groups.

  2. Click on your account under the current user name, and then click connection points.

     Make a list of the login items, you will need to remember later.

  3. Select all the elements of connection, and then click the button Delete .

  4. Choose the Apple menu > restart.

  5. If this solves the problem, reopen the preferences users and groups, add the elements of connection one at a time and restart your Mac after the addition of each of them.

     If the problem persists, follow the steps above to remove only the last element of connection that you added.

  When you reinstall Firefox it always uses your old profile with all the old things that you had. That said, you're lucky, there is a new feature that lets you "Reset" of Firefox. This will remove some of the pieces that might cause problems while it keeps your bookmarks and other important things safe.

  This sounds like it may be related to a power management.  Looks like it's to reduce the performance of the material to save batteries.  This is a normal behavior with laptops, but it can become a nuisance if someone does not create a power plan that does not take account of this.

  Click on Show additional plans.  There should be a plan for high performance.  This plan will be favourable performance during the conservation of battery, so your battery charge may not last as long.
