  It's very strange. Usually, if you press the FN key and keep down flash cards must be indicated at the top of the screen. Please try to restart flash cards: start > all programs > TOSHIBA > utilities > restart Flash Cards.

  Thank you for using Microsoft Answers.  Right-click on the toolbar and select Properties, click the Notification tab.  There, select Volume and power.  That places the icon of volume and battery on your toolbar.

• Satellite A200-1VP - Trackpad and the control volume

  for the first time posting here so apologies in advance if I posted this topic in the wrong place or have not included all relevant information.

  My question is about a Satellite A200-1VP I bought recently from a friend. Model number PSAE6E-08D02YEN. The laptop has been completely annihilated and installed Windows 7 Ultimate before being redeemed.

  This seems to have brought the track pad and volume control to stop working.
  Are there drivers available that I could try to help to solve this problem?

  I checked on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp Toshiba download page, and as I can see it, your machine is fully supported for Win7 32 bit, so you need to do is install all available drivers, tools and utilities.

  I think you'll do OK with the Audio Mixer Panel. But, you can explore keyframing the volume level of the audio element 'elastic '. It is the orange line which runs horizontally through the middle of the audio clip.

  a. hold CTRL of the computer main keyboard and the left mouse click on a place where you want to place a keyframe volume. You can do it in as many places on the rubberband if necessary. Then, with the mouse cursor, move the White points (keyframes) up or down to increase or decrease the volume to a location along the clip.

  You can try the following steps and check if you can access Sound Recorder and WordPad.

  Method 1:

  a. go to C:\Windows\System32 and double-click sndrec32.exe and check

I can't understand how do I know if I disabled something accidentally or what. Reset did not help.   Problems with the capacitive band can sometimes be helped by doing a Hard Reset as follows.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.
