• A dark line at the bottom of the screen - influence THE Qosmio X 500?

  Hello

  I have a X 500/00 X, and at the height of the windows task bar, there is a long and dark blur/shadow which extends along the screen. Now, it is not immediately noticeable (like the taskbar cache) until you hide the taskbar (or do more so the question is not at the same height as the taskbar itself). If you change the wallpaper of a solid such as blue color it is VERY apparent. It is also obvious when windows loads until the taskbar appears to hide.

  It does not appear that dead pixels, I'm at a loss as to what it is. Unfortunately, it is very obvious when editing photos (I Autohide the taskbar) that there is a long and dark shadow/blur on the entire length of the screen.

  Toshiba in a first time was told it would need to be repaired or replaced (this has bugged me because I informed them of the fault 2 days after purchase) but now after reviewing their own test machine (thanks to me telling them to check) they tell me it is considered a "limitation of technology' and I just put up with it. They would even say that it effects ALL of X 500, and even a replacement screen would give the same question. Now, I know the check against the models a dozen display here in Brisbane (a store open 4 boxes looking for a unit not fualty) there is obviously widespread, but surely a fault like this cannot perform all units.

  Do any other X 500 owners do NOT have this problem?

  Had a nice long chat with someone here re Toshiba service center the screen problem and unfortuantely... Yes, it will be the effect of all THE x 500 and no it can't be fixed.

  He said a retailer had 4 of them, so he took one and pulled to pieces trying to solve this problem, even a deported to Tokyo for Toshiba to watch.

  Seems the screen is "fluro tubes" to the top and the bottom of the screen and this issue is just a shadow of the tubes and there is nothing he/they can do to get rid of him. Said he tried...

• iPhone 7 screen purge / uneven edge of the screen

  I noticed on a background of intermediate color as the backlight on my 32 GB iPhone Black 7 is uneven on the right side of the screen and I see dark spots 7 or 8, almost like a series of rectangles will light dark light dark. You don't see them on a white background or against black, but only against colors flat (a gray screen at 50% for example).

  ITI is particularly notable, if I pull the low notification Center or go to multitasking where the wallpaper becomes a pale blur.

  I tried to capture on camera as best as I can as shown on the attached photo (ignore the white line of thinking above).

  

  I don't know what is my best option, because stocks appear to be low, so I can't even order a new and send that back as the day 14 return policy runs out next Friday and another would not happen for 2-3 weeks. I can't imagine having enough stock to swap Apple stores either.

  I was wondering what think and what would be the best course of action.

  Given that I can't edit my original post, I would also like to add:

  These are dark spots certainly that the screen is uniformly bright above and below the area as apposed to bright spots that you wait with purge of 'normal' screen).

  Scroll the app facebook for example, you notice that it is when an image that goes to the edge of the screen and you saw a difference subtle when the image scrolls clear/dark areas.

• Videos YouTube are aligned on the left edge of the screen

  Since some time last week, Youtube has been show videos lined up on the far left of the screen edge. Resizing, it does nothing, it seems to be stuck there.

  This is different from the redesign - there is no space to the left of the video, it is rather unsightly.

  I tried to run Firefox in safe mode with all add-ons disabled, but this has not solved the problem.

  It's Firefox on Mac OS x 23.0, but it was also very recently on 22.0 too before I updated.

• Satellite L10-333: screen stays black, until I hit the edge of the screen

  I have a Satellite L10-333, which is about 3 years old, it has suddenly started having screen problems.
  It started with a white screen instead of the normal and a black line all downstairs in the middle.

  Now when I turn on the pc, the screen remains black and dead until I hit the edge of the screen and when the screen comes alive, I must hold and press part of the cover, so that the display stays on...

  Anyone know what's the problem?
  I thought it might be a loose wire or connection.

  I agree with you. It must be a contact problem. In my opinion, it is not important if anyone else has this problem too and you have to find the solution as soon as possible.
  The laptop must be disassembled and check the connection of the screen. Now the question is what to do. Can you check it alone or you need professional help?

• the mouse cursor suddenly began to be stuck at the edge of the top or bottom of the screen.

  using Win 7 and all of a sudden today the mouse cursor would not and was stuck at the bottom or top of my edge of the screen.  I tried several different mice, both wireless and wired without result.  I rebooted several times and made a thinking system restore date was also a problem. I looked everywhere for a solution and can not find a.  I don't think it is specific drive due to different types of mouse, I've tried.

  2 did you check for any yellow exclamation point in Device Manager?
  3. other USB devices work properly?

  I tried to download the latest Wacom drivers, but I'm still not able to get the calibration work.

  I tried XP 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7, but the problem is not related to the operating system.

  The upper part of the screen is unresponsive to the pen. That you suspect makes most of the software unusable with the pen tablet mode if you cannot access the menu bar!

  I found a solution. I have a hard time to make sense out of it, but all I had to do was flip the machine in tablet mode. When the screen blinked black and then in the right direction, at the edge of the screen took over recognizing the digitizer.

  When the screen is not recognizing the digitizer once again, I did the same flip and the feature has been restored.

  Do a Select all on your pages (most likely a master page is it effects all pages) and you'll probably find an empty element or element that goes beyond the edges of the design to the design of your office.

  You would need to host or to use a service to broadcast them elsewhere and then use this service (IE youtube) to create the iframe code to move them into your computer.
